USA TODAY Bestselling Series!Southern belle Verity Long is back in business—as a ghost hunter. Now all she has to do is visit the town’s creepiest mansion and exorcise a family of vengeful spirits. Piece of cake. After all, ghosts love her and need her…that is until she meets the ghosts of Rock Fall mansion. They’ll do anything to keep their murderous secrets hidden within the cliff-side … within the cliff-side fortress—even if that means getting rid of one meddling ghost hunter.
With the entire town skeptical and scrutinizing her every move, Verity struggles to uncover the century-old mystery behind the house. And when she stumbles upon a very fresh, very dead body, she realizes there’s more to it than she ever imagined. With the help of her sexy cop boyfriend, Ellis, and her ghostly gangster sidekick, Frankie, she braves the overgrown gardens, the desolate family cemetery, and the haunted mansion that have been locked away for generations. But can Verity unearth the truth before she’s the next one buried on the deadly grounds?

I enjoy this writers books and I always read her books as they come out. They are fun and entertaining.
Fun to read. Very enjoyable. Will read the series.
I love Angie she’s funny and writes a great story. The characters are sometimes kooky they are always looking for something. Her stories let you get lost in the world she builds slowly. It is a fantasy world with great people and sometimes mean or evil people. However she always works it out in the end. She writes continuing stories that build from one to the next one.
Need to suspend belief as her partner is a ghost but a fun book.
A ghost story with amazing and interesting characters. When a live person ends up dead, were the ghosts involved? A book that I couldn’t put down until I finished. Loved it!
An enjoyable, easy read, page turner. The main characters are silly and endearing. A cozy mystery.
Great fun with interesting characters, both mortal and ghostly. Will be looking for more from this author.
This was a fun read. It started to get creepy/spooky so I read it during the day. I like her characters; not so flawed that I want to stop reading about them. I’ve enjoyed this series so far.
Liked this wacky story. I was ready for the next caper.
Super read. Ms. Fox did it again!
I dont agree with world view but was interested to see how she handled trying to fix up life for the dead. Good switch to find bad guy from unexpected source.
I love this series, and this book didn’t let me down. Funny characters (really, they are quite entertaining), a bit of period atmosphere, and a good end.
I love this series and the relationship between Verity and her ghost partner Frankie just gets better with each book. This is a stand alone story that gets resolved, so you don’t have to read previous books in the series, but it helps to know how Frankie wound up haunting Verity and sharing his ghost powers with her. The romance between Verity and Ellis is coming along slowly but surely. The mystery part of the book is decent enough, and there is action and humor along the way. It’s a true cozy mystery that won’t take much of your time yet it’s well worth your time.
It is one of a series and after the first one I needed to immediately get the next one, etc.
Entertaining, fun read.
Suspenseful and a good read
I liked th characters and the setting. The mystery is good.
Didn’t finish – actually barely started it. I found the characters annoying, especially the ghost who didn’t add anything to the story and just seemed to be there as a gimmick.
Was enjoyable.
A great story a a haunted mansion! Didn’t figure it out which I love. Hate when I know how the book is going to turn out before you get half way though
