An interesting take on dragon mythology.
This was a good flowing story. Just enough going on to make it interesting without being overpowering.
Lacey was a well-rounded, intelligent career woman and Sebastion was the usual billionaire going through women like socks due to being burnt in the past.
I just wish we had heard a bit more about what exactly the ex-girlfriend had done and why his dragon had mistakenly thought she was his mate. A little bit of explanation would have been good.
Some excitement was thrown in and it was lovely to see some good sense being shown by the heroine in taking her time to think things through, not just accept his bad behaviour. This was a nice change from some of the books I have read lately where the heroine forgives without even an apology.
Hope book 2 is about Ash.
How can you find someone you really care for if you are prejudices against women. Grant you Sebastian had a very good reason to be that way. But you need to keep a level head when accusing someone of something. I hope he fixes it soon, and for his own good. “Stupid man”, oops did I say that out loud? I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
