SHE KNOWS WHERE TO FIND THE BODY When Raina Hamish tries on a dress in a Miami boutique, she has a terrifyingly accurate vision of a murdered corpse in the murky shadows of the Everglades. She wants to help, but who would believe her when she can hardly believe herself? Special Agent Axel Tiger has returned to Florida to help hunt a serial killer, but the investigation doesn’t have much to go … doesn’t have much to go on. Raina’s vision is their best chance to uncover more. Axel’s experience with the FBI’s elite paranormal team will nurture Raina’s abilities, and she may be able to help save a life–but it puts her directly in the crosshairs of a killer who is closer than they would ever suspect.

It was Good but it seemed to be lacking spice. The first Krewe books were soooo good but these newer books just aren’t the same. Maybe it’s just me . The reveal was WOW! I had my thoughts about a couple of people but the rest of them were no where on my radar. Not at all sure I want to be trying on clothes anytime soon you know just in case.
Just finished Deadly Touch. Romance, suspense, helpful ghosts, and an added twist of paranormal. Always love Heather Graham Pozzessere, but this book was an extra special treat because its backdrop is South Florida and. predominantly, the Everglades. I was born, raised, and live nearby. She paints a vivid picture of the landscape. Her concern for our precious “river of grass” is obvious. It pulled me back to so many places I’ve visited, and I learned some new things on the journey. Loved it!
Awesome read.
Axel, FBI Special Agent and Krewe member, has been invited in to help local and tribal police with a series of possible abductions and a murder. Raina, a local animal trainer, is drawn into the investigation after seeing a vision of the dead woman. As they investigate, many small clues start to add up and they may finally be on the trail of the killer. But when Raina is abducted, it may take ghostly help to find her and to put an end to the killing.
Love this series so hard. I re-read the books all the time. Highly recommend.
I love this writer. Her books are always hard to put down once you start.
An amazing story . This story takes off from the start . It’s full of twists and turns . The main characters are unique and gifted .
The story is action packed and so suspenseful . I couldn’t put it down . The story is intense . There’s romance but it’s not center stage . If you love a bit of paranormal with your suspense this is a fantastic choice . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Thoroughly enjoyed Deadly Touch. I like that Heather Graham always provides history, information you can check, making it understandable and relatable, making you want to know more. The romance was light g rated, eh maybe G+ which is such a benefit in this day and age so you had a plot. A story, a mystery with a relationship developing. Win! Did not figure out towards the end who and the whys were always a mystery until explained at the end. Another Win. If you want a great mystery with a romance on the side and interesting history with some paranormal, this is the book for you!
I love Heather Graham’s books – a fast read with a few twists and turns to get you guessing…
Raina Hamish has a vision of a murdered body left in Florida’s Everglades after trying on a dress in a Miami shop. Special Agent Axel Tiger is from the area and is back to help catch the killer or killers. Raina’s vision may provide some clues and is the most they have for now. As Axel and Raina work together to nurture Raina’s abilities, they’re also double checking everything they have. But can they catch a killer before someone else is killed?
I love this series and this book is a prime example of why. While the series is long, the author keeps it fresh and each book is as good as the first. It was well-written with wonderful characters. Full of action and intrigue, I was caught from the beginning and kept hooked until the end. The story is full of twists and turns, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I’m very eager for the next book. I highly recommend both book and series which I suggest you read in order. If you’re new to the series, you should at least read the books in each “trilogy” (and a couple “quartets”) as they come out. This book is the second in its “trilogy”.
