Loved, loved, loved this book
A great novella in another joint author series. Tracy Lorraine’s talent knows no bounds.
I loved how the dating site worked, with good old fashioned hand written letters going through their office. It’s a fantastic idea for a romance book and series. I also really liked the twist that was added, high school nemesis!! Rose and Seth had a lot of bad history and it all comes to a head when Rose seeks her revenge in the most awesome way ever! Leaving him tied to a bed naked!!
In true Tracy Lorraine style she left me wanting more. I hope the rest of the series is as great as this one.
Seth is a pro-football player who is sidelined due to an injury. Rose is a bookworm who dreams of becoming a writer. Two opposites who have a past join Grace Grahams matchmaker service. As they write their letters they have no idea who the other person is. This is an enemies to lovers sports romance with a good ending and a great addition to The Matchmaker Series. I am loving all the novellas in this series and the covers are drool worthy.
I loved this story. Loved Rose for the strength she found within to over come her time at school and the bullies she had to endure. I loved Seth for realising what he did when he was younger and how he tried to make it right. I was surprised when I got through some of the story that she recognised him on their date and he still didn’t recognise her. My heart broke for her but the question is does Seth get his HEA and forgiveness? A great story.
Love Seth and Rose!! He was the high school football star that bullied her. Now as adults they both go to the same matchmaker service and get paired. Can Rose forgive Seth?
A short very well written romance with nice storyline and plot. Likeable well described characters who develops nicely through the story. They have a nice chemistry and passion between them.
I like the mix of humor, sweetness, romantic and emotional twists. They have both been pushed into the matchmaker from friends and both really do not think they miss something until they begin to write and meet each other. I like the banter and that he is not giving up on her despite that she really tries everything to turn him down. But will they learn to communicate and forgive each other so they can have their HEA?
Absolutely a short story that is worth the read. It caught me from first to last chapter because of the writing style and humor but still being serious.
Tracy Lorraine is only getting better with her short stories. It was well written with a great storyline! I was not wanting this to be over. I want to go write my husband a letter now.

Dear All Star Player is a fun fast read . Rose’s friend thinks she should get into the dating scene so she signs Rose up at an old school dating site. Rose doesn’t get to see who sees sending letters to but imagine her shock when they finally decide to meet and she looks into the eyes of her biggest tormentor from high school, Seth. Seth was captain of the football team in high school and has just recently lost his ticket in the NFL. He needs a new beginning. And she needs…. Revenge. But what will happen when Seth won’t give up and Rose’s opinion of Seth is changing too?

Awesome story!
Loved this enemies to lovers story. It says a lot about someone with how they treat others and Seth Brady was a real jerk to Rosie Moore when they were in high school together. Years later a matchmaker seems them a perfect match. Grab this wonderfully funny book to find out what happens when these two meet again. Definitely a great read!!!

What a sweet sexy and fun read! This is a little different approach to matchmaking than some of the stories I have read. It somewhat old school but I like the method. I loved the characters in this well written quick read. Rose and Seth are great! Wonderful chemistry between the two. I enjoyed karma and the revenge. This story is entertaining with a little angst and drama.
Seth could have been have such a douche but the way he was written, you could see how he had changed from that selfish high school boy. I could feel Rose’s hesitation and subsequent surrender. I am so glad Seth didn’t give up and their banter was actually pretty funny and not to mention sexy. I can’t help but also want a story for Bryony 😉

The jock and the book nerd collide for a sweet romance
This is my 6th book by Tracy and I love an author who writes in dual point of view. Rose’s friend gives her paperwork for an old fashioned matchmaker which actually intrigues her, so she fills the paperwork in and sends it in. Seth is surprised to find he has been matched with someone because his friends submitted the paperwork for him. Seth’s letter to Rose gives her the perfect idea for a gift back to Seth. When the two finally meet, Rose realizes her hatred of jocks from high school is still very much alive in the present. Will Rose’s antics with Seth, push him off or attract him further? You have to read to find out and will love Seth’s determination to win Rose!
Book Review
Title: Dear All-Star Player
Author: Tracy Lorraine
Genre: Romance
Rating: *****
Review: So this book is part of the same series as Dear Lonely Heart, Dear Mr. Firefighter & Dear Double Team and every single entry I have read in this series so far, I have loved. Dear All-Star Player follows Rose and Seth. Like most of the other women, we have followed Rose is signed up to the matchmaking service by a friend and even though Rose is reluctant she seems to take some comfort in the fact that Grace uses old fashioned methods and ideals in her agency.
Seth turns out to be Rose’s high school bully, who is one of the main people responsible for Rose’s poor self-image growing up and her inability to completely trust the men she is dating. However, Seth doesn’t recognise her straight away until she introduces herself, Rose not wanting to date the man she believes Seth to be leaves and it seems like any chance at romance vanishes. In the meanwhile Rose and her friend come up with a revenge plot, so Rose can make Seth feel even a little bit of what he made her feel all those years ago. The way she goes about this funny but at the same time, it is a little heartbreaking as Rose feels good at the time but immediately feels guilty.
Seth isn’t deterred by Rose’s little revenge scheme, in fact, it makes him want her more and Rose can’t help but start falling in love with the man who had made her high school life a living hell. The pair manages to see past their impressions of the other and that when things start getting steamy. So far in the series, these are the best steamy scene I have read apart from the ending of Dear Mr. Firefighter and it really brings the whole story together rather than being smut for the sake of smut, which is a common thing in these types of novels.
I must also give a major shout out to the ending, Rose gets a marriage proposal and announces that she is pregnant all in one go on the same night Coach Seth’s team win the big game. This really brings the characters full circle, Rose has managed to overcome her judgmental side and see people for who they are now rather than who they were, and Seth has overcome his depression at the end of his football career and found another he can love just as much.
A great enemies to lovers romance. Seth is paired with Rose through the matchmaker company. I enjoyed watching the pair get to know each other and they worked for thier relationship not just all of a sudden they were a couple

This quick read is a touchdown! Love, love the characters, their chemistry is on point and heats up as their romance journey plays out. Rose may think she is a nerd but she has sass and strength which she needs to be a match for Seth. For a read that pack a punch you need to one click this cute, fun and enjoyable new release that didn’t disappoint.

I love the banter between Rose and Seth. The prank she pulls on him. OMG!! It was wonderful to see that antics in high school don’t necessarily define you when you grow older, even if someone holds on to those and there is a chance to reinvent yourself and become better. A wonderful read!!!

Omg I loved this book so much!!! I’m really hoping she makes this one into a series. It was sooo amazing and I need more.
Wasn’t sure how, but what we have here is a phenomenal romantic tale where it’s light on the football aspect so anyone can enjoy it. What really stood out is Rose having the strength to overcome bullying and how she handled all that. Seth is your typical jock and full of himself. Enjoyed the way that Rose and Seth each learn to forgive and take chances. Another book I wished never ended!

Perfect little love story.
Dear All Star Player by author Tracy Lorraine was a delicious little novella to spend a Saturday afternoon with. The nerd, Rose who is matched with the one type she doesn’t want to be, a football player, is the football player, Seth. He was a bully to her in high school so she is out to enact some revenge. But, will it have the desired effect?
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and I am leaving this review for your consideration. Happy Valentines Day!
