Talk about a killer world and unforgettable characters. Jessica Florence has sucked me into this series, and I can’t read fast enough to find out what happens next!
Officially kicking myself for how long it took me to read this series. The concept behind it is so different from anything I have found before and I loved it!
Draco has given up on the mission that was set out for him, too much pain and loss in his long life has led him to no longer make connections with others anymore. At least until Rose stumbles into his chicken coop one stormy night. Rose, an empath & her brother who can see the future, are putting together a group of others like themselves, others who have superpowers. They need Draco to join them to help them train themselves and the others the find along the way.
First off, I love Rose’s relationship with her brother. He is always doing these small things for her and it is really adorable. As an empathy Rosa has always been able to sense the emotions around her, something that stunned her sexual appetite, with others at least . That girl is a hidden firecracker and I was all for it! Draco is the one in this story who has the most character development, I loved seeing Rose break down those walls of his.
I am already onto the next book as I couldn’t wait to see what happens next!
This was my first time for reading for superheroes romance.. I was very excited since its a different genre of romance that I have read so far..
Draco is a mysterious man… A man with an unique of power… a man who have seen times and lost…when Rose appeared that morning.. He knew his life wont be the same.. She is his equal.. his reason to move forward again..
It maybe a slow burn romance, but the connection is touchy… transparant and smooth…
Its not a common heroes romance … the story flow without revealing too much… i hope to find out more in the next books
I just finished Hero Society Dawn and wow and I was very pleasantly surprised not because I didn’t think I would like it but I couldn’t believe how much I loved it. I’m your soppy romantic kind of girl and when Jessica Florence was writing this book I wasn’t sure if I would love it as much as her previous books.
Well let me tell you that I absolutely loved it and couldn’t fault it in anyway, yes its about superpowers and all that kind of Jazz but it had one kick a** story and I am so excited about it and for the rest of the series.
Rose was such a beautiful character who had inperfections on the outside but I am so glad Draco saw her for who she was. I loved Draco and he has lived a long live with so much heartbreak. I loved the connection of Rose and Phillip and thier relationship was awesome. The introduction to Aj was fantastic and even though he wasn’t a major character the author made him shine in his own way.
This book was full of love, action and an awesome storyline that will have so engrossed that you won’t even realise that you have read this book in one sitting. What a fantastic book from Jessica Florence and that cover just stunning.
I don’t want to give too much away, but even if your not a fan of supernatural, superpowers kind of books you still need to give this a go. I am so glad I did and can’t wait to read the rest of the series and meet another lot of characters.
Big 5 stars for this book
Lena’s Random Reviews
This Story is the first in what I feel will be an Epic Series. It is a story about super powers
And the struggle between good and evil. Not your typical super hero story though. The Author has added little twists to it, to make it her own. I love that and I must say, I’m hooked.
It does have steamy sex scenes so look out for those. For me it was the right amount of steamy though, just enough to paint you the picture, while leaving details out so you could fill in the blanks on your own. Not many books have that, I found that to be awesome.
Dawn is a great introduction to the rest of the series and I’m glad the author ended it the way she did. It didn’t feel rushed one bit and that made it awesome. I do not like rushed stories, so I’m more than happy this book isn’t one of them.
I really can’t go into the story without giving too much away. I truly feel I would ruin the story for readers if I did. However, trust me when I say, you will sadly miss out on a great read if you don’t read this book.
That being said, If you are a reader who loves superheroes, good verse evil or a not so typical love story, this book is definitely for you.
I can not wait for book 2, I’m very excited!
I give this story 5 Stars
