Dead and Gone finds Sookie smack dab in supe politics and a war with her as a target. The story has plenty of action going on. Though I like this series one thing I’ve noticed is the prose is stunted. There’s not much “meat” to the scenes other than this happened then this happened then this happened and so on. I wish these stories had more depth though they do provide hours of entertainment.
Sookie continues to get herself into one more bad situation after another not near as fond of vampires as she once was
Loved the series
Loves the series but this one was hard
A friend and my oldest sister gave me Charlaine Harris, Sookie Stackhouse Series and I binge read them one after the other. They were fun to read and my friends and sister compared what we liked about the series.
I read this 6/2009
This is one of my favorite series ever. I love all the characters. Was so sad when the series ended
Love this series
Another Skokie Stackhouse book. Keeps the narrative going. Fun as always. In some ways, better than the show. Is one you read in one sitting.
