First mistake was falling for him.
Second mistake was sleeping with him.
Third mistake was getting pregnant…
Did I mention he was my boss too?
Falling in love wasn’t part of the plan.
I was simply supposed to bartend and scope the place out.
Until I got between the sheets with the pub owner, Patrick.
My boss was wicked hot. I held out as long as I could.
But eventually we couldn’t avoid it … couldn’t avoid it anymore.
Our passion was explosive.
And that forbidden act changed everything.
I wasn’t supposed to end up in his bed.
Or carry his child.
I have to keep it a secret. I had to run.
Years later, my little boy needs a kidney,
And I’m not a match.
I’m forced to return to Boston and tell Patrick he has a son.
The man I loved.
The man I left.
Who has no idea he’s a daddy.
He’ll hate me.
But he’s our son’s only hope.
What if he’s my only chance, too?
What if he could forgive me and we could be together?
It may be too much to hope for, but Patrick is the love of my life.
No one else could ever take his place.
The place I’ve been saving for him all this time.

WOW, this book is one fantastic read! It is a compelling second chance, enjoyable, emotionally deep, and interesting read. The story line is intriguing, gripping, witty, funny, and hooked me from page one. The characters are amazing and you will grow to love and root them. The secondary characters especially their parents and little Declan help to make this book the amazing read it is. Definitely recommended!

Sparks fly between Yancy and Patrick during her job interview. Patrick knew that it was probably a mistake hiring her when he wanted her so much but he did it anyways. Its not long before they give in to each other. However Yancy up and disappears on Patrick and he doesn’t know what happened or why she left. Now years later Yancy is in his bar again and has something very big to ask of him. Their son is very ill and she needs him to come and have some tests done to see if he’s match to help Declan. Patrick was angry but soon he knew that it didn’t matter he just wanted to be with his family. Will another secret Yancy has end things between them before they have their second chance?

I received this ARC from Bad Boy Update. Loved it! Patrick loved running the Irish bar in Boston that was his father’s but knows to keep pleasure away from business. He has kept that rule, until Yancy. She seems to be the perfect bartender and employee. Patrick allows their flirtation to go on until one night where he breaks his cardinal rule. Yancy can’t help herself, but now realizes that she cares for Patrick and therefore must run. Fast forward a few years and her son is in the hospital again, and needs his father….the one who knows nothing about him! Annie weaves a fantastic story filled with anger, guilt, drama, and a passion that never went away for either of them.
* First time reading author
I have to say I love these types of books secret baby, dating the boss and so on, but this one didn’t do anything for me. I didn’t feel any connection between Yancy and Patrick. It almost felt like you were walking into the middle of their story. I gave three stars just due to the fact that the story has promise, people will probably enjoy it, and I have a feeling this author will become really good in the future. This book just wasn’t for me.
Omg I absolutely loved Patrick and Yancy story. I was absolutely hooked from the beginning until the end and I felt both of their emotions and pain and struggles. This book was absolutely fantastic. This book is about second chances and finding forgiveness . When you fall for your boss and did the one thing you’re not supposed to do is sleep with him and finding out you’re pregnant with his child after you break his heart and yours but when your child needs his help can he forgive you for missing out 3 years of his life?
I can certainly assure you that Ms. Annie Rose is known for her romance releases, however, Dating The Irish Boss takes her talent to the next level (in my opinion).
Within these wonderfully written pages, Boston Pub owner, Patrick, meets his latest new hire, Yancy, and sparks instantly fly. Chemistry between them reaches a head, and after 3 months working together, they give in. This release is about what happens next. I commend Ms. Rose for this truly amazing & addictive book.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced readers copy of Dating The Irish Boss in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion. I couldn’t recommend reading this book as well as anything published by Ms. Rose more.
Fantastic Publication.
Yancy and Patrick had chemistry from the beginning but I could not relate to the story. It was not a bad read just not for me.

One night stand, surprise pregnancy, second chance all in one read! Patrick and Yancy have crazy chemistry, but she works in his bar. After dodging the feelings for some time, they give in, she panics and disappears. Four years later, she reappears with their son Declan who needs a kidney transplant. I would like to think Yancy would have brought Declan to meet his father regardless, but probably not. Patrick steps up in every way, building a relationship with his son and finding out why she ran. I love Patrick and Yancy grew on me. And, you can read for free with your KU subscription! Solid read
I received a copy of this book from Bad Boy Update and this is totally honest review.
I felt like Yancy was a spy at first. Going to different place to work and check out the situation so that her boss could sweep in and buy the place for a little of nothing. That was until she meet Patrick operating the family business. Yancy shows up one day and gets a job that was not posted. She charms the locals and was able to bring in more people. After some months she sleeps with Patrick and leaves town. You get a surprise nine months later. The kid has a rare disease and needs his father help. After many years she has to ask for help for her son. Patrick fell hard for Yancy and was willing to forgive her. He has a child that needs him and she has a story to tell. I don’t know why she thought she could get away with this. Things done in the dark will always find a way to the light. Patrick has a great heart. Annie your story keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work.

