I knew a few people like the main character Edwin Murphy who puts more time at work than spending time with his family. Edwin’s wife files for divorce and he could lose his home and daughter. I thought I guessed the rest of the story but there was a surprise at the end that I did not see coming.
Edurn Murphy was a newspaper reporter and when he lost his job his life became weird and scary. Couldn’t stop reading till the end.

Many twists in plot as it unfolds, but final resolution seemed contrived after a great buildup
The plot in this book was okay but it was poorly written. The book is long and confusing. There are too many characters and it was hard to keep them all straight.
I like the characters being followed as first person. Took a few chapters to catch on but the story was entertaining.
It was a little difficult to keep track of who was killing whom – and why!
Started off a bit slow but got better. A real page turner in the end.
Didn’t care for it.
Good book, read it in one sitting.
Edwin was elated to get by with the killing of his wife. It fueled his idea that he could do any crime and not get caught. The “just one more and there is no trail to me.”
This book was the first I read from this author. I found the book to be enjoyable, but when the story line became too predictable I lost interest. I did finish the book, but was not impressed with the ending. Even though I lost interest, you might not.
Not really my kind of book. To many twist for me.
Didn’t finish.
wasn’t my type of story. some of the scenes didn’t make sense to me.
It took me a minute to figure it out but was a real tangled web. The ending was satisfying
Wow, this could be a “how to kill and get away with it” manual.
Except what this story shows is that you never should try to predict another person’s responses or actions. So don’t try the same thing!
It was a very entertaining read.
It may seem like it’s bouncing from one character to the next, but stick with it and it all makes sense in the end.
Interesting concept. I enjoyed reading this book.
Way to many characters and slow action. I was not impressed.
Unpredictable, great characters, kept my interest
This is an interesting set of characters, well written, but the plot is not very original. I don’t think you would be disappointed in it.
