Dating Preston Charming is the second book in The Princeton Charming Series. And it picks up right were book 1 left off.
I’m loving this series each book comes out. Spencer and Charlie are trying to deal with dating and everything is going wrong for them. No one is approving of them being together and things start to slowly unravel in their relationship. Once again this series is full of emotions and angst. I can’t wait for book 3 to see what happens.
The start to part two of this series is one of deep sorrow and hopelessness for the main female character. In tandem with these issues, the relationship between herself and the main male character starts to develop with more depth. Additionally, there are also a number of negative happenings at school for the main female character: sinister threats, class distinctions, name calling and social media bullying. Her plate is indeed overloaded. However, in all this, she is still deeply worried about her Mom, her parents’ finances, her job situation, and oddly enough, concerns about her grades, as she is in college after all. She would get along well with Linus from “Charlie Brown” as they both seem to have a black cloud following them around.
In contrast, overtly, the main male character seems to have a golden cloud following him around. However, the main male character also has some very difficult situations he is trying to navigate through. He perpetually deals with his family, so, similar stresses as the main female character but at the other end of the spectrum. The oppression he feels is one of parental expectations without any regard for his individuality, lack of respect and their hierarchical thinking. He also really misses his elder brother. His group of friends also embrace the same lifestyle and attitudes as his parents. He is trying to wend his way through a mine field full of expectations, both from his family and from his group of friends. His support system seems pretty non-existent.
All of the above seems like a pressure cooker full of one too many situations and as a result is ready to explode. Book 3 of 4, the next book in the series, will hopefully untangle and eradicate some of these issues currently facing the main male and female characters. Otherwise, I feel they will be going through myriad of “Bounty” trying to soak up all the messiness surrounding them both.
Engrossing read. Very high entertainment value.

Wow, what a fantastic book!
This is book two in this suspenseful romance series. Please be sure to read Kissing Princeton Charming before reading this book.
With Spencer and Charlotte (Charlie) finally deciding to officially date, things start heating up with the stalker that’s been bothering Charlie. Things around Charlie are out of control, she’s not sure who to trust anymore. Even her boyfriend is lying to her and it seems he cares more about his public image than he lead her to believe. With Spencer’s ex-girlfriend, Winslow, doing everything she can to sabotage their relationship, I’m not sure if Spencer and Charlie are going to make it. This is such a great story and I’m looking forward to reading book three, Losing Princeton Charming.

Cant wait to see how things continue with them back on campus.

3.5 star review:
Second part of the series of Prince Charming. It is well written but I expected a bit more depth to it. A lot of questions is thrown in the air and I am waiting for the answers. It is an entertaining read and things keep coming at the main characters.
I think the first part was a bit better than this one but I am excited to see how it turns out.
You will need to read Kissing Princeton Charming before reading this book. This story continues the saga of Charlotte and Spencer. Charlotte goes home for Christmas break. Her mother is ill and the cancer has returned. Spencer shows up at her parents house and Charlotte is excited to see him even though she knows it can’t go anywhere. Spencer wants to try dating Charlotte. Even with their differences, he wants a chance with Charlotte. Charlotte has her misgivings but decides maybe they could try to date. This causes so much talk on campus. His parents don’t like it and most of his friends don’t like it and the threatening notes to Charlotte are getting worse and worse. Plus there is a brick with a note thrown through her window at the dorm. Can these two beat the odds or will it be too much for them to even try to have a relationship? This ends in a cliffhanger so you will need book 3 – Losing Princeton Charming. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’d like to give this story 4.5 stars, leaving the half star off just because it ends on cliffhanger, like the first book did. The story picks up where the first book ended with our heroine, Charlie, dealing with her mother’s sudden health setback. She leaves campus without telling anyone but her roommate, which has our Hero, Spencer, wondering where she is. Charlie’s roommate, Daphne, won’t tell Spencer either, fearing the campus playboy is using her roomie and will end up breaking her heart. Spencer isn’t easily deterred and manages to track a surprised Charlie down, and they have an opportunity to spend quality time together, away from his pretentious Princeton friends who believe Charlie is just after Spencer’s family money.
On top of these issues, Charlie continues to receive anonymous warnings/messages to stay away from Spencer. Is the mystery person concerned about Charlie’s heart getting broken? Does the person want Charlie for him/herself? And/or does he/she think Spencer is too notorious for sweet Charlie? These questions will not be answered in this book, but the romance between Charlie and Spencer is sweet but constantly tested.
Dating Princeton Charming was an addictive read that just kept getting better as Charlie and Spencer’s story continued. The chemistry between them leapt off the pages even though their worlds could not be farther apart. The tension and suspense of trying to unravel everyone’s true intentions kept me hooked. Just as I started swooning from the sweet moments they shared something would happen and the deck would be stacked against Charlie and Spencer once again. This series has become quite the captivating read and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for these two next.
This takes up where it left off on the story of Charlie and Spencer. Charlie is home now trying to help her mother that isn’t doin well. Spencer and Charlie come from different background but it doesn’t matter so much to them as it does others around them. Spencer knows that he wants Charlie and he is willing to do anything to show her and that’s why he shows up at her home to explain everything. However with so many against them being together will they ever have a chance?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover. Warning this is a series so it ends with a cliffhanger leading into the next book.

