***A note from the author: I am so happy to be able to share Daughter of Time with you. I created Footsteps in Time and Prince of Time first, and only wrote Daughter of Time after so many readers wanted to know how the story began. Meg’s journey is continued in Footsteps in Time and Winds of Time. Happy reading!
“Sarah Woodbury is my new favorite author. Daughter of Time reminds me of Outlander and 1632, with a fresh twist. I read all the books in the After Cilmeri series in four days! Long after I finished the last book, the stories and characters stayed in my mind, and I kept wishing I could return the world Sarah so skillfully created. I can’t wait for the next book and the next …” — Debra Holland, New York Times bestselling author of the Montana Sky Series.

I don’t read much on time travel, but must admit, when I do I enjoy it. This was no exception. The bewilderment of finding yourself when you should not be. exciting.
The book abruptly stopped , instead of having an ending . Then asks you to purchase the next book in series . No thank you .
To compare this book to Outlander is false advertising. The only thing similar between the two books is time travel. In this book there was no character development as well as relationship development. The book also leaves you hanging at the end. I will not be wasting my time on the next installment.
It was slow. I didn’t feel like the characters were fleshed out. It would have been a DNF but it was an audio book and I powered through. Maybe it’s because it was compared to Outlander, and that is a gross overstatement of this books interest.
How could I not enjoy this tale of an alternative to the tragic fate of our last native Prince of Wales! Sarah Woodbury has created an action-packed world you seem to be part of. The landscape is lovingly described. Best of all, the story is full of dynamic characters, with Llewelyn at once haughty, arrogant yet brave and loving. It is quite …
Wonderful, page turning, time travel story. Anything Sarah Woodbury writes, is going to be rated high. You feel like you are present in any of her books.
Once I started I could not put it down
Excellent except it just ended. It shouldn’t take a series to finish a plot.
Great Time Travel series. Very well done, good research.
Reminds me of Outlander (though not nearly as long) because of the time travel. The characters are not run of the mill and made me want to read the sequel. The first book is better. I don’t normally review the books I’ve read because I really don’t like the grind them out very predictable storylines they use. This one was different than all …
I enjoyed this book because the characters came to life.
Great time travel book to medieval Wales. Like able characters and clever writing.
Didn’t like how it ended (cliffhanger obviously) and the other books in the series don’t sound all that interesting.
If you liked Outlander you’ll enjoy this book
I enjoyed this book very much. It was interesting how she adapted to going back in time. It was good that. She read a lot.
I’ve enjoyed reading this author and appreciate good historical research.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Looking forward to reading the second book in the series.
Love the book and I am almost done the series!
Can’t wait to read the next in The series as I am now invested in the lives of the characters
I love books about time travel and this one did not disappoint. Great read!
