I love getting my hands on a new Cassidy read because I know I will be settling in for a grand adventure. Her books are exciting, intense, and captivating. I am always in awe of her writing style and how easily I get swept away in the pages. This next installment of the Chronicles of Deadworld, Dead Sea, is no exception. Each book in the series is better than the last and this third story is off-the-charts. The complexity of the storyline and captivating characters is enough to keep flipping pages but when you add in the many subplots, the secrets and lies, the betrayal and shocking twists and turns, as well as the action, suspense, life and death, and of course, smokin’ sexy times, you just cannot get better than this.
It has been fascinating to watch Echo’s journey as she matures from a young lady happy to stay safe and secure in the Hive longing for a love that cannot be to the strong, fierce, independent young woman with powerful, sexy, determined men who will stand by her side. She has grown by many trials of fire and has come out stronger, more confident and determined to stand up and fight. Fight for the truth, to help correct the wrongs from their past, for her family and friends, for herself, and their very survival.
Many revelations come to light in this exciting third installment and it is non-stop action and excitement from beginning to end. Truths are revealed, relationships develop and change, new adversaries emerge, past secrets are exposed, betrayals are delivered, and emotional turmoil rolls in waves throughout the entire story. There are also some laughs to be had and snarky banter to enjoy. This book is, by far, the best of the series yet. I am really curious to see what direction Cassidy will take the story next. Some serious blows have been dealt in this book and Echo, as well as her men and the rest of the Hive, will have to band together in order to face the direness of their situation and the possible extinction of them all. Dead Sea is another great addition to the series and I am sooo ready for the next!
*I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily providing my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are solely my own.
Wow! I love this series! Every book gets better and book 3 was by far my favorite. So much happened in this book and not all of it was good. My heart broke for Echo but she is so strong. I am looking forward to book 4. Also, leaving us out in the dark with not knowing what is happening to Hunter was cruel and unusual punishment. I know he does’t do much but the things he does do are really important. I love Hunter. Please don’t kill him!
Another well written, fast paced and action packed read from this author! With a fab storyline both the world and the characters continue to develop and each book just gets better and better. With this being the third book I do suggest you read books 1&2 first and boy you will not regret it! Action, suspense, secrets, twists and turns and a slow burn reverse harem theme, this is a series I would definitely recommend!
Dead Sea is a middle book of the Dead World Chronicles and I strongly urge you to read Deadworld and Dead City before tackling Dead Sea. Although Deadworld is suitable for an older teen, Dead City and Dead Sea are definitely adult fare and each book takes a day to read. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
This is the third book in the series, and I am quite enjoying myself! Echo and her men are hot, and there is much hotness in this one. I do like the slow build-up with a couple of her men, and I enjoy the rewards of the ones that are explosive. LOL! Not only that, the plot going on with the Hive, under the sea, and the overworld is fascinating. I was so sad with some of the events at the end of this one, but I think they were a catalyst for how things need to change to get better (vague because no spoilers). If you are a fan of the author, you will love this latest. If you haven’t tried her yet, what are you waiting for? I highly recommend this book! I was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.
If you have read the first two books in this series and have fallen in love with the storey and are expecting it just to amble on then this book with shock the heck out of you in places, it will have you laughing at some things, fill you with joy as relationships blossom and then bitch slap you with a coupe of shockers as are just getting comfortable with how the storey is progressing. I can honestly say that I cant wait for book 4, I need to see where Debbie goes with this, how characters and relationships change and what other evil twist and turns her wonderfully devious mind has concocted.
I absolutely love this series of books, the action starts straight away, and the characters are well defined early on and blossom throughout the series, you can feel the tension building between the main characters and each book always leaves you wanting more. The sub plots plus twists and turns keep you surprised and intrigued. Be warned though once you start reading this series you won’t be able to put the books down so be prepared for some binge reading. Debbie Cassidy at her best!!!!!!!!!!!!