The story of Charlie and Spencer continues in dating Dating Princeton Charming. The story picks up where the last book left off. It’s Christmas and Charming is not going down without a fight. Charlie’s life is a mess, she’s lost her job, her mom doing bad and she doesn’t know where her and charming stands. The only good thing is that she’s with her parents right now, something she’s desperately needed. Charming showing up at her doorstep is just what she needed even if it did surprises. He not only clears everything up but it gave him the chance to show her that he’s in it for the long run. Troubles continue for these two. Is there love enough? Is it better to just let go and move on? Or should they fight for each?
Overall rating 3.5 stars
Charlie and Spencer are trying their hand at making a go of it. Charlie can see the obvious the troubles that could lie ahead in getting into a relationship with Princeton’s golden boy. If it weren’t bad enough to deal with his lip gloss past, she also finds herself the star of a smear campaign. She wishes that her relationship would stay in the bubble of just her and Spencer, but that’s just a fantasy. Spencer has never once felt for anyone what he feels for Charlie. She just had this real quality that speaks to him. Now if only get everyone else to see that quality and stop trying to come between them. The differences that separate them, just might end up doing that…
I found this book to be a very enjoyable read with the well written storyline and characters that were so well developed that I ended up reading this book in one sitting! It is always a joy to read what this author writes!
I would encourage you to read book 1 because this one starts right where it ended. These two are at it yet again.. I swear I love them but they really need to figure out their lives especially Spencer. He needs to figure out what he wants and if its Charlie, then he needs to tell his parents where to shove it. He hasn’t really healed from his brother’s death and his friends are just using him for connections. They are just jerks. They hate that he hanging out with Charlie.
Charlie, on the other hand, I love! She knows what she wants but still worries will she be good enough for Spencer. She pushes him and that’s a good thing but it doesn’t stop his friends from voicing their opinions and butting in to where they don’t belong. This book has drama like you wouldn’t believe. Everybody is coming out the woodwork in this one including her roommate and Tatum. It’s a crazy whirl wind of a ride! I believe that Spencer and Charlie can make it work, they just need to work a little harder at it. They need to come out of their bubble and realize there’s a real world. I liked this book and can’t wait to read book 3.
In this book Spencer and Charlie are getting to know each other which is hard, as it looks like everybody is against their relationship; some because of jealousy, some because of interest and some because of hate. Even though most of the secondary characters are awful, they are vital to the story. They help to create the suspense and mystery because we don’t know what to think about them.
I can’t wait to know what happens next.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
(Review with spoilers)
Second book in the series. I loved it.
I loved the tender moments that Spencer and Charlie share, how they get to know each other, how they discover details that they didn’t know. They barely know each other before.
It hurts to see how everyone opposes their relationship, how almost nobody supports them, how they only have themselves, and even that’s not enough, because they don’t get to be completely honest with each other. Both hide things, both lie. They don’t want to hurt each other, they want to protect each other, but that doesn’t help their relationship.
Ava supports them, but she is the only one. Also a couple of Spencer’s friends, but the others, and Charlie’s friends, not. But at least Charlie’s friends aren’t as cruel to Spencer as Spencer’s friends are to her. Working people have more class than rich people.
I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.
And the story continues.. Charlie and Spencer continue to struggle through their relationship. The problem is it between the two of them but just about everything else outside of them. Family and friends continue to tear them apart..
This is the 2nd book in this series. While still dramatic and passionate, it’s definitely a lull compared to the first book. But there’s is a sense of a build up and I’m excited to see where this goes. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.
