If you want a romp with British society this is it. There were some funny incidences and passages but generally you could skip pages without losing much.
I stumble on this author by chance and love her-she definitely knows how to keep you interested and amused while telling her story
These three start off well but then turn into a soap opera.
And the editing is weak and therefore distracting
I found these three books to be extremely entertaining. The main characters are well developed and work seamlessly in all three stories. They are typical British style mysteries which seem to take awhile to all come together, but it is well worth it.
This was my introduction to the author. I was glad to have three of them to enjoy. Well paced, entertaining, and great characters.
FIRST TIME READING THIS AUTHOR AND ENJOYED IT. Will look for more by this author
I’ve only read the first of the three in this volume,,, wanted to space them out and savor them more! Really enjoyed the first book….. Love the characters.
As soon as I read the first book, I knew I had to read the entire series. It was like having the time to binge watch one of your favorite British mysteries. The author creates interesting plot lines and unique characters for each book, as well as continuing to develop main and supportive individuals across the series. I especially enjoyed the …
Thoroughly enjoyed characters, plots, dialogue, and action. Well written.
This series contains a realistic heroine and her unrealistic life events. It is British, police procedure, and just enough romance to hold the stories together. I liked them a lot and have read the entire series to date.
Mature main character. Funny while being informative. Interesting wording due to setting in unfamiliar to American reader. Very readable either in order or alone. Look forward to more.
I love this series and I’m waiting on the next one to come out. The characters jump off the page and the mystery is intriguing.
Not ‘the’ best-written detective novel, but a fun read. There really ARE times when you don’t want to have to think too, too much, nor be scared. And the characters are consistent across the three, reads.
I am a fan of this series, which take place in a past England
Excellent! Fun! Just enough English slang to give it character. I read this triple set and purchased Black & Blue and Blue Blood to complete the set.
Have read the complete series to date and enjoyed them all. Felt the last one was the best.
Great! Looking forward to reading the rest of the series 🙂
Great, could not put it down
Great cast of characters. No shortage of potential criminals. Rarely predictable.
Enjoyable, interestin plots, likeable characters.
