I’VE OFFICIALLY SCREWED THE POOCH. Not literally, because that would be disgusting. But I did break one of the cardinal rules of Bro Code, which is equally appalling. You see, I fell for my best friend’s sister, after he explicitly forbid me to go near her. As if that weren’t bad enough, I went ahead and married her while sh*tfaced in Vegas. I know that I should get an annulment and forget the … annulment and forget the whole thing ever happened, despite the fact that our wedding night was the hottest thing I’ve ever experienced.
The last thing I should do is go back for seconds.
Or thirds.
Or…you get the point.
And what I definitely shouldn’t do, is say f*ck the consequences and give this marriage a real shot.
But here’s the problem with that: I’m pretty sure that Charlotte Harris is the one. And if that’s the case, nothing is going to keep me away from her. Not even her brother.
*Deal Makers is a brother’s best friend/firefighter/ best friend’s sister romance filled with lots of laughs, drunken shenanigans, and hot sexy times. It is the third installment in the Dealing With Love series but each one can be read as a standalone.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed the story, i liked the storyline and it was funny and steamy. The characters were fun, but a bit immature – they seem more late teens/early 20s than late 20s/early 30s. Drew and Charlee have great banter and chemistry. I liked how Charlee went for what she wanted despite her brother and putndown the “bro code”.
Overall it was a fun read and I’ll probably check out the others in the series.

What would you do if the code of conduct you’d lived by for most of your adult life stopped you from having the one thing you truly desired?
That’s the dilemma facing Drew Summers. He’s been best friends with Brady for ten years but only recently met Brady’s sister. It might have been lust at first sight for this commitment shy hottie, but that’s about to change. Only problem is a little thing called the ‘bro code’ filled with a list of rules that included not setting your sights on the best friend’s sister.
But one engagement party starts the ball rolling with a seductive kiss and it’s sealed months later with a secret wedding in Vegas.
When they wake up next morning, they have to decide whether to try being newly-weds and not letting on to anyone because Brody will have a fit! Or to just get an annulment.
They go for the easier option but fate has other ideas and weeks pass as they get closer and closer. The chemistry between these two was believable even if the story needed more than a pinch of fictitious salt.
I wasn’t a rip roaring fan of this book but I did enjoy it, I liked meeting the secondary characters from the previous two books, which I haven’t read yet. Not sure if I will, although I am curious to see how Brody behaved in his book as he was a bit of a domineering a** here, but Devyn and Riley seem to make a cute couple. So maybe?
