Can a grieving alien warrior and a desperate mother overcome their painful pasts through the shared love of a child? One year ago, Jade’s husband was killed and the baby she had wanted for so long disappeared. She has been searching for her daughter ever since. Nothing – not even being abducted by aliens – is going to stop her. She doesn’t expect to find a daughter who doesn’t know her; one who … doesn’t know her; one who clings to a huge, green alien instead. Despite her own attraction to the older warrior, she will do whatever it takes to get her daughter back.
Inzen lost his wife and daughter many years ago in the terrible plague that threatened to destroy the Cire race. When his ship rescued a group of abducted women and infants, he willingly took on the care of one of the children.
Then a luscious human female appears, demanding the return of her daughter and he is faced with once again losing a child.
When danger threatens, can Jade and Inzen come together for the sake of the child they both love?
Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for mature readers.

Daughter of the Alien Warrior is book three in the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn.
This series is just too cute, sweet and endearing. I like this series because of how adorable the aliens are with the children. Their race has been decimated and now they focus on taking care of the future generations, even if they are a different race.
Jade lost her husband a year ago and her baby was kidnapped at the same time, but that doesn’t stop her. She’s strong, independent and courageous. I liked her determination. Inzen is an older Cire warrior retired and teaching the next generation. He adopted Lily, Jades daughter, and also another women who doesn’t have anyone. He’s so sweet, caring and protective. These two were cute. I love how they got their HEA.
Daughter of the Alien Warrior is a story about family, moving forward and love.
Rated: 4 Stars
Another great book in this series/world. Jade is a determined mother that just wants to find her daughter. She ends up finding out about aliens in the process. But one big hunk of an alien Inzen is not what she was prepared for. He is an amazing man and an even more loving father to her daughter Lily or Hana as she was before she was taken. They have a few bumps but they find their own groove. Until a monsterly alien from her capture comes back.
I guess I got hooked on the series. I read the first book and I have been purchasing and reading the entire series back to back. That right there should tell you it’s a really good series. I’m a little picky about my alien romance series that I read, especially if they’re just silly. But the aliens in this book, in the series, our everything we wish our human men were. They have come to know human females which they are saving after they are abducted by a different alien race and being sold. After a plague of sorts spread through the galaxy they are very few females, and earth is where they get them. The aliens are also interested in children. After 10 years of trying to have a child Jade finally had a baby girl and she’s been missing one year, bound and determined to get her back she has been watching and waiting. Now she’s on an alien ship closer than ever to finding her daughter. Inzen has taken himself to be the father of it baby girl and also a young female that they rescued. News has come to them that there is a human female looking for a child. Strange attractions happen in space. It has come known that his species and human females are compatible, but can Inzen and Jade going to make it work, and somehow become a family. This really is a good series, and it’s an enjoyable read, and the children just make it fun.
4.5 stars.
Not as long as I would have liked, buy by no means is this story a novella. Still within the same universe with excellent continuity with the bulk of the story taking place on Trevelor.
This time, we meet Jade who has been looking for her daughter who disappeared when her husband and her daughter were out for walkies. With her husband murdered and her daughter gone, she had devoted the following year trying to find out what happened. That’s when she runs into the Vedeckians (our favorite alien slavers!) who was in the process of abducting two mothers and their children. She’s dragged along, the slavers hoping that she’d be a profitable breeder. (Little do they know that she has had fertility problems and barely had her daughter but not without a ton of IVF and hormones! Talk about the last laugh!) She and her fellow humans are rescued at a slave auction, and she’s given the opportunity to continue her search for her daughter, hopefully one of the motherless babies abducted in Book #1. So she’s escorted to Trevelor by Inzen, the former chief engineer of the Defiance, in search of Hana who could be one of the two abducted infants now residing there. (Guess who’s legal guardian of one of them!)
