A woman haunted by her past. A killer who won’t let her forget.
Faith Day’s condition curses her to recall her mother’s fiery murder like it was yesterday. And when the forensic photographer’s convicted stepbrother is somehow cleared 12 years later and released from prison, Faith wonders if he’ll put an end to her tortured memories. But after a string of eerily familiar fires tear through her … tear through her small town, Faith starts to question every detail of her traumatic past.
Luke Justice won’t rest until he catches a notorious serial killer masking his murders in arson. Following a trail of deadly blazes to Faith’s doorstep, the FBI agent senses she holds the key to the case. But if he can’t convince her to open up, Luke fears he’ll miss his best chance to put a psychopath behind bars.
As Faith fights the resurgence of dark emotions, an arsonist begins leaving personal totems in her home. Determined to stay alive, she taps into the only weapon she has against the vicious murderer: the echoes of her childhood nightmare.
Can Faith help Luke unmask the true killer before they both go up in flames?

One you just couldn’t put down!
This is the first book in the series and I really enjoyed reading it and getting acquainted with the characters. I couldn’t stop reading as I got closer to the end because I wanted to know who the killer/arsonist was. I will definitely read the next books in the series.
“Luke was right about one thing. There was some sort of attraction between us. The part that he got wrong was my willingness to do anything about it.”
Arson, murder, a convicted killer that was released because he was innocent, family secrets, cover ups, clues left like breadcrumbs, a budding attraction, and an ending that will make you want to scream!! A quick, intense read!!
Lots of twists
Sometimes you just need to pick up a book by an author you don’t know & start reading. This is one of those books. Very well-written with a few twists in it. I would highly recommend this book.
Fantastic!!
Having downloaded this book for free, I wasn’t sure what to expect as this is a new author for me. I shouldn’t have worried because I stumbled upon a gem. It was fantastic! The story itself was exciting and gripping and the characters compelling. I was instantly drawn into Faith’s story and invested in each and every character. The somewhat romance portion fit very well within the story and was quite realistic and believable. I was not ready for this book to end and bought book 2 and 3 as soon as I finished and can’t wait to get started. This book will not disappoint.
Easy to read page turner
Great heroine
Good story. Surprise ending. Looking forward to reading more in the series.
I really enjoyed this book. The story keeps you on your toes trying to figure out who the killer is. It’s a page turner.
original storyline and a good evening read for mystery lovers
A great story line with a surprising finish. Although it does have a complete finish, there is one last sentence that could almost be seen as a cliff hanger as it begins the start of a new book that wont be available till the Fall of 2020.
Loved it. Bought the rest of her books.
