Fabulous fun! One of my favorite books of the year!
A hilarious take on the Jane Austen classic Pride & Prejudice with The Bachelor TV show mixed in. Funny and entertaining. Book 2 is a continuation of the story, so beware that the story doesn’t end in this book.
Fun story.
Pride and Prejudice meets the Bachelor?! Yes, please! I would SO watch this over and over if it were turned into a film (yes, Hollywood, please do!). This is the first in a fantastic series that I could not put down.
Bridgerton meets the Bachelor but on the page. This was a frothy, light-hearted frolic of a romance, and I enjoyed it immensely!
Emma is set to get all the attention for the sport wear brand she and her friend Penny are building together. She is even entering a TV reality show to make Mr. Darcy fall in love with her. But happens when Mr. Darcy is not the snob, rich guy Emma think she is? Will she develop feelings for him even if they are opposites? A funny and sweet love story.
Dating Mr. Darcy by Kate O’Keeffe was such a fun book!
Lots of humor, vivid descriptions that make you feel like you’re right there, interesting characters, and a unique plotline.
This was one of the few books I’ve ever read where I can’t find a complaint in either of the main characters, too. I only disliked the people I was supposed to dislike. ::: looking at you, Camille, and you, Hayley:::
I got to the end and discovered there is a sequel. I’m hesitant, though, because I don’t want anything to spoil the wonderful mood this book put me in.
Go. Read it. You won’t be sorry!
I love all of Kate’s books and this is no exception. Well written and fun, this book will have you up through the night to finish it!

This is the first book in what looks to be a fantastic series. It is also my first experience with this author so I didn’t know what to expect and am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. The story captured my interest right from the very beginning and I was hooked all the way through. I liked the concept of a dating game meshed with the reference of Pride and Prejudice. A fun and unique twist on a classic and a favorite. A lot of laugh out loud moments and witty banter made this a really fun read. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one in the series.

Emma and Darcy ‘s Story! Their story is a modern retelling that I really enjoyed reading! I can’t wait to read more!
First, this is a SWEET romance – no further than kissing.
The book was laugh-out-loud funny. Emma is very witty with her internal monologues and the secondary characters are clever too. The ‘Lizzies’, aka bachelorettes, are varied and Emma stays an enjoyable character throughout the cattiness.
The reality show premise is done well. I actually love the idea of a show called Dating Mr Darcy, and would love to try my hand at dressing up Regency-style…minus the bloomers.
I wondered how they were going to resolve the ending, and I found the twist very satisfying.

Its been a while since I laughed so much while reading a story. I loved the reality dating aspect to the book and Sebastian was definitely drool-worthy! Emma was so fun and feisty, she absolutely stole the show for me. I did find it weird that she went on the show at first for the sake of her company, but once she started to interact with Sebastian all my hesitation went out the window and I was lost in the story. I highly recommend this story, especially if you are looking for a laugh out loud rom-com.
