I enjoyed this novel enough that I purchased the next book in the series. The Whistler series is original and manages to be tongue in cheek despite the subject matter. I enjoyed the wide variety of characters and the story-telling of the author. A few minor spelling and grammar issues but not enough to jar me fully out of the story. I’m hoping the rest of the series continues to entertain as this one did.
Paranormal fiction at it’s best
Well written and with a plot that gets you hooked. With ghosts, time travel and a cast of quirky characters this kept me engrossed to the very last page. Bring on volume two
Different book that held my interest. It had some really unusual twists. Editing was a little lax.
Took me a while to get into this but once it got going it held my interest the rest of the way out.
I enjoy the genre and thus enjoyed the story. Really needs some serious editing. I had to place the correct words, in my mind, into a sentence too many times.
An original premise. Fun and engrossing.
It kept me captivated from through the whole read
Horrible
Left me with lots of questions at the end. Did not understand the ending. Sorry I wasted my time reading this one.
Could not get into this book. Character not appealing. Download was flawed..
Spell checker is NOT an editor. This book sorely needs an editor, or at least a proofreader.
Too many grammatical errors. Story became confusing near the end.
Excellent read
This is a fast and fun to read book! The plot and characters are original.
I loved this book, but am sad that the rest of the books in the series are not available in the US iBooks store.
This story is original. I liked it. Never thought of the dead that way. I would have given it a 5, but there are some editing issues with proper tense of verbs, wrong words used, things that auto-correct doesn’t fix. I would recommend it with a caution about the editing.
Loved it.
Not really a fan. It started out OK and was interesting, but went downhill. I lost interest quickly. The story wasn’t progressing and nothing was being explained. By the time I made it to 25%, I decided to quit. There are better books to spend my time on.
Slow, Very slow. I didn’t have the patience to finish it.
Interesting concept!
