Win a Date with a Billionaire!Everyone wanted me to enter. The reason I shouldn’t? I was a walking, talking, dating disaster. My name’s Marika. I ran a coffee shop in a small town. Things were fine until that fancy resort, The Blue Spot, that catered to the wealthy moved in down the road. They stole all my customers with their posh coffee shop open to the public. How could I … open to the public.
How could I compete with the rich and powerful? Perhaps if I entered their Win a Date with a Billionaire contest, I could win enough money to help my business. I wouldn’t tell them about my horrible dating history or especially about that one guy who ended up in the hospital. They didn’t need to know that, did they?
As a VidTube star, most people had heard of me. I was Jokin’ James. Everyone except the woman I was falling for, Marika. I had been coming by her coffee shop for almost a year, but she had no idea who I was or that my brother owned the resort that was stealing her customers.
We were friends, but I wanted more. I was all ready to ask her out when she entered the contest my brother was running. Not only that, but the resort wanted me to be a part of the contest. Now she would discover that my family owned The Blue Spot. And worst of all, that I wasn’t from that small town at all. That I was a celebrity billionaire.
A sexy, funny, small-town billionaire romance involving mistaken identity, dating disasters, and a picnic so bad even the bees left in fear.

Super cute romantic story! This is a definite page turner! Must read in the romance department!
I liked that Marika was a little awkward, but sweet. I loved that she was loyal to her family and to her friend/employee, even though she was struggling. The poor woman had her dating struggles and was easy to relate to. I loved that James was loyal to Marika and her business, even though he was part owner in her competition. Their relationship was a little different, especially with Marika being in James’ family’s contest, but I liked that she finally got her HEA in all things.
Marika owns the coffee shop in town that has been passed down from her dad, but due to the new hotel’s high end coffee and her lack of marketing skills, her business is suffering.
James Diaz has been coming to Marika’s shop whenever he’s in town, but he’s still to tell her who he is or his relation to The Blue Spot and when she tells him she’s entering the contest organized by the hotel he just knows it’s a matter of time until she finds him out.
This book was fun and entertaining, but I had a tough time with the characters. I expected James to be what I call a lovable jerk, but at the end of it all I felt he was just a plain, spoiled jerk I couldn’t find any love for and Marika didn’t manage to rock my world either. Unfortunately, this made the book passable but nothing memorable for me.
For someone having her own coffee shop Hard Grind that her Dad turned it over to her to run, she is a bit of a negative nelly about not only boosting business but also her love life (to be fair her dating history is a bit tragic lol). The fact she hadn’t a clue who James really was for so long cracked me up but also sweet and now due to someone’s great idea things are going to change one way or another for the both of them not just business wise but also their personal relationship. There are some totally awkward moments, hilarity as well as frustration, family you want to either hug or strangle and attraction that can’t be ignored. This is a great book to get lost in and I soo can’t wait to see how things play out for Monty in the next book!!
This was a sweet funny read about Marika and James. Loved their banter and interaction. Their friendship was so genuine and true. I loved how light hearted and hilarious this story was. I couldn’t stop reading until I finished this wonderful, laugh out loud, beautiful love story. Great start to a new series.

Dating Disaster with a Billionaire
Elizabeth Lynx
This book was so good and sort of seems to be tying two of the author’s series together. We get to see Micah again, as he is the one who sells his coffee to the Blue Spot, and we get to revisit this amazing resort that we first met in Burning Love. Marika is the local coffee shop owner, but her business has plummeted and is next to nothing now that The Blue Spot is open. James is part owner of the Blue Spot with his brothers, and is a VidTube legend, a billionaire, but he tries to just be the guy next door when he’s with Marika. She has no idea who he is, but he knows he likes her. This story has funny parts, some steamy scenes, and also has some serious moments. You learn more about everyone’s past and lives. Marika and James are adorable together, and he goes to big lengths to show how he cares and how he is growing and changing. This author never disappoints me, and I absolutely love reading her books. If you’ve read her before, you know how great she is! If you haven’t read her, I suggest you try this one on, and if you like it, run and pick up more of her books.
