Being an angel isn’t for the faint of heart.Amira’s been in Hell for as long as she can remember. With no memory of her human life, she tries to stay under the radar. Of course, being Satan’s errand girl doesn’t make that easy—especially considering she’s killed several other angels at his behest. When she gets yet another assignment from the Devil, it unexpectedly turns her existence upside down. … existence upside down. Memories long lost re-blossom, secrets unravel, and her past—as dark as her black wings—comes back with a vengeance.
Amira will face a choice. To embrace her true fate, or turn her back on all she’s ever known and loved. Because the fate of the world rests on her less-than-heroic shoulders.

A fast paced paranormal adventure with a side of romance and a fresh take on angels and demons. I enjoyed the darker elements, tendrils of true possibility, and unique afterlife system the author created. Being shorter than a typical novel, there wasn’t as much backstory as I’d have liked, but the details included were well done. It made for an enjoyable, quick read.
When your boss is Satan, you do what you have to in order to remain alive. Amira is sent on her next mission, determined to get it over with- only her next mission will change her life in ways she couldn’t imagine.
Great characters, twisty plot and secrets galore will have you turning pages like a fiend.
This was a great quick read. Simple story that was both happy and heartfelt and dark. Ami is awesome and keeps the story fun and interesting.
I . really enjoyed this book Amira used to be a human, Now she is Death’s angel. She works for the devil who causes her to forget her past including her family. In her mind she would always be the girl who doesn’t care and just gets the job done until her and Chivin get sent on a job. She finds more than what she bargains for as her past stares her in the face. Will she be able to do what Satan requires of her to get the job done or will she be able to take a stand for what’s right.
What a different read and totally in a good way! This book was nothing like I was expecting and I loved it so much because of that! Great story line, well developed characters. My only complaint was that it was only a one-off! I wish there was more of these guys!
Overall enjoyed the book. Amira works for Satan and she does what she is told. Until the last assignment where everything unravels for her. Did make you want Amira to find her memories and have a conscious. Could of had a little more story, but always enjoy Jen’s books!
Death’s Angel very quick read about Amira who is the Devil’s main assassin. Amira finds out on her most recent assignment that not all is what appears. If you like books that have a twist to good and evil then this series will keep you turning the pages for more.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It starts out with the devil’s fave angel of death that always performs when she’s called upon, and ends in a very unexpected place. If you’re a fan of angels and battles between good and evil, you will enjoy reading this book.
I enjoyed this book. It went a little fast for me. I kind of would like have liked the author to spend more time creating the bonds between the characters, but that is my only complaint. The internal fight inside Ami between the light and the darkness is something we can all relate to. I love that Ami and Xaviers’ love stands the test of time. This is an adventure you must take!
