Meet Molly Masters, a zany mother and accidental sleuth who owns a one-woman business that creates humorous eCards. After a twenty-year absence, Molly has relocated her family to her childhood home in a suburb of Albany, NY, only to have her husband’s reassignment abruptly changed to overseas.Molly’s least-favorite high school teacher dies on the very same day that Molly receives both a letter … a letter from that teacher and an anonymous email that threatens Molly’s life. All too soon, Molly finds herself knee deep in gossip…and murder.
This third edition, new in 2017, has been updated to include Molly Masters’ cartoons! This was Leslie O’Kane’s original vision for the book, and she is thrilled to finally see that vision come to fruition. Enjoy reading.
A laugh out loud story. A down to earth look at what could happen if you went to live in the house you grew up in, and had to deal with the same people you went to school with, and one was sending you threatening faxes. Highly recommend!Looking forward to the next book.
Somewhat interesting but not with buying.
Strong female lead character is intelligent, thoughtful and quite the sleuth. Great story line.
I love a book that grabs you from the beginning and never lets go. This is that book. It will keep you guessing until the end. I can’t wait to read more from this amazing author
A little too simple.
Ending too abrupt.
enjoyable characters, entertaining story line, enjoyable mystery, light reading
It was a great book. Laughed out loud.
This was not a good book. Boring, not funny, and the stupid stick cartoons didn’t help. This book would make a good door stopper and that is just about all it is good for.
This was well written and was interesting to make me come back and read frequently — I would read this author again
Such a great book to read . Wonderful characters , brought back memories of High School and how crazy life can be in a small town. I did not want to put the book down till I finished so I found myself grabbing the book every chance I could squeeze in a bit of reading. You need to have some down time where you can just get sucked into the book …
A good book for a rainy day when you want undemanding entertainment.
Not bad. It is a rewrite of the 1996 book Murder and Faxes. It is a nice light read. I didn’t realize who the killer was until the end that was good.
Was just pleasant to read and not so many characters that you needed a list. I got her 2nd book but not liking it as much.
I thought i had it figured out but i was wrong! Ending was a complete surprise. Going home depicted as it is in real life. High school drama 20 years later.
Great read
Easy read when you want something light.
Easy to read cozy mystery. It was refreshing to not have trash words jump out at me from the pages of this book. I loved the humor the author used regarding being a mother, also. Good mystery.
looking forward to reading more of this author’s books