Oh, I love this book I laugh so much throughout that the book…Malika try everything she can to save her coffee shop..that she join a join a contest… it win a date with a billionaire.. but at same time there a guy that come in regularly in the shop that show her interest in her . She does find him cute . What Marika doesn’t know James his co-owner of blue cafe that been hurt her business and a video blogger and that he a billionaire…how will this all turn out when she find out …it a much read book ..hurry’s and get this book you won’t regret
This book was adorable and so much fun to read! James and his brothers have a very interesting ways of dealing with each other and problems. They all had to step up in ways after the lost of their parents Rock, the oldest, became the parental one, Monty was the more understanding one and a little more compassionate and then James, who I feel still has a lot of growing up to do. He does his Vidtube videos, which help made him a billionaire but he falls in love easily. When they open up their coffee shop in the same town as Marika’s, she feels the pain. James acts like a normal guy around here and I was surprised with how quickly he had to own up to the truth. I mean I’m glad he got it done and over with because so many stories, wait until almost the last minute and has to do a grand gesture to get the girl back. James didn’t. He had her best interest at heart throughout this contest and helped her get her business back on track. These two have some steamy times together and some sweet as well. I loved how well they worked together. I laughed a lot in this book especially with Marika, her best friend, her dad and the dog Bernard. This was a great book to read! James and Marika have a great relationship together
Marika and James what can I say about them.
Marika is a coffee shop owner struggling to get by and James is a millionaire trying to keep his identity a secret.
But secrets have their way of getting out.
This was a fun book. There were funny and serious parts.
A cute and sweet book about the coffee shop owner and the billionaire. Loved it!!
Marika and James were cute and fun. Marika does not have a great dating record. Meaning she is not particularly good at it. Something disastrous usually comes from it. James is a regular customer at Hard Grind when he is in town and it is not for the coffee. He has his reasons for visiting Hard Grind when he is in town but mostly because Marika has no idea who he really is or who is family is.
Their story comes together beautifully and hysterically throughout the book. The writing is fun, and the scenes fit perfectly. The chemistry is scorching and worth the wait. I cannot wait to read more in this series, especially the ones that involve more of these billionaire brothers. I really enjoyed this book.
This book was so hilarious and yet super cute all at the same time! I loved how steamy it got at certain parts and then how it got somewhat serious. I honestly wished it were longer or at least had an actual epilogue. I was hoping for a longer/better ending though. Overall, very good read!
You can always expect a good read from this author!! LOL moments throughout the entire book, great secondary characters, easy to read, awesome chemistry and banter, steamy and keeps you invested from start to finish. What else can you expect from a great book!! This one should definitely be on your read list.
This was a cute funny book. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I liked how light, sweet and funny this book is. Takes you to a different place if you need to get out of your head
Super cute love story! Plenty of laughs and lots of steam. I really liked the main characters and this book was an easy read without too much angst. This was my first read by this author and I will definitely read her again.
Dating Disaster with a Billionaire is a fun, sexy romance and James and Marika are likable characters. Laura and Rock from Ruining a Billionaire’s wedding make an appearance, too. The writing is great and the story is entertaining. It’s a very enjoyable read.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
This was a great book. Easy ready, lots of laughing.
Marika is a coffee shop owner whose business has been hurt by the opening of a resort for the rich and famous with the best coffee sold to the public. James is a billionaire, has a successful video channel and part owner of the resort with his brothers. He has been visiting Marika’s shop monthly on his visits to the resort and has a crush on Marika. She enters a contest the resort has to win a date with a billionaire because she needs the prize money to keep her shop open. These two are in for a roller coaster ride. I found both of the characters immature and childish but hopefully they can work things out.
