Since the death of his former partner, Tony Abruzzi, at the hands of mob boss, Vito “The Dragon” Dragonni, Cold Case Detective, Ronan O’Mara, has been a shell of his former self. Other than working his shifts at the police station, Ronan is going through the motions of life. The once vital and active cop is reduced to binge-watching trashy shows on Netflix to cope with his loss. Psychic, Tennyson …
Psychic, Tennyson Grimm, has a secret he’s been forced by the FBI to keep: Tony Abruzzi is alive. Barely eating or sleeping as he tries to cope with the guilt of keeping the truth from Ronan, Tennyson knows it’s only a matter of time before his friends stop buying the lies he’s telling to explain his restless nights.
When Tony appears to testify at Vito Dragonni’s trial, all hell breaks loose. Accusations fly about who knew Abruzzi was alive and why it was kept a secret from Ronan, who’s been struggling to come to terms with the “death” of a man he considered a brother.
Focusing on keeping their loved ones safe and bringing Dragonni to justice for his crimes once and for all, one question remains: Will Ronan be able to forgive Tennyson for lying about Tony’s death?

I loved how the story ended. Forgiveness and communication rule the day with love and friendship binding the community. Success for Pandora Pine again.
*WARNING* intended for mature audiences
I really like that these couples argue and fight like real world people. I like all the characters and how they’ve made there own family by choosing the members. I like the whole series! I would suggest that these be read in order just because previous events come up in the stories.

I really liked this book. With just weeks from the birth of Everly Erin, it should be the happiest Ten and Ronan have been but Ronan has finally worked out that Ten isn’t being completely honest with him, as he’s noticed that his husband has lost a lot of weight and not acting like himself. They discuss it and Ten gets Ronan to agree that he’ll at least give him a chance to explain and that if he doesn’t at least remember that this secret was kept to save Everly and Ronan. After Ronan realises that Tony is alive and that this is what Ten was keeping from him, he completely loses his sh*t which is completely understandable as he’s been deceived by those closet to him. He’s told by multiple people including Ten himself that he had no choice but due to his hurt and anger he doesn’t want to listen, he walks out on Ten after saying some extremely hurtful things. Ten, ends up being k*dnapped by Vito “The Dragon” Dragonni‘s men as Vito wants to use Ten’s gifts to find out where Tony is hiding so he can execute him personally since Tony is a rat. This book has a lot more angst than previous books but still has some extremely uplifting moments as well. I can’t wait to see what the gang is up to in the next book. I’d recommend this book, series and author to anyone.
WOW! What a way to break a heart and put it back together again. I approached this book with trepidation, knowing there were deep issues to deal with. Just as expected from Pandora Pine this was full of great characters, spirits, though not so much of Bertha and Erin. Someone got shot! My Goodness Ten and Ronan went through the mill. What else could possibly happen to this group? I can’t wait!

A rollercoaster of emotion, grief, betrayal, and redemption. A thrilling read!
I love Pandora’s work and if you haven’t read this series you need to! This is the 10th installment for Psychic, Tennyson Grim and Cold Case Detective, Ronan O’Mara. They are a match made in heaven and I’ve loved every one of their stories and this is no exception. This story is full of grief and guilt and follows on from the previous book and the death of Ronan’s best friend and former partner Tony Abruzzi. The way Pandora addressed the grief and guilt in this story was great and adding in her unique humor and you’ve got another winner. This one while as thrilling as the others, I felt held more emotion and relationship growth for Ten and Ronan. We also get to see all the characters from all the previous stories and the blessed family they have formed that only seems to keep growing. A very special little miss finally makes her arrival and I look forward to seeing how Ten and Ronan embrace fatherhood. Another great story by Pandora. A truly winning series!!

Grief, pain, and secrets. Tennyson and Ronan have traveled a long road to get to where they are and yet their struggles are nowhere near over. Tennyson’s guilt is eating him alive, Ronan’s grief is blinding him to life, and an old enemy isn’t through with either of them. When everything is thrown into chaos by shocking revelations Ten and Ronan will have to conquer the biggest hurdle they’ve ever faced if they hope to have the future both of them have dreamed of. And that’s only if they can survive the mortal peril an old enemy has in store for Ronan’s loved ones.
What draws me most to these men are that they’re real. I get angry with them, disappointed, frustrated. But I also am so involved in their lives that that’s the way it should be. Just because I don’t like where their journey takes them at times doesn’t mean I don’t wish damn hard that they come through stronger on the other side. At times they surprise me with their insight, maturity, and their hearts. And Dead to the World had me on both very different sides of the spectrum.
Ronan has his typical Irish explosion, and not without cause, but the words that spew from his mouth have me aching for Ten and angry that Ronan can be so willfully blind. But it’s when he gets advice from Kevin and Jude that he listens to his heart and allows his ears to open to the truth and the havoc Ten’s secrecy wreaked on him for lying to Ronan. With a view to right wrongs, to truly listen and hear, I’m floored by the changes in this man. Even without all the drama that followed I have every belief that he would have came to the right understanding sooner rather than later. Ronan’s temper made him an idiot, but his heart made him extraordinary.
The drama was big, as it always is with this crew, and in this case I think it was actually quite fitting. Issues that surrounded the case were touched on by an impassioned yet clear-headed Ronan that left me satisfied that someone noticed what was going on. Even if what happened to Ten was during his small lapse, it was his cool head that got them into a position that proved victorious. I was most impressed with Kevin and Jude. The way they handled Ronan was perfection. I was most disappointed in Carson and Bertha, actually. I didn’t agree with how they handled things even if I can absolutely see where they were coming from. In the end, it was everything about Ronan made this story the roller coaster it was and I’m so glad I stuck with this family. I’m absolutely crazy about them and cannot wait to see what happens next.
