The start of an amazing series.
Can’t tell you how many times I have read this series. They never get old and I always find little character nuances I didn’t notice before. The hierarchy/jewl rank confused me at first; but once I caught on, it helped me understand how certain people reacted to others. Fantastic story line. I think my favorite aspect is that the humor isn’t in your face, it’s more subtle and easy to miss if you don’t invest in the characters. Absolutely LOVE this book and the 2 that follow.
