Cain has been that character that you loved in the beginning of the Hangman series. Then in a twist you might not have seen coming you want him to die. This wanting of his death and feelings for him teeters with the following books. Then he is thrown into hell by his own brother, so that he can take his place. Its when your now given his story that your heart will start to bleed for him. He’s just a man that didn’t really know who he truly was. He doesn’t want to be Cain anymore, the man that is known as Cain is dead. Yet the man that was known as Rider is dead, so who is he? Still he is able to bring Rider back to life.A woman that truly makes him see what he thought was love wasn’t. He will put his own life on the line to save her. Cain maybe dead, but can Rider find the redemption that he is looking for?
At first I didn’t think that I wanted to get Rider/Cain’s story. But, then after reading it I was glad that I did read it. He had the struggle of not knowing who he was , and then finding who he was meant to be. When he was finally able to be who he was suppose to be you couldn’t help but give his character another chance. Yes I was one the verge of doing that when he let the cursed sisters back when they were kidnapped, but I was still on the fence. Now I can say I am willing to let him back in. The way that he finally found his love was perfect for his character. I can not wait to get the next book in this series.
OH MY GAWD, OH MY GAAAAAAAAAWD. This is not my review, I just had to let this out. At the moment I cant string a sentence together.
*An hour later*….I think Im ready…Im certain I can write this review…but I know it will not do this fantastic book the justice it deserves.
Imagine being in a life with certain rules and beliefs drilled into you and then years later waking up, coming to and realising all you thought you knew was wrong, just so wrong….this is Cain….and his twin, Judah has literally gone round the bend.
Thrown in a cell with limited food and water, beaten, isolated…waiting. Then he gets an unexpected friend…..maybe there is a god after all…..
I love the Hangmen and hated Rider….I figured you reap what you sow…but this book makes you question what you thought you knew. This book was superb!
Well here I am reading book four in this series and let me tell you that Cain/Rider, I was not a fan of in the beginning. I mean to read about what he did and had no remorse in the beginning just irked me. However, as the series continues we get bits and pieces of him. So now we see Cain/Rider in a different predicament. He is no longer in a position of power and he actually sees what is happening. The things that Mae told him, he finds out that they are true. He feels as though he needs to redeem himself by changing things for the better. Unfortunately he does not get that chance. He also meets Harmony/Bella. Well this chick is different in the beginning. She is sweet, nice and well now that she has made her way to the New Zion compound she finds out what her purpose is and that is to fulfill the prophecy. She is to marry the prophet. Only it seems as though the prophet has a really nasty evil twin brother who has taken Cains place. This book gets crazy. Especially about Harmony and when she escapes with Cain and flees to the Hades Hangmen compound. I mean like are you crazy dumb. That is like asking to be dead dead. What follows next, I was crying. Seriously I don’t think I have not cried reading this series so far. Anyways, the question is can Belle help Rider redeem himself. Get ready to be thrust in turmoil while reading this book.

When I started this series, I didn’t like Rider that much. In fact I wanted to avoid his story and proceed to read only the hangmen books, but right now I’m so thankful I didn’t do it, because this one is hands down the best book in the series so far!
Rider is a misunderstood character. He was alone most part of his life and he only knew the life they forced him to learn about. Yet, he proved several times that besides his upbringing, he has morals and does the right thing, even if it means going against his own flesh.
What I didn’t expected is how hard his life has been and still is, and how judgmental are the hangmen men. I’m sorry, but in this book I hated all of them but Smiler. Their own women forgave him, yet they hold grudges because they want to prove they are the alpha? Im sorry what? Yeah, istg I hated all of them and chose Rider, over and over again.
Now as for Bella, she was a major surprise. Compared to the previous heroines, she is definitely the strongest and fiercest of all of them. The fact she sacrificed her life several times to save her loved ones? Brb, I’m crying She is definitely the best choice for my man Rider and wish them nothing but the best.
