Would you risk your soul for the pleasure he offers?
Forty-something Emelie Odenberg is a witch. A divorced, mead-making witch to be exact–and with a failing company on the razor’s-edge of bankruptcy to boot. Desperate to save it, she turns to her very last resort: summoning a viciously sexy Swedish dragon.Fire dragon Ragnarr Thoringr loathes witches. He’s despised them for eight hundred … despised them for eight hundred years–so why does he find this plus-sized witch so beguiling? There’s something irresistibly steamy brewing between them. She conjures his rapt attention and challenges his deep-seated prejudice–and despite himself, he’s instantly obsessed.
THE DEAL? A handful of wishes to bail out her business, in exchange for immediate payment.
THE CURRENCY? A gorgeous dragon pleasuring every lush curve of her body.

The first book in the Thor’s Sons Crave Curves series a well written book that I enjoyed reading. I want to read more in this series.
This is seriously heat jumping off the pages right from the start!
Swedish witch Emelie just wants her business to do well, but everything seems to be bent on making her life as difficult as possible: financial troubles, staffing and location, basically all the ingredients for a successful business seem to be working against her. Enter Ragnar, a smoking hot dragon shifter. Emelie summons him to strike a deal: save her failing meadery with his magic in exchange for payment. What payment you might wonder? Well, Ragnarr instantly falls in lust with the cury beauty as soon as he sees her…so the payment is hot, hot, hot, I promise you that. Over time Ragnarr finds himself falling in love, even though past experience and betrayals make it difficult for him to trust the little witch – just as her past experiences make it hard for her to trust him.
A very convincing realistic fantasy romance that will make you melt and fan yourself over and over while making you say ‘Awwww’ Truly fantastically written and a joy to read!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved the story if a BBW and the dragon who loved all of her curves. In a time of financial distress, Emelie summons a dragon and Ragnarr, son of Thor appears. A deal is made that is beneficial to each of them. The book also shows how Emelie has had to deal with negative comments and snide remarks made by uncaring people and the toll it has taken on her psyche. There is a HEA but because of misunderstandings and suspicions it almost did not come about. It is s good read and I would recommend it.
Deal with her Dragon is the first book in the Thor’s Sons Love Curves series and, as the title of both suggest, there are DRAGONS!!! and curves.
The first thing I need to say is I love the ages of our main female. She is in her early forties – not a twenty-something whippersnapper. For the most part, Emelie is a strong and confident woman. The only time she isn’t is when she is with her mother or when her coven-mates profess to know more about her situation than she does. This was annoying – mainly because so much of it struck home to me – but also added a whole layer of believability to the story!
There is some serious heat going on between Ragnarr and Emelie which made the hard part all the harder. I loved how descriptive of both main characters that part was. You could feel the despair oozing off the page from both of them.
The world-building is brilliant and I love that it’s set in Sweden instead of America. The characters are all fully-dimensional, whether or not you like them is a different story. This is a complete story by itself but other brothers are mentioned.
All in all, this is a fantastic first book that introduces a world of dragons and some seriously sensual loving to the reader. Ruby Sirois’ writing lets you delve into a world of Norse mythology, with scenes to melt your heart or to bring tears to your eyes. A hot and steamy novel that I highly recommend and I really can’t wait to read more.
