An excellent, intriguing dragon shifter romance that definitely caught my attention and kept it until the last page was turned. There are some character crossovers from previous books in this series “Mystic Bay” but this book is complete & standalone. I found the story-line & plot very entertaining, well-thought out & written. The complex characters are interesting with a variety of traits and different sides to their individual personalities.
There is: a Geo-talent psychic (Kim), a determined dragon shifter with an attitude (Ian), unusual foxes, fairies, Geo-talents/crystal tuners, dragon shifters, witches, hidden caves, ancient curses, prejudices, family issues, magic, mystery, twists & turns, adventure, action, some danger, verbal conflict, misunderstandings, blackmail, transforming, amazement, love, happiness, some steam & a wonderful satisfying happy ending.
I enjoyed reading this dragon shifter romance & would recommend it to people who like to read this genre.
I was so happy to be back in Mystic bay. This series is always so well written and full of humor and sweet romance. This book has two hottie Dragon heroes and two smart strong lady’s for them to love. Each book in the series can be read as a stand alone but the whole series is awesome so just read them all.
Neither Kim nor Ian want more than a quick hookup, but Mystic Bay’s crystals have a different idea. They get their hookup, alright, but they get much, much more while being led towards a disaster waiting to happen. Meanwhile, another couple are dealing with their own struggles toward their happy ending. This is a fun entry to the Mystic Bay series with a satisfying end.
I received this story, this is my voluntary review.
Dazzled by a Dragon is fast-paced with vivid imagery. It offers drama, humor, and romance with a hint of intrigue. I appreciated the sibling bond between Alister and Ian. I was pleased with the dynamic between Alister and Raven, their interactions had me rooting for their happiness. I also enjoyed the connection between Ian and Kim, their banter kept me invested in their outcome. I absolutely adored all moments with Trixie- I couldn’t stop smiling at her actions. Definitely worth the read.
A captivating read from beginning to end! An exciting storyline that leaves you breathless wanting more! Sexy steam filled chemistry! Emotionally heartfelt, enjoyable and fun! One heck of a twisted, intense rollercoaster ride! An amazing must read!
Dragon shifter Ian falls through a hole in the ground and discovers the secret of the fox caves under Mystic Bay. By chance Kim, one of the keepers of the cave, finds him and magics him to forget his experience, not knowing that he is her destined mate. Crystal workers are not respected in Mystic Bay and normally Ian and Kim would not meet. But as fate has set its traps, it is inevitable. Ian remembers and blackmails Kim into marrying him to protect the knowledge of the caves .
But there is more to the story. Guided by a fox they find their try destiny and tasks.
Like all of the Mystic Cove stories, it is a highly entertaining story, again a unique way of not only finding one*s mate, but to persuade her to actually stay with him.
I received a copy of the book from the author – this is an honest review.
Once again we are visiting Mystic Bay and once again the dragons and other mystical creatures are running rampant in the town
This is primarily Ian and Kim’s story though we do get the bonus of Ian’s brother Alister and his love interest Raven. Ian is a widowed dragon shifter architect who is staring to have quite a few commission in Mystic Bay to the point that he is thinking of moving there. When he comes to visit his brother he goes for a walk before meeting him for dinner that is when the fun begins. He wanders into the Foxgrove Cave where Kim a geotalent who can “tune” rocks and crystals for other geotalents to use is busy working The powerful paranormal vibes knock him out to the point where he appears drunk and on top of that Kim also wipes his mind of the events. Now he doesn’t understand why he keeps dreaming about a particular woman and he is even more stunned when he meet her at Sully and Robin’s wedding and why is she avoiding him Will these two actually find true love or are they doomed from the start You will have to read to see. You also get the intriguing story of Raven and Alister .
an Drake designer extrordinaire as I call him is thinking about permanently moving to Mystic Bay as he is getting more and more jobs on the island. While taking a walk after playing with a cute little fox he falls down a hole dare I call it a fox hole LOL. While down there he explores and comes upon his mate Kim Fields a geotalent or as the uninformed call them twinklies. Things get hot and heavy down in the Foxgrove which Kim’s family has protected and kept secret. So Kim makes Ian forget better than she thought she did.
Thus begins another of Ms. Montrose’s stories. I don’t know how she does it but she always keeps me riveted with drama, humor and romance. Maybe she just has magic in her fingers that makes her stories come alive. I voluntarily chose to read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for this honest opinion.
Ian and Kim were both great characters and had plenty of chemistry and steam. Kim tunes crystals and Ian is a dragon. Lots in this story as Ian is affected by a stone and Kim doesn’t care for his attitude. Some cute foxes who seem to be more than that and a hidden cave. Loved the story and also enjoyed Robin and Sully having their day. Also Raven and Ian’s brother Alister also have their story. Lots still going on in West Haven and I still love this island of paranormals Loved it!!
As always, the author delivered a steamy yet sweet paranormal romance, bringing together two very different but very proud headstrong people to squabble into intimacy, love and matrimony. This was a fun little read and just what I needed to relax after my busy day.