As for the plot, I have to say it was immaculate. Tillie connected Rider’s story with the hangmen storylines in a way it all made sense, which I’m grateful. Also those plot twists are insane!! I haven’t seen any of them coming, but I’m glad Tillie pulled them out.
The last thing I really love from the book is the scene where all the sisters stood up to support Bella and went against the hangmen. I am so proud of them!! I didn’t see that coming, but I’m glad they chose family before their husbands
Overall, deep redemption is the strongest story so far on the series for all the things mentioned before and also because Tillie’s writting is fantastic. In my opinion, pls read the books in order to avoid spoilers and keep going on thru the series. This series deserves all the love!!
I was really hoping for more from this book. I loved Rider, and had hoped that he would be redeemed. It seemed to fall short. Too much all at once and it felt forced. This series as a whole still has my interest, but it’s not as intense as it once was.
Woah this one was one roller coaster of a read and all I can say is poor poor Rider he was really put through the mill here.
Got to admit I was slightly sceptical concerning Rider’s redemption especially after all the stuff he’s pulled in the past I wondered how the author was going to manage to portray him sympathetically, but boy she managed it and I found myself totally heartbroken and empathetic over all he was made to suffer.
There was such a lot of hate for Rider from both the order and the hangmen and he just couldn’t seem to catch a break and even thought he was deserving of all he was suffering because of his previous actions.
His only light in the darkness of his reality was Harmony and the connection that was building between them and to save her he was willing to sacrifice everything including his own life.
But really was his situation that different to Mae, Maddie and Lilah he’s also been brainwashed.
Yes his upbringing was gentler raised In the pasture with his brother but this separation has just contributed to his total naivety giving him a skewed outlook about what the order is all about, he’s been totally brainwashed and indoctrinated into all that his people stand for and yes the initial power went to his head but he now seeing the error of his ways and is horrified and disgusted by his recent discoveries and the actions of his brother and even himself.
His blinkers have been forcibly removed and he is gutted that he was unknowingly a part of it all especially now he knows just what the all actually is.
He wishes he could turn back time and just have a do-over his faith and self-worth is destroyed.
He is neither Cain nor Ryder in fact he has no idea anymore just who he is the only fact he is totally convinced of is his need to save Harmony stop his brother and then atone for his past deeds.
Rider is like an Island alone and hurting, he has only known the love of his twin brother and now he has turned on him and betrayed there bond he feels truly isolated with no-one to turn to.
He is beaten daily and is broken down in both body and spirit losing all of his hope until her.
Harmony is another daughter of Eve cursed and here to fulfil the prophecy and marry Judah who is masquerading as Cain.
Her presence gives Rider new strength and a purpose and he will walk willingly into the gates of hell for her.
Harmony was fantastic so strong she has endured a lot and still hasn’t lost that spark and drive to survive.
She is instantly drawn to the beaten man in the cell next to her own despite not knowing who he really is and when she does discover the full truth she is an absolute rock and so protective.
She is just what Rider needs to realise that his previous infatuation with Mae was just that the first female to show him some care and attention.
The strength of his feelings for Harmony prove that there is just no comparison for him.
So we really do see a different side of Rider here one that has to endure and he was put through so much both physically and mentally that there was no way you couldn’t feel for him.
This was bloody brutal and Rider sure atones here over and over again it was relentless for him and I just wanted to scream enough leave him be he’s seen the error of his ways.
So there were also quite a few shocking reveals here and they did seem a little far-fetched one of these reveals I could maybe accept but there were three and I think it maybe this was a little too much and did stretch the boundaries of believability. Still, it gave this some added drama and it is fiction after all.
I do think the books are definitely getting better the further I progress, I have enjoyed all of them but this and the previous one were poles apart.
This was again a dark read and has a lot of triggers especially regarding the past child abuse please do know your limits this story deals with some really messed up stuff and doesn’t hold back, you will also need to read this series in order as though each book focuses on a different couple there’s an ongoing story arc throughout.
But yeh this one was a really good addition to the series I’m glad I carried on with this series as I was slightly on the fence initially but took a chance.

