Mountains, miracles, and marriage.
I had no idea what to expect when the producers of Dr. Hoffman sent me to the pristine white mountains of Aspen, Colorado. As the town of Aspen is known for being a winter haven for uber-rich Americans, I knew this desert cactus was going to be way out of her element. The ace up my sleeve however, was a high-class movie-making surfer whose family owned a cabin … owned a cabin in those snowy hills. With him by my side, I’d make the most out of the experience.
The job was assigned under unusual circumstances. An anonymous mountain man paid a hefty fee to persuade the producers of my show to send me out for a segment on local artisans. Suited up in my parka and Ugg boots, I put the warmth of the California sun in the rearview mirror and headed to a winter wonderland.
With my newfound family in tow, I was prepared to celebrate the best month the year had to offer…until the one woman who drastically changed my life all those years ago appeared like a shadow out of pure frosted air, shattering my soul all over again.

The town of Aspen is known for being a winter haven for uber-rich Americans. Mia knew this desert cactus was going to be way out of her element. The ace up her sleeve however, was my guy who is a high-class movie-making surfer Wes. Wes’ family owned a cabin in those snowy hills. With Wes by her side forever, she’d make the most out of the experience that she had set out to find.

Great series!
December takes us to Aspen, Colorado where Mia is sent by the top brass at the studio to interview up and coming artists in the area. It is here that she runs headlong into her past. The stress and suspense was intense as she face the one person from her past who could strip her heart. Her reaction is immediate and angry, but with the man she loves and her newfound family in tow, there are other aspects to consider. And Mia has a difficult time clarifying her feelings, and Wes is there to help her through it. This last chapter of the story had its sweet moments, and it brought everything to a lovely conclusion.
Though I enjoyed where the author took the story once Mia was finished with her escorting duties, I kind of would have liked to see her continue for another month or two before the situations they faced beginning in September. But all in all, it was a good story. Perhaps there were more sex scenes than necessary, especially after Wes returns from his ordeal. But, barring the hiccup in June, it was an enjoyable story and I found the way the author wove everything together to be interesting and intriguing.
I loved the end of this series it was a great read and I highly recommend
This series is a beautiful piece of art. I feel that way about a book when the author can paint beautiful, vivid and powerful images in my head. I also consider this, a piece of art because this author wrote this series and it is unlike any other series I have ever read. It kept my attention and I did not set the books down until I finished them, and that is not is not an easy task with me because of my work and I have 3 beautiful younger children. This series made me step back and ask myself if I should step out of my comfort zone more. Thank you for this beaitiful series.
The final book in the series tied everything up pretty nicely. I especially liked the “Where are they now” section at the end. It was nice to see who she kept in touch with and who was doing well and not so well.
