Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade and India Kells
So I have to be honest I went ahead by reading the first two books in the series and I’ve also not read Ms. Kells Purgatory series either. But I have read several of the Fortis Security series which are fantastic, so after finishing Deadly Alliance I have to say the blanks are all filled in now. Especially Shane and Emme’s romance plus the formation of the Alliance Agency.
Shane Rhodes wants to find the killer of his former Navy SEALs teammates sister and realizes that he’ll need both the Fortis and Purgatory agencies to catch the serial murderer. Because the women are all former service members both for the UK and US they are escalating quickly. So Emme Wallace will be assigned to Shane and they will pose as a couple posting on social media but can they find the killer without exposing who they work for and quickly?
But when the killer is found to know a member of the Purgatory team everyone will have to race to stop a killer as well as the bombs they have set to go off including one attached to the one he loves Emme.
This was a good read. The characters did drive me crazy. I just couldn’t understand their thought process.
This story line will grab you in from the very beginning. There’s suspense and action and some sparks between the characters. Suspenseful romance isn’t enough to describe this book, it’s that good. A must read the is truly enjoyable.

I am a huge India Kells fan and have read all her books but Maddie Wade is new to me but I will be looking into her books
Shane Rhodes is a member of the convert Purgatory team he is a retired Seal who is perfect for covert work He never expected to work with the men and women of Fortis after all the Atlantic ocean separates them but when a serial killer strikes close to home He becomes involved in the case Can he be neutral though when the killer has killed the sister of a friend. Then he meets who he is working with Emme Wallace may look sweet and innocent but she has the respect of her team and she is the perfect bait for this killer. Can they work together Will they realise that a bond is forming between them that is more than work and will they finally bring this killer down You will have to read to see
This book hooked me from the get go I just couldn’t put it down I fell in love with these characters and omg what a story just a perfect

I wasn’t sure about Shane, he seemed like he blamed almost everyone else for mistakes and often it was him either not trusting or being to wrapped up in his own head, I think he realised this in the end but it could have meant a lot more injuries or death had the others not been more focused. Suspense and full of action with lots of threats and twists. This is an edgy read that is gripping and exciting with a fast paced plot and fabulous characters, it also gives us a lead into a new series that sounds interesting. Also I feel this could be read as a stand alone but is still more enjoyable if you have read the other books by the authors to get the overall feel of the characters involved. While I have read most of Maddie’s books I haven’t read any by the other author so this might be the reason I didn’t completely gel with Shane to start with. Background can make a big difference when characters are followed through. Awesome read and one I really got my teeth stuck into, with a few omg or heart stop moments and even some sad ones. Loved it and definitely a five star book
This is the 4th book I’ve read written by India Kells; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Bea is the head of the group known as Purgatory. They specialize in actions that deal with issues around women, often with trafficking.
Zack is the head of Fortis. Brit spec ops located near the heart of their training centers, using active and retired forces from the UK, US and elsewhere as needed.
A specific threat hits close to home in more ways than one as young women with military affiliations disappear, and their mutilated remains are specific. It hits home in part because one of the victims is Misty, the baby sister to the best friend of Shane. Former SEAL, like her brother, it is devastating to Shane that he could not protect one of his own.
Connections between various groups work to neutralize those involved and deal with the issues their actions and the consequences of their service have on them and the people around them.
Intense psychological thriller.

Deadly Alliance (An Alliance Agency Novel – The Prequel) by Maddie Wade & India Kells
5-Stars
Deadly Alliance (An Alliance Agency Novel – The Prequel) by Maddie Wade & India Kells was action packed and exciting. I was easily hooked at the start of this novel and could not put it down. The story line was easy to follow and fun to disappear in. It had great build up to a fun climax. I loved also the characters of this novel. They were easy to visualize and realistic. I loved the witty banter and humor of some of them. I have read other books by these two authors and I love what they have created together. This novel was an enjoyable read and I highly recommend it. I look forward to more from these authors.
Deadly Alliance is a crossover novel between India Kells Purgatory series and Maddie Wade’s Fortis series. It is a prequel novel bringing together these 2 amazing group to form a new alliance. I am a huge fan of both India Kells’ Purgatory series and Maddie Wade’s Fortis series, so when I discovered that they were working together to create a crossover, to say I was excited, is a bit of an understatement. There is no way that anything they would work on together would be anything less than amazing and I was so right. I loved this book so much and can’t wait to read more of this series.
In this book, the 2 teams have got together to find a serial killer who has been killing female members of the military in both the US and UK. One of those killed was the sister of former Navy SEAL Shane Rhodes’ best friend. Now working for Purgatory, Shane is determined to catch the killer. The plan is to work undercover with Emme Wallace, a Fortis agent, pretending to be a married couple to bring the killer out. Needless to say Shane and Emme didn’t see eye to eye on anything, which only got worse as both started to fight growing feelings towards each other.
This book is very fast paced, has fantastic characters and an amazing storyline that grabs you straight away and takes you on a roller coaster journey filled with mystery, suspense, danger and heart break. I was pulled right into the story and couldn’t put it down, devouring the whole book in one sitting. If this prequel is anything to go by then this is going to be an epic series which I will read over and over.
Deadly Alliance is a Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel. This romantic suspense novel is fast-paced and action-packed as Shane Rhodes and Emme Wallace go undercover to trap a serial killer. The characters are well defined and have amazing chemistry even though they don’t agree on many things at first. The storyline is well written, with murder, danger, intrigue, suspense, and a steamy romance.
I would love to read more books in both the Fortis and Purgatory series.