I’m not sure where to even start I’m in such a book hangover. Deep Redemption is just that good! I believe this has been my most anticipated read of the year. I actually squeed when it hit my kindle and I dropped whatever I was reading and started it immediately. If you’ve read the other books in the Hades Hangmen series, then you’re probably in a love/hate relationship with Cain/Rider like I am. I absolutely hated him in Hearts Recaptured, then in Souls Unfractured I began to thaw a little towards him. I wasn’t sure how Tillie was going to pull off redeeming Cain/Rider, but in my eyes she does…and does an amazingly beautiful job doing so.
Tillie has brought the most gutwrenching, heartbreaking story of the Hangmen yet, but it is also one of the most beautiful. Let’s face it, Cain/Rider is a man being tormented from the inside out as he desperately struggles to find his true self throughout this mess. Plus add in the fact that the only family he’s ever known, his TWIN brother, is as evil and deceitful as they come, and holding you prisoner because you refuse follow their pedophilia ways…yeah that’s enough to screw anyone’s head up.
I can’t say too much without giving away spoilers and I definitely don’t want to do that. Everyone needs to read this story for themselves so they can live and breathe this experience, because that’s exactly what it is. Tillie grabbed a hold of me from page one and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout this rollercoaster ride. I was in tears too many times to count and by the end, I was sobbing. You know you’ve read one helluva fantastic story when you feel every single thing these characters are going through, and you feel as if you lived the whole story with them. Tillie Cole will always be a go to author for me. Deep Redemption is book four in the Hades Hangmen series. You must read these in order to know what is going on. ALL HAIL THE PROPHET!

Talk about a page turner! This book took off right from the very first page and never let up! I’m seriously addicted to this series! Tillie has seriously created a series with so many twist and turns that leaves you wanting more.
I seriously don’t know where to even start with this review. By far this is the most emotional book of the series for me. So much happened in this book. At one point my heart just broke for how things played out.
I could not stop crying!
I never thought Cain was evil. Once it was revealed who he really was… I still sensed he was not like the others. But my heart broke for him. Everything he thought was true was not. And it was such a shock to Cain. He thought in his heart he was doing right. He thought he was put on this earth for a reason. Then the rug gets pulled from under his feet and he was left shocked, battered and bruised.
He had to form a new way of thinking and try to help others for the wrong he did….thinking he was doing what was right.
This book takes you places… Place you can’t even imagine. All you can do is hope for the best possible outcome.
I struggled with the last 80% of the book. I was just so angry and hurt. I can’t really write it down without giving away any spoilers. But it hurt!
This book was just so damn good! I had so many emotions running threw me while reading it. Tillie Cole did an outstanding job with Cain’s story! I truly could not put this book down. And I can not wait for the next book in this series!
*ARC provided for an honest review*
I didn’t know what I was expecting. I was on an emotional rollercoaster. Cain/Rider broke my heart. I loved him, then I hated him. He made me angry, happy and sad. I ended up being heartbroken for this man. He definitely redimed himself in my eyes. He was lost. Didn’t know who he was. He lost the trust of his MC. I’m glad he finally found his way. He is honestly a good man and I’m glad he found happiness again.
This is one of those books where you can’t believe you read something so epic. It’s one of the best MC series ever, scrap that one of the best books series ever. It’s definitely not a easy read by any means, you will have lots of feels in this book and they won’t all be good. I hated Cain at the end of the last book and I wanted him to get what was deserved but this is called redemption so my thought is how??? So happy there’s more to come because seriously when it’s this damn good you don’t want it to end ever!!!!
Tillie is a friggen genius how she keeps it compelling and the only reason you’re stopping to read because you can’t believe your reading something so EPIC!!!
Loved it and so thankful there is more in the works.
Confession time. I have always had a soft spot for Rider/Cain. Yes, I was furiously heartbroken by his role in the subterfuge and horrific acts that were played out against the Hangmen. But the thing is, Tillie did such a fantastic job writing the deeper layers of his character and his struggles to blindly follow his preordained path over his heart and mind, that I couldn’t help feel for him and hope for his redemption. When he stood up to the awful, disgusting practices of the Order, I wanted to shout “F yeah!”
