An entertaining enjoyable well written romance story. This engaging storyline different as these two both with different pasts have an insta love story starting thru dating site via pen and paper vs conventional means. Its told from dual POV with easy flowing, lots of chemistry and excellent extended epilogue. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
WOW!!!! What else is there to say. This was a really HOT story, and you will be missing out if you do not read it. I could not put it down it was that good!

Our couple is not looking for love, both having seen the worst of things in the past. But sometimes fate (or well-meaning relatives) don’t listen.
This is part of a loosely connected series by different authors, but all with a Valentines matchmaker theme. Each story features a different couple in a different setting, but all are by well known authors and tend to be very well written.
This one is certainly no exception. The story is fun, easy to read and features two well developed characters. You can feel our couple’s reluctance to try again, but the chemistry between them is real and they just can’t help themselves. They have some hurdles to overcome, but both of them fight to make what they found a reality. This was a delightful story with a fun HEA, a perfect relaxing read.
Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed reading Dear Mr. Firefighter.
This isn’t your typical matchmaker story. Chloe is a newly graduate college graduate who’s looking for a job in her advertisement. She wasn’t looking for a man, but was persuaded by her roommate to create a profile.
Cain is a former Navy Seal who’s now a firefighter. His sister thinks he needs a girlfriend and created him a profile and was matched to Chloe. Neither really looking for a love, but after writing back and forth decided to meet. There’s instant chemistry but Cain feels he’s too old for her and has demons of his own to overcome. Chloe was just offered a job in New York…. but will she choose love?
There’s plenty of chemistry, great sexual tension and I love the story line. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an exceptional read! It is well written romance of trust; a fast pace page-turner that is funny, moves at a brisk pace, and is very enjoyable. I love Chloe and Cain together; their chemistry is intense and sweet; I loved watching their story unfold. Really enjoyable and exciting!

One reviewer said, and I have to agree, this is sort of an old-fashioned romance. That’s partly because of the rules of the matchmaker and partly because the couple decided to follow those rules!! Cain is a 35 year old firefighter on his second career. His 10 year old niece signed him up on a matchmaker app without his knowledge. He thinks he’s too old to start looking for a wife and begin a family. Chloe is a 23 year old recent college graduate whose life experiences have soured her on any thoughts of love and relationships. Her friend badgered her into signing up with the dating app. Cain and Chloe get matched and Chloe sends the first letter being extremely blunt. Cain responds. They proceed!! They meet and mutual attraction off the charts!! Will they make it? What about when Chloe gets a job in New York? What then?? A sweet but not mushy romance.

Incredibly beautiful story!!
It’s funny how love finds a way when neither party is even looking for it. Cain is a firefighter and not even thinking about finding a girlfriend and settling down, but his niece seems to think he needs one. Chloe is focused on finding a job and after everything she’s seen she doesn’t believe love exists. They both get signed up to a matchmaker service by someone who loves them dearly and this book is their story as to what happens after being signed up. It is a wonderfully written, beautiful story and I definitely recommend it!!

Dear Mr. Firefighter is a really enjoyable novella. It tells the story of how Cain and Chloe meet through a matchmaking service and fall in love. It is told in dual POVs and is an insta-love story with a HEA. It’s also an easy, entertaining and enjoyable read. It is a novel of a nice length.
He is broken from past experiences and has build wall around him to not get hurt again. But she might be the one who can tear them down and make him happy. She has had a childhood with parents that was not in a happy relationship and has therefor not the best experience with it.
I like it has epilogues to tell what happens next. It is a light and easy read but very entertaining and sweet.
I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a quick and steamy read.
I really enjoyed this story. Really good plot to the story. Very well written. Would highly recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of stories. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

I just loved these characters! Each of them have doubts at first, but the way the matchmaker worked things, they have a fantastic relationship before they ever get to the steamy stuff. They worked through their bump in the road and made their HEA come true. Wonderful storyline!

Cain is a firefighter and his niece wants him happy so she signs him up for a match maker. Chloe’s friend signs up for the match making service and talks her into doing it too. Neither wanted to be matched up and went to cancel the service only to end up keeping it. Through letters they got to know each other and really wanted to meet. Sparks fly between them when they meet for the first time. They both know that they want this to last. Everything is going great until Chloe gets a job and she has to move to New York for it. Can they survive a long distance relationship? Will Cain move to be with her?
This is an amazing short story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Excellent contemporary & unique romance. Chloe is only 23 but has no faith in lasting love. Cain is a 35 year old SEAL who now works as a firefighter. Neither was looking for a relationship but due to family and friends both were signed up to a matchmaking business. I enjoyed the well developed characters as well as the way this story evolved. They have a lot of barriers to overcome. I received a complementary copy of this book via Booksprout and chose to write a review.
Chloe and Cain’s story is an older man younger woman story that I enjoyed reading how their first date comes to be from an internet dating site. This story had me smiling. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
If anyone knows anything about me, my reviews and my reading tastes very widely within the romance genre. I read a lot, and sometimes I get burned out, so I can’t get as into a book as I’d like. Right now, I’m in turn out more, so I haven’t really picked up a book to read in quite some time.
I started reading Dear Mr Firefighter and knew that I’d enjoy it, but my heart want into reading this particular genre of romance at the time. However, I did push through and finish the book. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I know I could have, but that’s on me, and not on anyone else (not even the amazing author that is Kelli Callahan).
I know they I’m going to go back and read this book when my mindset is in the right place, and I know that I’ll enjoy it more. I love the concept, and having two stubborn people join a dating site because of other people is an interesting idea.
I think you’ll enjoy this book a lot for the quirkiness, the banter, and the living family and friends surrounding both main characters.
Falling in love is risky business, but for Chloe the pessimist and Cain the fighter, it could prove to be worth the fall. Callahan charms her way into hearts with a spicy look at love with a heartwarming twist. Dear Mr. Firefighter puts the heat in tempting and the humor in fun.
Cain is a firefighter who lives with his sister and niece. His niece thought he needed a girlfriend so she signed him up with Grace Graham, a matchmaker. Chloe recently graduated from college and her friend signed her up because she thought Chloe needed love in her life. Cain and Chloe are a perfect match and I loved their journey to get their HEA. This is a sweet story with believable characters and a great addition to The Matchmaker Series.
Love this storyline! Chloe watched her parents split at her 10th birthday party. She’s very pessimistic about love. Cain feels loves passed him by. That he’s too old to settle down. They are both put into Grace Grahams matchmaking system by others.
This is a really good sort of old fashioned romance with a bit older guy and a new college graduate. i think the best way to describe this one is to say that it feels like an old school typical romance, and yet it is not such. But it was very fun to read and just so sweet through and through without being overly sentimental. Just fittingly. Overall, well done. The characters are wonderful and the storyline as well, it is quite well written and even though this was an ARC copy there were hardly any typos or any other errors – I might have picked one somewhere but that´s it! So just again well done.