Yes, it might be the awkward daughter-meets-true-mother-but-rejects-her scenario, but it works out better than what could had been expected. (Yay! I hate templated plot lines!) But I was pleased to see that the main characters (more than just Jade and Inzen) were wonderfully represented. Yes! We revisit characters from Books #1-2, and I appreciate the time and attention given to continuing character development and continuity maintenance.
The world-building focuses a little more on Trevelor, at Wiang more specifically, and how those who retired there from the original Defiance crew are doing.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Book #3 of the Treasured by the Alien series, and I’m glad that I have at least one more book to read! This series is definitely worth the investment of buying rather than taking advantage of KU because I know I’ll be rereading this series again and again because it’s enjoyable and a great fall-back when I’m in the mood to read something uplifting without having to take a risk with something unknown.
great read
*WARNING* story is meant for adult readers..
Wonderful characters. Great storyline. I like the mix of aliens. The main character is fierce, brave and determined. The main alien is sweet, intelligent, strong, and protective. It’s everything a SFR story should be with the HEA.
Another great story in this series! Jade lost her baby to alien kidnappers who also killed her husband. She would not give up trying to find her daughter. While she monitors the park where her daughter was kidnapped, two women with their babies and Jade are kidnapped. This is her chance to find her daughter. Everyone is saved by Cire warriors and then she meets Inzen who had adopted a human female baby a year previously. That baby is Jade’s daughter. They both have their pasts to overcome and find love together.
I have so much love for this book! I became addicted right from the start, and then I couldn’t let it go. There is a grittiness in this story, an obsessive kind of love, but it’s a good kind. I loved the characters, I loved the plot, I adore this writing duo and this series in particular. The writing is clear and descriptive and the characters are perfectly damaged enough to stay interesting. I started reading this book at bedtime and couldn’t stop until it was over. Jade is the perfect warrior mom who doesn’t quit searching for her missing daughter. Although she was a little bit wrong for how she used the other moms at the beginning, I kept thinking that maybe those two women would also get stories in the future too. She wasn’t going to be a victim, and she fought to save herself so she could save her daughter. Inzen was the most perfect dad ever, like a dream dad, and then he meets Jade and there’s more, so much more. I loved how Jade took care of the lost people in her life, but it wasn’t easy. Can you ever trust a good thing when you’ve never had that experience? The twist in the story renewed my interest in reading this one to the end in one sitting. You absolutely have to read this, it has so much going for it, and since I couldn’t put it down, I think you’ll feel the same way too!
This story is a little different because the heroine wanted to go wherever her daughter had been taken. She would do anything to find her. Once she is abducted then saved, she has to find a way back into her daughter’s life. This is more a slow burn but certainly worth reading!

The third book in the Treasured by the Alien series a well written story with a very good storyline the story flowed smoothly across the pages. I started this at bedtime and was not putting it down until I had finished it. Inzen lost his wife and daughter many years ago in the terrible plague, he has found a reason to live in the little human child Lily, he calls his own. One year ago, Jade’s husband was killed and her daughter was stolen, by Aliens. When she is trying to protect two women and their children they all get kidnapped. What happens when Inzen and Jade meet? There is suspense, drama, danger, kidnapping, evil, a Alien villain, and romance. I recommend this book. This story brings together an unlikely family. Chemist between the characters is not enough, they must learn about each other and recognize they need what the other can bring to the relationship.
This is a great read and a wonderful series. Book 3 introduces us to Jade. She’s tough, stubborn and determined and she’ll need all of these qualities when the truth of her daughter’s abduction comes to light. Inzen is a loving father to a foundling who fears the possibility of loosing her. These characters are well written and multi-dimensional in a well crafted storyline. Kudos to Honey Phillips and Bex McLynn for another winning book in the Treasured series. Enjoy!