Harmony is one of the strongest characters in this series. Her resilience and fight are awe-inspiring. She is the exact person that Rider needs to realize his worth, despite his past. Their connection is gut-wrenching and haunting, yet the love they give to each other brings hope.
No spoilers here but 5 stars for the continuation of this incredibly addicting and dark world!
This book was a hard one for me. Very emotional. It made me so sad and hateful! Rider redeemed himself in the end and I’m glad for that. It was written so good. Tillie Cole is a master story teller and I can’t get enough!
Every book in this series is sucking me so much further into this world. I have loved every single one and Rider and Bella’s book is no exception. It had all the raw grittiness I have come to expect from Tillie Cole. There were shocking twists that I never saw coming. I will definitely be shouting about this book to everyone!
Tillie did exactly what I asked her not to do; she made me feel for Rider.
I had been two men in my life. I was beginning to understand that neither of them were real.
I was nervous about this book. Rider betrayed my trust – just like he did the Hangmen. His actions, especially with Mae, really upset me. I could tell that he was a good man, but I was hesitant. Tillie, however, knew just what to do to make me feel for this man again. And I felt it all.
If there was ever a man who physically represented a torn soul, it was Rider. He was two sides of the same coin, a man straddling a barrier only known in his heart.
Lucky for Rider, there was one person that was able to make him realize what kind of man he needed to be. I am choosing to be vague about Rider’s love interest. Trust me, it is better going into this book blind. Just know the amount of strength and passion she had blew me away.
I decided right then that if she’d have been a guy, I’d recruited her to my club on the spot.
She was the heroine that I have been longing for in this series. She stood up for Rider when he couldn’t. If you have read this book, then please know that that scene broke me. OMG! She put her life on the line for his. She made him realize that people make mistakes and that there was hope for him after all the hell that he had endured. She was perfect.
Once again, Tillie Cole made me feel all the feelings that I didn’t want to feel. Masochist, I tell you! This story was beautifully written with so many shocking twists that I literally had to take breaks from the story to recover. With the introduction of new characters, I am ecstatic to see how they will be woven into the series. All the stars for this one, guys! It was amazing!
In such a short space of time, she had become my everything. My morning, noon and night. My reason to wake each day. In the end, she had been the greatest blessing I could have prayed for.
A saint for the ultimate sinner.

HOT DAMN! This one had it all… Secrets & lies, romance, LOADS of heartache, hope, violence & those crazy-a** cult worshippers!! Expect the unexpected with this one… 🙂
LOVED Cain/Rider & his woman together! Both of them overcame so much & remained so strong in the darkest of times. They are definitely a couple that you never will forget & can’t help but root for!!
Ok, so yeah… The Hangmen were pretty dang hard on Cain/Rider when they crossed paths but I’ve got to say… I can totally see why they did what they did. The things he did in the past to them (him being a rat & all), well… he set himself up for it. I didn’t enjoy it but I understood the Hangmen’s motives behind it.
LOVED getting more Mae, Styx, Lilah, Ky, Maddie & Flame in this one! They shared some very emotional scenes between themselves, as well as with Cain/Rider & his woman.
As always, cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the Hades Hangmen series! Very much looking forward to AK & Phebe’s story, Damnable Grace!!
This series just gets better & better. I didn’t think Rider could ever be redeemed but holy shit, Tillie had me rooting for Rider to find someone that was his equal. I love every single character and can’t get enough of this series that I can’t ever put my kindle down when I start reading. I can’t wait to read AK & Phebe when it comes out in April.
Totally loved each book in the series.
