Harlan Coben’s novels are riveting. Characters and story line a cut above other authors. Read Deal Breaker and you will have a new favorite author.
The Myron Bolitar books were all wonderful. Harlan Coben kept my interest throughout the series.
First of the Myron Bolitar series by Coben. Myron is a lot more snarky than in the later books, but this is where you first meet him and most of the gang. Missing co-ed, college athletes turning pro, Myron as their agent, mob guys involved, Win to the rescue.
I want my very own Win.
Harlan Coben begins his mystery series well with Deal Breaker. He introduces his characters with lots of description, details about friends and family, and lists of personal quirks.
The plot is intricate and revolves around the disappearance of a coed. Is she alive? Is she dead? What happened to her?
Wanted to try this author since he has many readers. Not disappointed at all. A twisty plot and good character development but the best part is the sharp, witty and sarcastic dialogue Myron Bolivar brings to the story. It will make you chuckle as you read.
A great series! I miss Myron and friends!
The debut of Harlan Coben’s Myron Bolitar character is definitely worth a read. Coben combines wit with mystery to create a heroine that is different than most in the genre, and that is a very welcome change for me. Great series. Lots of fun, lots of action, and lots of twists.
I’m hooked! I’ve two book already and I’m on my third!
Have read all of Myron Bolitar series! They are great. Waiting on next one in the series!
The Myron Bolitar series is addictive! Loved all of the books. Never a dull moment with Myron and Win.
Harlen Coben is one of my favorite writers. I love his Myron Bolitar books and this is the first of that series and one of my favorites. Coben’s characters can be quirky and over-the-top, but they still manage to feel real. The setting is so well done it almost becomes another character. Solid Writing, great characters, strong plot written …
Another great book from Harlan Coban! If you’re familiar with his gang, Winn, Myron, Zorra, and the two woman wrestlers, this is the book where they’re first introduced. Well written with a great twisty plot.
There are mob guys and skeezy guys and if you know Winn, he’s the perfect buddy for Myron because he’ll kill them that needs killing …
