Contains characters introduced in Bridal Pact and Bridal Bonds. Can be read as a standalone although reading the series gives more understanding of the characters. Warrior Dathrow has been waiting for a human bride for eons. When his first match falls for one of his warrior brothers, Dathrow’s anxious to find her replacement. Discovering he not only has a match, but one almost identical to his … original bride, Dathrow counts himself lucky. Pixie has the perfect life on Earth–until everything falls apart. And her sister Poppy is living in marital bliss with her space husband in a galaxy far far away. Why not join up? In the bridal program and matched with Dathrow, Pixie can’t believe her luck. Tall, gorgeous, and the way he fills out his leathers? Wow. But discovering Dathrow’s original match was Poppy, and worse, finding evidence he’s still in love with her threatens everything. Reader Advisory: This story has graphic sexual language and scenes–no closed bedroom doors (or other rooms) here! An adult science fiction romance from Ellora’s Cave

Sometimes I just crave something crazy that I can’t even relate to and I am just starting to read these space books, where there are aliens in and I am starting to like them more and more.
At the beginning of the book you read about Pixies life how it goes and sees the things that make her signup to the bridal project where she will get married off to an alien warrior just like her sister did (Book 1). I totally get why she did it. All she wanted to do was get away from her cheating (ex)boyfriend, the life she couldn’t recognize and she missed her sister so much you could feel her pain.
But already at the beginning of the book you also read about the ”secret” that will be kept from Pixie from the beginning and you just know at the beginning this shit will blow up at some point. So I could figure out the plot of this book so easy and I was just sitting patiently waiting on that moment throughout the entire book and at some point, I actually worried the author forgot about the drama she started at the beginning of the book.
Dathrow is a sweet man (considering he is an alien warrior). I liked him from the beginning but because of the ”secret” he kept I was a little annoyed with him too because he was so smart and thinking about everything to make sure everything went smooth in their new relationship and then he was stupid enough to not tell Pixie his ”secret”.
So can you live with a book that is easy to see what will happen but still keeps you a little on your toes because you don’t know what will happen when it all explodes. Plus get some hilarious sister humor, some hunky men and some steamy sexy time then I will recommend this book.

Enough steamy scenes with spunky space order bride heroine and hunky alien hubby to make it an easy read. Part of a series but easily also standalone
a great read, great series
Dathrow, a Phaeton warrior, has been waiting for a bride to call his own and to start a family with. When his first match fell apart, he was forced to wait once again for the woman of his dreams.
Pixie had the perfect life – an amazing job and a wonderful boyfriend …that is until her life and future dreams come crumbling down. She decides to pick up the pieces of what is left of her life and signs up for the bridal program. Her sister Poppy found love and happiness through the program, so why couldn’t she?
Soon after signing up for the bridal program Pixie is matched with the handsome Dathrow and they find complete bliss in each other’s arms. Things seem to good to be true for Pixie to believe so when she finds evidence that Dathrow is in love with someone else she is crushed. Can Pixie and Dathrow repair things before they are too late? Or will they both find themselves brokenhearted and alone once again?
Dathrow’s story is filled with lots of action, drama, and of course steamy scenes. I really enjoyed reading the first two books in the series, Bridal Pact and Bridal Bonds, and this story was no different. Great writing by the author, Leora Gonzales, and I cannot wait to see what else she has in store!
Alien with a human a great combo.
The sisters in this story are hilarious with their foul-mouthed, antagonistic attitudes. Their mates don’t know what to do with them half the time, even human males would be lost. It is an interesting look at what an alien species might be after on Earth. Hopefully alien life that eventually comes to our planet looks like the characters in this story.
Loved this story too. I have read other books in this series, all out of order, but that’s the beauty of this series! Love the outspoken, no filtered ladies throwing their men for a loop.
Love this series, can’t wait to read the rest! I love that they are stand alone reads, but blend seamlessly with their story lines.
A fun read and I didn’t put it down till finished!
I love the warriors of Phaeton. What good husbands they are! They even cook dinner for their wives. I did not like the brides as much. They talk slang a lot and do not seem to be as refined as their dreamy husbands.
love the book
I really liked it. However, this series is too close to Tracy St.
John’s Kalquor series, which is better.
At this point, I’ve read all but the last of this series and have enjoyed them all thoroughly. Sometimes in a series such as this you’ll find the storyline in each is almost the same (girl-guy-love-sex-trauma-happy ending formula) . But THIS author creates good variations, interesting characters and different scenarios for each book, all the while keep the “thread” going throughout. The storylines grab you quickly and hold on.
She gives you quirky characters, multi-faceted characters, strong characters, plain old evil characters, clever plots, fun, good sex and sometimes a lot of tears. But it’s all very entertaining and will keep you interested. I hope she writes more.
Captivating will read the entire series.
Love it . It was different from some of the others i have read. Neat little twist. But it left you hanging at the end.
I had seen a number of these Alien romance novels and thought the genre was unbelievably silly to even try, but for some reason I tried this one and, to my surprise, found it thoroughly entertaining and not as far-fetched as you would think!
I enjoyed it enough to start buying the rest of the series.
Liked the whole series.
Loved it
I occasionally enjoy the light reading about the trials of the young alien brides. This story is one of the continuing saga and joins the flow.