Deep Redemption (Hades Hangmen) (Volume 4) 4 stars – Damnable Grace (Hades Hangmen) (Volume 5) 3 stars. I just finished these two. I like this series but believe me they are not light reads. Cole writes some very deep dark stories. Lots of triggers in these books. Anyone who follows the series knows it’s about a religious cult and the MC. The religious cult is really nothing more than a group of pedophiles. Treatment of the children and women is hard to read about. There’s rape and physical abuse by the cult male members. And you have the Skin Heads and Aryian Brotherhood thrown in there. I still like the HEA each h gets but with all of the abuse of women/children and the deep emotional scars each of them have I would warn anyone who has triggers to not read the books. Like I said they are very deep/dark.
This was by far my favourite of the series so far. The book continues in the same intense way as the previous books in this series. I was unable to put this book down and was turning pages long after I should’ve have been asleep!
This book tells Cains story as the new prophet following the death of his uncle at the hands of the MC. Events take a turn for the worst for Cain as he slowly comes to realise that the Cult and everything he held to be true was in fact a massive cover up. Cain is deceived by his own brother, his own flesh and blood has turned against him and leads the Cult in his place. Thrown in to jail and his own personal hell; salvation comes in the form of a women in the cell next to his. A women that has now been branded a cursed women of Eve. Slowly they form a connection and realise they need each other. Together they form a plan to take back control and put right everything that Cain now realises is a falsehood!
There are shocks galore in store and several times I found I was holding my breath unable to read fast enough.
Tillie Cole is an amazing story teller with a fantastic imagination. There were plenty of times in the book when it was really hard to read and I had to take a break only because of the nature of the book. Reading about children as young as 8 being taken by grown men is heartbreaking but oh so true. The emotions I experience whilst reading this book ranged from deep sorrow to rage and for me that is the sign of a great author that can evoke such emotions in their readers.
This book is dark and disturbing and does cover in depth a variety of taboo subjects.
I’m glad this one didn’t finish on a cliff hanger as I would be compelled to keep reading but I really need to read something a lot more light hearted now before I can carry on. I will eagerly wait for further books in this series but equally I’m looking forward to trying her other books. She is an amazing author. Bravo Tillie loved loved love the Hades Hangmen <3
Holy. Fucking. Hell.
I think that #AllHailtheProphet should be changed to #AllHailTillieCole.
Abso-fucking-lutely brilliant!!
Deep Redemption encapsulates everything that I’ve come to adore about Tillie Cole’s books. She pulls out all the FEELS, especially the violent ones, and doesn’t pull any punches with her writing and goes unapologetically for the balls. No sugar coating happens here and if that’s what you are looking for in a book then you’ll need to move on, though you’ll be missing out on some great storytelling.
While I was surprised that Rider/Cain was to be our “Hero” in the fourth book, I wasn’t as violently opposed to it as some because there was always that something about him that told me there was so much more to him than he let out, no matter which name he used. Instead I found it to be an interesting choice, but as I’ve come to learn Ms. Cole always has a plan and Rider/Cain’s road to redemption was one that brought out all the feels from empathy to tears to wanting to stab something. But love him or hate him, I personally fall in the middle since he always intrigued me, your heart will hurt as he is ripped apart at the seams and then begins to put himself back together as he finds a clarity that can only be found after a journey through hell.
Now there is his “lady”. Speculation over who this woman will be has been running rampant and all I can say is that she is bloody AMAZING! As with the other women in this series who found the strength to rise like phoenixes from the ashes to fight so they could live and love, so does she. Her strength and compassion are blinding and while I love all the woman we’ve come to know so far, she is my favorite.
So much happens in this book it’s crazy and yet it all makes perfect sense in how it all plays out. Secrets are exposed and relationships are strengthened as well as broken. Which is why I do have to insist that you not read Deep Redemption unless you’ve read all the books in the series so far. There are so many things that have happened so far that come to a head in this one that the impact on your emotions won’t be what it should be. So, no, this is not a standalone in anyway. But I loved catching up with all of the Hangmen and the women (who all kick ass), and Viking just killed me. The way things were left at the end were as it should be considering all that has happened and the glimpses of what the future holds and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book to see what the future holds for the Hangmen and the ones they call their own!