This book is filled with sparks, suspense and hot loving. An enjoyable read with lots of twists. You can’t help but love both Shane and Emme. This book in the series is a dual agency operation. Shane is professional but this particular mission is personal so when his new young and attractive partner joins him he isn’t to happy. Emme is way to young and pretty and he doesn’t trust her. But Emme is on this mission for her intelligence and quick under pressure reflexes. But the suspense and action keeps you guessing if the two will get s HEA

Deadly Alliance is a Fortis/Purgatory crossover novel. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this collaboration as this is my first experience with the Purgatory novels, but this story is fabulous. The story line keeps things moving and it is easy to connect to the characters. I love that there are a lot of strong females working alongside the alpha males.
In this story, Emme and Shane have to go undercover to help catch a killer who is targeting women that look like Bea, the leader of the Purgatory team. As they get closer to uncovering who the killer is, Emme’s life is in danger. Shane would like to believe that the angst he feels is fallout from losing his best friend’s sister to this maniac, but he knows he is lying to himself. He seems to have developed feelings for Emme, which is distracting him from the mission. If he wants to keep Emme safe, he needs to hold it together. After a horrible tragedy, Shane knows what he has to do, even if it breaks Emme’s heart.
Deadly Alliance starts out a little on the slower side, but it picks up a few chapters in. It becomes an intense tale that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering how it will all turn out.
Deadly Alliance was a great 5 star read. This was a great collaboration from these two authors, I was excited to read it.
Shane is on a mission to find the serial killer who is responsible for the death of his best friends sister. The killer seems to be targeting women who all have the same look to them. Emme happens to have the look that could possibly draw the killer out. She joins Shane’s team to portray his wife undercover.
It looked like a convention for the deadly and sexy. Jesus, not one person in the room was ugly, far from it they were all gorgeous. – Emme
These two have such a great chemistry between them, you can feel the heat coming off the pages. They are both very strong characters that I loved immensely. They just clicked in so many ways. Will they be able to find the killer before he strikes again? Will they keep things professional or give in to their attraction?
We get suspense, mystery, drama, danger and so much more. I was on the edge of my seat flying through the pages to see what was coming next. There are some great twists and secrets that added great elements to the story. The secondary characters added a great element to the story, it’s like one big family when they are together. If your looking for a great read, this is the one for you. I look forward to reading more from Maddie and India.
Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel
By Maddie Wade and India Kells
5 stars
AMAZING!!!! I love Maddie Wade and I love India Kells but together these two were phenomenal! When I saw these two had joined together to collaborate on a story I couldn’t wait to start it and I will admit I did have high expectations and they were met above and beyond what I thought. I loved every single minute of it. The two authors writing melded together perfectly, the storyline was fantastic and the characters were amongst some of the best I have read about so far this year. I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough as I was so captivated by everything that I was reading. There was suspense at every turn, it was action packed and so incredibly well written. There were plenty of twists and turns that kept me guessing about what was going to happen until the end.
Deadly Alliance is an incredible story written by two very talented authors who I really hope will team up again in the future!!
Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade & India Kells a four-star read that will push you. What a great crossover, you can read one of the series, both or neither and you will still get something out of this story. The story is strong from the first page, you will be kept guessing at every turn and the drama is full on, Emme and Shane are so compelling to read. Despite all the twists within the story the overall was a little underwhelming but the drama during kept it up, so you may think you know where it will end, but you won’t know how you get there.
