I watched the Dead Poets Society years ago and loved it identical much. It is a movie that makes me smile whenever I think of it. I love every character, from John Keating to the students ; This is one of the rare films that I admire both the topic and the poets and authors it cites. The book impressed me angstrom much as the film. I felt like that unseasoned girl watching the movie again, and wanted to study at Welton Academy, take lessons from John Keating, and join the Dead Poets Society with my friends.
I wanted to read poems, to be myself, to partake, to feel and to live. It is a book that impresses people intensely and, incurably. Please read it, watch the movie right after and please suggest every young person around you to do the same. enjoy !
I went into the woods because I wanted to live intentionally. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the kernel of life. To put to rout all that was not life ; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
