I’m her boss.
Over a decade older.
This isn’t in the handbook.
She smells like strawberries.
And oozes with sin.
I never should’ve hired her.
She’s too young and beautiful as hell.
I’ll never keep my hands off her.
I want her so bad I ache for it.
But I know she wants it too.
The only thing worse than trying to resist her,
Is finding out she’s in danger.
Some asshole is stalking her.
Too bad he … her.
Too bad he didn’t factor me in.
Because once I’ve had her, I won’t let her go without a fight.
And I’ve never lost a fight.
She’s going to be all mine.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters are unique. Once I started I could not put the book down. Amelia and Carter she is being stalked he hires her and found out and fixed the problem, with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more with feelings, desires, passion and lust, erotic sweetness, sensational pleasures and heat from arousal.

The chemistry from the beginning is so tense and good! You want to smack them upside the head and just tell them to say what they are thinking but it would ruin there book (; I love how well KS writes that you get so into the book you don’t want to put it down.

This was a fun, heartfelt, and entertaining story. I liked it.
A riveting older man younger woman office romance that will draw you in from the first page! The story line is well written, fast pace, enjoyable, emotionally deep, and engaging with some ups and downs, intrigue, suspense, and more. The characters you will love and enjoy getting to know; the chemistry between them is amazing! Definitely recommended!

Okay but fell flat
Dating the Boss is the story of Carter and Amelia. This is not the first book I have read by this author but it is the first full length story. I am not sure the author has quite figured out how to do a longer length story, at least not with this one. I think this would have made a better short story that as fast-paced and OTT. Instead it was OTT and stretched out with a couple immature characters and a lot of angst and back and forth between Carter and Amelia.
I found myself easily putting this story down. So in the end I thought the story was okay but it did not work for me.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
A sweet romance with a bit of misunderstandings between Amelia and Carter. Eventually they resolved everything.
I did love Carters brothers that sometimes seemed a bit older Then their big brother.

When Amelia got a job working as Carter’s secretary she never imagined he would become her protector too. This is a well written story filled with drama, angst, danger, intrigue, steam, unexpected twists that kept me reading and a great HEA.
Amelia needs a job and Carter is looking for a secretary for his shop, fate has a perfect plan. Carter is about ten years older than Amelia but that does not stop the chemistry or attraction that these two have for one another. Neither one wants to cross the professional line but when Amelia needs help, all lines disappear. I found myself drawn in to the story from the beginning. I really enjoyed reading and getting to know these characters and see their story unfold. I sure would like to see this turn into a series with some of the secondary characters having their stories shared. Enjoy!

This isn’t a bad story, I found it to be slightly slow, there was too much angst between Carter and Amelia, for being an older man, he was incredibly indecisive about what he wants, Amelia was immature at times and their is she/isn’t he thing got annoying at times.
I liked the storyline, bikers are always a good bet. The secondary characters were great, I loved the twins.
Delightful
Amelia and Carter meet when she goes to work in the motorcycle shop he and his brothers run. He is immediately attracted to her but fights it until they learn that she is being stalked. Will they catch the stalker before he can harm her? Compelling characters and interesting story make this a delightful read.

Wouldn’t mind a little bit of older man if he looks like that model on the cover phew.
An engaging and exciting read that you can comfortably read in one sitting. Am loving the vibe of the group of bikers and how they rallied against Carter at his hour of need.
Hope we get to read more about the other characters soon.

I really liked this book. First time reading this author but I will read more from her. Carter and Amelia were at times so insecure and sent mixed messages to each other. I understand why but I wanted to scream Just tell the truth. I highly urge you to read Dating the Boss by Kate Swain.

Not a bad read. No surprises or major plot twists, but an overall nice way to spend an hour or so!
Good characters and motorcycles and an HEA!!
This author writing is fairly new to me although I have enjoyed her previous book this newest release was just an okay read for me. I actually want more of the secondary characters that is introduced in this story instead of the main characters. You can see that Carter and Amelia’s character want to connect but it always seem to fall short leaving their chemistry to fizzle at several point. Not sure if Amelia’s character is just too innocent or if Carter is just really afraid to get into the dating world but what happens between them takes too much effort. Overall an okay 3.5 starts read but I wasn’t wow as I wanted to.
Trust me when I say, I really wanted to enjoy this book. I liked the premise but the execution falls short for me. I found the characters, Carter, the older shop owner and Amelia, the shop’s new receptionist to be idiots. They are not rational mature adults. They both give off mixed signals about each other that is too confusing to process and the whole push/pull, hot/cold act is overplayed. Even the story’s drama beyond the “romance” seems unrealistic. Amelia isn’t smart about the troubles she’s having and Carter’s selfish thoughts throw any good sense out the window when it comes to helping her with them. To top off the dislike I have for Amelia, she makes some extremely selfish plans that are completely unacceptable in my view. I try very hard not to give spoilers but, I will say there is a happy ending in spite of it all.

Tender while being exciting and suspenseful.
Good romance which is a simple scenario at first, but ultimately which is exciting because of the relationship between Amélia and Carter her boss. Between the professional bond and their age difference, this relationship is pushed back for a long time, but, in addition, there are the threats hanging over Amélia and for which she had fled the family home.
The story is well written and has some twists and turns, although a part is predictable.

This is a really good storyline. It held my interest from beginning to end. The book has everything that makes for interesting reading, angst, fun, laughter, tears, suspense, heat, family, love and an HEA.
The characters are so fascinating that you become involved in their emotions as the book progresses along. I would have absolutely no reservations about giving this book a 5 STAR rating.
