***A note from the author: I am so happy to be able to share Daughter of Time with you. I created Footsteps in Time and Prince of Time first, and only wrote Daughter of Time after so many readers wanted to know how the story began. Meg’s journey is continued in Footsteps in Time and Winds of Time. Happy reading!
“Sarah Woodbury is my new favorite author. Daughter of Time reminds me of Outlander and 1632, with a fresh twist. I read all the books in the After Cilmeri series in four days! Long after I finished the last book, the stories and characters stayed in my mind, and I kept wishing I could return the world Sarah so skillfully created. I can’t wait for the next book and the next …” — Debra Holland, New York Times bestselling author of the Montana Sky Series.

Time travel….no way. So happy I read it anyway. It was excellent. Loved reading about olden times.
I love all the books in the series
Started off fast with action and a wonderful step back in time
I found the characters too simple and naive, the dialogue juvenile. It felt like the author had little knowledge of the time.
Not a fan of alternate reality books
I enjoyed most of this book, but the ending was a disappointment. It was like the author decided it was time to wrap it up and did just that with no believably whatsoever.
A fun read that was a time travel in part, I mostly don’t like these but it was very well written.
Totally derivative of Outlander, right down to the young woman warning a troop of soldiers about an ambush site, being considered a healer (she took first aid in high school), and some folks worried that she might be a spy. In this brainless novel, a 20th century, 20 year old woman and her 2.5 year old daughter in Pennsylvania slide off an icy …
Made me want to read more of this series by the author, so I’ve purchased the next two books in the series.
I would have given this 5 stars except ‘further and farther’ aren’t used correctly and it drives me nuts while I’m reading. It’s similar to a Diana Gabaldon novel so if you like Outlander, you’ll probably love this, too. I even bought the sequels. And, I appreciate that the romance parts are minimized. I’m not a fan of the romance genre. Thank you …
I enjoyed the characters and the history lesson. Fun in fantacy also.
Loved it!!!
Time travel. Has a good romance, but is more historical fiction than historical romance. Dense with Welsh names and places! But fans of 13th century British and Welsh history will enjoy–note is a prequel, I thought it ended perfectly but you will want to keep reading!
Evocotive
This story had great potential, but it ended so abruptly. I realize it was to continue the series but it was too jarring.
I loved this book..it was easy to read and the storyline was good…looking forward to reading the follow on book
I liked it.
A real change of pace read
The main reason I rated two stars was that there is never any kind of explanation whatsoever as to how or why these people travel in time. They just pop in and out at random and for another unexplained reason there are no other time travelers to compare their experience with. So no rhyme or reason just pop in and out ? Makes no sense
Everybody wants a Prince Charming and here’s one for real!
