WARNING!
Dangerous curves ahead… dance studio,
I didn’t plan to let things get wild, to take her
Right there up against the wall.
She’s forbidden fruit.
I’ve had a taste. I want more.
But I have to stay away. She’s off-limits.
Then a drunken mistake makes my bad reputation worse.
She won’t even look at me.
And my mistake has put her in danger.
I’ll do anything to protect her.
Her and the little secret I just found out about.
Nothing will stand in my way.
Not her brother who wants to beat my ass.
Not the crazy ex who won’t leave me alone.
She’s mine.
And so is our baby.
I’ll prove it to her anyway I have to. I protect what’s mine.

The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Remarkable job Kate, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
Mark is a bad boy. He never has the same girl twice. Maddy has been in love with Mark since she met him. Adam, Maddy brother, has a problem with Mark dating her. One night, they sleep together. A few nights later, Mark gets drunk and another girl takes him home. The characters are relatable and well written and developed. The story flows smoothly. The love between Mark and Maddy just floats off the page. I am glad with the way the story ended.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Kate Swain is a relatively new author to me but I am already a big fan. This book continues with the same people from the previous book, Dating the Boss. They are standalone though. This is Mark and Maddie’s story. Adam was Mark’s best friend but he knew Mark was somewhat of a playboy and warned Maddie to stay away from any entanglement with Mark. However, Love can and will find a way.