Yancy is hired by Patrick as a bartender at his pub. They end out spending one night together and then she disappeared. She comes back years later with a surprise and needs Patrick’s help. This is a page turning story that pulled at my heartstrings. This emotional read has believable characters and a great ending.
Dating the Irish Boss is a sweet and delightful read. I truly enjoyed reading about these two characters are wonderful. Its well written story and has a good storyline. Its a page turner and kept my interest throughout the story.
I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
Good Story line: From Poignant to Sensual Scenes
I found the way the beginning of this novel is set up was interesting; we are not exactly sure about the main female character, as she is cloaked in mystique. This story was original, a good hearty length and easy to read. The characterizations were well done, good detail and each distinctly different from the others.
For me the main male character was yummy due to his love of family, his steadfastness and all around good guy. The main female character appeared to be a flighty and indecisive person. There certainly are some exceedingly poignant parts of this story were I was pulling out the tissues. Then there were some sensual parts between the two main male and female characters. All-in-all, a good read.

Patrick owns an irish pub in Boston and when he hired yancy he knew he had feelings for her, yancy started at the pub under a ruse for months then one night gave into her feelings for Patrick but then she ran. Now three years later she’s back in Boston asking him to save their sons life. What will he do?

An emotional rollercoaster ride that will lead to happy ending. Yancy and Patrick work together. One night they sleep together. Yancy disappears the next day. Patrick is heartbroken. 5 years later, Yancy needs Patrick help in order to save their son. She also has to tell Patrick the truth about why she left. Will Patrick help her and their son? Can Yancy finally tell him the truth? Can Patrick forgive her for the time he wasn’t involved in his son’s life? This book will have you on the edge of your seat seat. You will want to finish the book in one day just to find out what happens. Good characters that are well written and developed. The characters have chemistry and are relatable. The story flows smoothly.

Patrick had no clue that when Yancy walked into his bar almost 5 years ago she was hiding a secret. Months went by without a hitch. Then one night, everything changed for Yancy, and she disappeared. Five years later and the now secretS are about to catch up with her big time and to someone so innocent in all of it. To set things right, Yancy reaches out to Patrick, but once he finds out the whole truth, will he be able to forgive her?
A very good book. Annie has a way of hooking the reader from the beginning to the end. It didn’t start off as I expected, but I loved the change up from books I usually read. I definitely would recommend it! You won’t be disappointed.

A fairly new author for me. I enjoyed this book. I loved that it was an emotional rollercoaster. The story is about Yancy and Patrick. Yancy applies for a job as a bartender at Patrick’s family’s pub. They have an immediate attraction. They get together and things are good for a while but she did not know she took something when she left Patrick, but now she needs his help saving her son, Declan. Lots of suspense, action and a good story.

Another of Rose’s excellent stories, all the tears and fears with the added cheers of a sickly but brave 3 1/2-year-old! What could be better? An Irish pub with a handsome dark Patrick running a business started by his immigrant grandparents. Yancy left Birmingham to go to school in Boston but got off on a wrong track that had her working for Patrick under false pretenses. Now near five years later, she must return to ask for a large favor. Thus begins a must-read plot!
The characters were both entertaining and enjoyable with drama and action to keep the story coming from the very beginning

Yancy is a young woman who is working for Nick, an opportunist who takes over struggling businesses at a loss. With this in mind, she applies for a job at an Irish bar that Patrick’s family has owned for generations. There is an instant connection between the two, but Patrick has a rule against sleeping with his co-workers. There’s a slow burn between them and after 4 months of growing closer, they can no longer deny their feelings and they act on them. Patrick is thinking that, perhaps, Yancy just might be the one. But, in the morning, she’s gone and without a word. She’s is back home with her parents in Alabama with her little boy, Declan, that she and Patrick share. Facing a life and death situation, she takes him back to Boston in hopes that his father holds the key to his future. Patrick’s reaction is heartwarming and so full of love. Delightful!
She has to swallow her pride and make some confessions…Will he be able to forgive her?
Dating the Irish Boss is the second book in the Holiday Romances series and tells the story of Patrick and Yancy. I really liked their story has it all – mystery, romance, deception, regret, sizzling chemistry and a sick child, Declan. It takes place at two different times, now and in five years.
I quite enjoyed this heartbreaking and heartwarming, along with panty melting, story.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
