This is the second book in the Forbidden Lovers Series but is read as a standalone. I loved Luke and Sarah Jo’s story and know you will. Their chemistry is explosive but their love is forbidden. Her parents and brother did everything to keep them apart but their attraction was just too strong. Lots of family dynamics with Sarah Jo’s father and brother who are both selfish. She is so giving and put’s her landscape design degree on hold to take care of her father. An emotional roller coaster with lots of steam. Secrets, drama and turmoil finally ends with a cliffhanger.
A great second chance, best friend’s little sister romance. It filled with drama, angst, emotional upheaval and a plot to keep you entertained. Follow Sarah Jo and Luke on the ride of their life leading up to a HEA.

Will True Love Win?
I have read several stories by this author and always look forward to a new release. This story is one of her best in my opinion. Sarah Jo and Luke were wonderful together. The fact that they didn’t want to keep their relationship a secret was respectable and a nice change. Sarah’s brother and father were terrible in their treatment of her.

This was a really good enjoyable story with entertaining and charming characters with some drama and action to keep it interesting. I volunteered to read this arc for my honest opinion
They had a love for each other when younger but were separated. They come back together secretly when older as her father and brother don’t agree. But his family does. Her father is sick and her brother is too busy to help with anything. Seems selfish even though he is also having trouble with his personal life. Can these two overcome all the things in the way to have a love they deserve and want? I highly recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Sarah Jo was going to grad school to be a landscape architect but dropped out when her dad had a heart attack. Her mom died when she was in high school. Her brother Ryan is all about his promotion at the bank and his divorce to help her with their dad. Luke is a fire fighter and works at his parents bar. He is best friends with Ryan. Sarah Jo and Luke have loved each other since they were teenagers but decided not to pursue a relationship so they would not hurt other people. These two have a lot to overcome to get their second chance at love but have sizzling hot chemistry. This has a great storyline, kept me entertained and was well written. Sarah Jo left home to attend college to get her degree for her dream career. Two classes shy of her Master’s, her father had a heart attack and she left school to go home to care for him and the family business. Her brother, Ryan had divorced six months prior, had a banking job and is well off. He was too self-absorbed to help out with the business or their father. Their father complained Ryan should run the business, Sarah Jo had no head for business and should plant flowers and marry! He is still sneaking drinks, not attending all of physical therapy sessions and not taking his meds hardly. Luke is Ryan’s best friend but has feelings for Sarah Jo. He is a firefighter and works at his parent’s tavern. Sarah Jo and him start sneaking around so they do not upset anyone. As time goes by, they want others to know! Ryan is VERY upset and her father kicks her out after learning she will stay over at Luke’s house. Luke’s parents approve. Will Sarah Jo’s wish come true for Luke and her? Will her family come together? Will they stay selfish and not talk to her anymore? Find out by reading their story~ I received this as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a good book and I liked both Sarah Jo and Luke a lot. I liked how the feelings they had back in high school were still strong even after the years they had been apart. What I didn’t get was how Luke could be best friends with Sarah Jo’s jerk of a brother! They were so completely different in their attitudes toward women and it seemed like just about everything else too! Our couple was able to get their HEA despite everything but there were a few loose ends that never got fully resolved IMO. A good book nonetheless and worth taking the time to read!

Secret relationship
Good romance on a slow recognition of feelings between two childhood friends, but one of whom, Luck, is the best friend of the heroine’s brother, Sarah Jo. Between this position and the fact that Sarah Jo’s brother is very self-centered, that her father is sick and does not think that she can take over because she is a girl, the reborn relationship between Luck and Sarah Jo is complex. In order not to hurt anyone, they are forced to hide, despite their bond and the friendship with Sarah jo’ brother.
The story has very hot parts, it well written and very romantic.
