Class reunions: a time for memories—good, bad, and, as Virgil Flowers is about to find out, deadly—in this New York Times bestselling thriller from John Sandford. Virgil knows the town of Trippton, Minnesota, a little too well. A few years back, he investigated the corrupt—and as it turned out, homicidal—local school board, and now the town’s back in view with more alarming news: A woman’s been … alarming news: A woman’s been found dead, frozen in a block of ice. There’s a possibility that it might be connected to a high school class of twenty years ago that has a mid-winter reunion coming up, and so, wrapping his coat a little tighter, Virgil begins to dig into twenty years’ worth of traumas, feuds, and bad blood. In the process, one thing becomes increasingly clear to him. It’s true what they say: High school is murder.

I have read all of the Lucas Davenport books. Each one is better than the last. Whitty, full of surprises, and great characters that leave the reader wanting to know more. They are so good the reader wants to start the series all over again.
Always a good read
Love that bleeping Flowers
It was OK.
I like most Sanford books and ALL Virgil Flowers books! Entertaining and humorous and always worth reading (if you like Sanford’s work.)
John Sanford always delivers the most wonderful stories with recurring characters that we love.
John Sandford doesn’t disappoint. Captures your attention and holds it all the way to the end. There are unexpected twists. I love how he develops his characters. Great read!
I just loved it
Love John Sandford and love Virgil Flowers as much as Lucas Davenport! These books are always easy to read and good escapism.
Sanford develops great characters. This is no different. Great story right to the end.
I love all of Sanford’s books, but those with Virgil Flowers as the protagonist are especially fun to read.
Not his best. I’ve read all the Sandford series, and I usually love Virgil.
Loved it.
I’ve read dozens of Sandford’s books and Flowers character is my favorite…can’t wait for more.
Always enjoy Sanford books. One of my favorite authors.
Wonderful book. You can’t beat Vergil Flowers as a detective. His character has grown through the books that John Sandford has written about him. Start with the first book and read up and through this one and you will see what I mean.
Another fun “that Fucking Flowers” story
Luv Virgil
Enjoyed Virgil’s adventures as always
It’s a John Sanford book. What more needs to be said?