Jade’s baby girl disappeared a year ago and she is on a mission to find her. Little did she know that her sweet baby was abducted by aliens! So Jade gets taken by the very same aliens and we see our old buddy Kwaret coming to her aid. Meanwhile, Inzen adopted a sweet baby girl with no mother. (Reference previous books in the series.) He lost his family years ago and he jumps at the chance to be a father again. When he hears there’s a mother searching for her little girl, he has to go to her. He doesn’t want to lose his daughter and he has to know his fate. I absolutely loved Inzen’s reaction to Jade when he meets her, and his wandering tail! And hey, I’m giving a shout out to Chapter 11! (Don’t miss it if you like your books hot!) When Jade sees her daughter, Lily, again for the first time it’s heartbreaking. Lily doesn’t recogize her mama. In order to find out what happens from there you’ll have to read the book!
This book was just amazing! Several times I wanted to run off with Inzen just for his tail… The level of heat and the sweetness in this book are just beyond compare. And there’s some fun stuff near the end. Can I just say that I want to crawl into this romance and live in that happy & steamy place? The Treasured by the Alien series just keeps getting better! Honey and Bex created the perfect sci-fi romance with this one! 5++ stars!
This well-written Alien Romance, book 3 in the Treasured by the Alien Series has great characters with depth and history. The story is good and I cannot wait until I see more books from this author. All the one I have read so far are very good. Must read

Exciting, and so romantic!
I really love these Treasured by the Alien Warrior stories! They’re filled with excitement, but are sweetly romantic. Sometimes that is exactly what I need. “Daughter of the Alien Warrior” is maybe the best yet! I can’t get over these big, strong Warriors with their frisky tails. You know exactly how they’re feeling about you – the tail tells all. Jade is an accomplished woman, well trained to defend herself and to care for her baby when she finds her. There is much to admire about her and she doesn’t give up. I love seeing Inzen with his little girl! She’s a sweetie, but takes advantage of daddy’s soft heart. Needless to say, there are a number of predicaments that arise requiring rescue. Jade and Inzen do not have an easy romance, but, it’s so worth the effort! Read and fall in love!
When Jade’s husband was murdered and her baby disappeared, her mission in life is to get her back. She never expected that it was aliens who took her child and that later, she would also be abducted. Being the kickass heroine she is, she fights back and is rescued by our hero, Inzen. You would think this would be her happily ever after, but just wait!
I really enjoy Honey Philips’ books. She brings a different perspective to the Alien Abduction genre. In this book (which is best if you read the other two in the series first) you learn how a mom of a kidnapped child goes above and beyond to find her. And you feel the love and heartache of an adopted father who might loose his daughter. (How is an alien the adopted father? Read the first two books!). I loved the perspective of the h, who was a bit more mature and the H, who had lost family before but was willing to take a chance.

This is first book in this series that I have read and so glad I did. This story is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. It was kind of a light read, that kept me interested and had adorable moments. With a wonderful HEA at the end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received an ARC for an honest review.
This is the third book in this series that I have read and I love them all. The concept of having human children figure so prominently in a scifi romance is original. I read a lot of this genre and what I love most is how sweet and attentive all the Hs in this series are not only to the children but also to their mates. However, they are still warriors! Also, got to love tails! I love how the tails seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to wanting contact with the female of their choice. I also enjoy that all the FMC are strong in their own different ways. Jade felt the need to become physically strong after her daughter was kidnapped. She refuses to ever stop looking for her. As a parent, this would be my worst nightmare. The author deals with the reuniting of mother and daughter in a very authentic way. It would be unrealistic for a child kidnapped that young to have strong memories of her mother. She lets us feel how this affects Jade. I love how Jade and Inzen eventually find their way in how to become a family. Although they don’t know each other really well, they fairly quickly learn to communicate with each other knowing that, like any relationship, misunderstandings are going to happen. I will definitely buy the next book in this series.
This book is a wonderful addition to the Treasured by the Alien series. It’s nice to see a more mature couple romance. If you like big hunky aliens and Earth women romance then this book is for you. You can’t go wrong with a Honey Phillips book.
