My world is about restoring the old and bringing it back to life. Antiquities. Old Relics. They all have a story to tell, and my family has been helping tell those stories for generations. It’s why we are old money. When I catch a man trying to steal one of my prized pieces, the fury buried inside of me comes to life. I’ll press him to the fire for everything he’s got, but he doesn’t have much. everything he’s got, but he doesn’t have much.
Only a daughter.
Funny enough, I need an accountant, and she’ll do just fine.
But the first time I see her, I feel like a pawn in my own game. Her innocence suffocates me, calls to the deepest part of me, the part that needs to own her.
To be her first. Her last. Her only.
I’ve not loved or lusted in a long time, but there’s something about her.
Whether I want her to or not – she’s causing my blood to burn.
I’ll never give her back.
Not even when the debt is paid.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~Weston

Weston Parker is a more magnificent author with each book he writes. Debt Collector is another tremendously written book with amazing main characters and secondary characters as it tells the tale of Andrew & Sophie. This book will draw you in from the beginning and hooks you to the end. Andrew’s parents die suddenly and with his dad’s untimely death, Andrew inherits his dad’s business. Andrew, being a somewhat anti-social billionaire, withdrawals to his mansion under the weight of not knowing who he can trust. To make matters worse, Andrew recently caught his dad’s old friend stealing from the business. Not sure what to do with this thief who had been friends with his dad for years, when the thief proposes that his daughter, Sophie, help Andrew with his accounting in order to ‘pay off’ this debt after he is caught stealing, Andrew’s one caviot to go with this plan is that Sophie must live in his mansion with him while she straights out and sets up the accounting for the business. What happens when Andrew feels the sizzling chemistry spark when he meets Sophie? Can she soften the billionaire enough so he lets his guard down and allows her in? Definitely Recommend this Phenomenal Book!
I am voluntarily leaving this voluntary review, but for full disclosure I did receive an advanced review copy, ARC, of this book.
Andrew is a very private and closed off person. He is now in charge of their antiqities business after losing his father and is all business all of the time. Unfortunately there is something wrong with his accounting department and they are hurting for money. When he finds an old friend of his dads Rick in his office during the middle of the night rummaging through crates of antiques, he loses his mind. He doesn’t even ask why he is there, he just threatens to call the police. When Rick offers his daughter to Andrew to help with his accounting, what will Andrew decide to do? Sophie is Rick’s daughter and has an accounting degree but enjoys working in the coffee shop and doing their books instead of working in Corporate America. When her father tells her he needs her help, she has no idea why and he won’t tell her. Can Sophie be the one to help Andrew become a better person and realize there is more to the world than business. What will happen when Sophie finds out what really happened between Andrew and her father? This is another well written read by Weston Parker. I liked the push and pull of their relationship and how someone could finally realize how life is meant to be lived.
Wow, another great one from Weston Parker! I really loved Andrew and his grumpy self, It was hard to see but there was a good loving man in there somewhere. Sophie was an unknowing pawn in this little game, her father used her as leverage, what could she do but help her father when he really needed it?!?! I absolutely loved watching Andrew find himself while falling for Sophie and Watching Sophie realize there is so much more out there to enjoy. Great story with amazing details and the sexiness was smokin’ hot!!!!
This was truly a fabulously written novel. I quite enjoyed that it strayed from the path of straight on hot and heavy, choosing to get more in-depth regarding the characters and their complex lives, not to mention their personalities. I loved that the epilogue was like it’s own little novella, bringing their lives to it’s HEA. Another spectacular novel from the talented Weston, I’m always looking forward to the next one!
First, let me say this was some outstanding writing. It is a great story, but more than that, this is some of the best writing I have read. Weston Parker did such a good job developing the characters. I felt like I really knew Andrew and Sophie to the point, that I knew what they thinking. Then the story is wonderful. You are in for lots of surprises. You never know what is going to happen next. It is a story of finding “the one”. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and this is a must read.
Another awesome read !! A page turner that was very hard to put down I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning because I had to know what happened next!! Loved the characters and the storyline! Highly recommended!!
**I voluntarily reviewed a Advanced Reader Copy of this book **
I received this as an ARC reader. This book was Great. I couldn’t put it down. Weston, you did it again, another great book. Great Book.
This book was amazing, Andrew is one I wanted to smack, he brought out so much hidden emotion and well his alpha personality just made him hit as Sin, but his journey was one I’m glad I took such a great character base and well it brings real life to the story.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy of this book that I received for free.
Weston Parker has a hit again in this excellent beauty and the beast based romance. Debt Collector, contains a great beast, Andrew, the owner of Hopper Antiquities, who catches Rick, a friend of his father, attempting to steal an artifact from his office. Rick, the hapless father, in order to save himself from being arrested offers his daughter Sophie’s expertise to help Andrew with his company’s accounting department. The spunky beauty Sophie, a barista and accountant working in her dream situation, is forced into servitude to save her father from a fate unknown to her. At their first meeting Sophie takes Andrew to be a real beast of a man. As the story progresses they delve deeper into each others personalities and lives coming to a better understanding of themselves and life.
I’d settle my debt like this.
This book was absolutely one of your best books by far. It took us into a world of rich and powerful people who didn’t realize what life was like outside the box until the right person came along. It was so heartfelt, caring, funny, sad and personal that you can’t help but far for the people. Andrew and Sophie gave this book that magic touch. So well done and I’ll definitely tell all my friends about it. It absolutely gets 5+ stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
A great spin off a beauty and the beast type story!
Gah! I loved this book so much! I finished it one setting. The novel has everything expected from Weston. Humor, seriousness, heart-wrenching scenes, sexy and lovable characters (both male and female) and enough loving to scorch the pages!
