I want to succeed where my father failed. And I’m pinning all my hopes on a handsome werewolf stranger… him in place of my usual hook-ups. Matthew happens to be my type. He’s willing to consult, and willing to let me use him in any way I choose – as soon as I find myself in the mood for it. I can date him if I want, or bypass all that nonsense.
I plan to get my money’s worth out of him, after all…

Date with a Werewolf
Lisa Daniels
A very well written tale of three sisters who dislike their (abusive) late father in varying degrees, the youngest of whom inherited their dilapidated family home. She wants to fix it up, so at the advice of her sister, hires a handyman/lawyer/booty call via the monster dating app.

This is a short but fun shifter read! Well written there is great chemistry between Alice and Matthew and you want them to get their hea! A great story and fab characters, this is a great addition to the Date Monsters shifter series!

So when her other sister Jasmine suggests that she use the date of monster app to get help for running the ranch instead of hook ups Alice runs with the idea and comes across Matthew. When he met her sparks flew between them but he fought his attraction so he could get the work done. Matthew knew a lot of people all over so he used friends he could to keep with Alice’s budget. Matthew is jumping back and forth from helping Alice to helping his family with issues they have. Pretty soon things heat up between him and Alice and its not just about work anymore. Alice and her sisters grew up on a homestead with a father who was horrible to them so when he passed away they didn’t agree about what to do the homestead. I really like the way Alice wanted to change the bad memories of the homestead to good ones. Alice needs help so she contracts a wolf shifter named Matthew to help her but it ends up turning into something more. I loved the chemistry and connection between Matthew and Alice. This is a small town shifter romance with likable characters filled with drama, humor, lust and a great HEA.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved the characters being well developed and engaging with enough chemistry to set the pages on fire. The storyline flowed smoothly.

A sad start to a story bout facing your past and becoming the person that you want to be
Regina, Jasmine and Alice along with their uncle Boyd have just buried their abusive father and now they have to decide what to do with the ranch Regina wants to sell it Jasmine wants it as a refuge and Alice wants to make to profitable while Boyd just wants somewhere for his horses. So Alice sets out to try to make the place profitable She employs someone from a shifter dating app to help her as a handyman around the property. Matthew may be a lawyer in his families business but he feels trapped can he find what he wants and needs by helping Alice Can he help them repair their broken family and in the process find the future he needs himself.
I am excited about how the Date Monsters Shifter app has other avenues for humans and shifters to interact. I loved Alice. Wanting to take something horrific and turn it around to something positive is one way to get rid of past terrors. Probably better than burning it down. Regina had her reasons for being so hateful, but taking it out on her sisters made me angry. They didn’t have anything to do with what happened in the past and she did it for them. Jasmine needed to learn how to stand up for herself. Chloe, her girlfriend, didn’t cause any waves which meant she didn’t stand up to Regina either. Chloe was there for a while then we didn’t see her anymore. Jasmine was still there, but I wondered what happened with Chloe. Matthew was wonderful. I think one of my favorite parts with him was when he went looking for Alice at the bar and saw her with a lone wolf shifter. I absolutely loved the way they got along and their interactions were so easily formed. I really am enjoying this series and look forward to the next one. Interesting concept for a shifter romance read. Alice and Matthew aren’t sure at first if they should cross that boundary from business to pleasure but once they do, really they can’t go back.

Emotional, engaging and action packed journey filled with family issues, interesting alliances, estranged sisters and exciting twists… was a captivating read from beginning to end. Highly entertaining experience that kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the finish.
Date with a Werewolf by Lisa Daniels is a book in the Date Monsters Shifters Agency. In this book, three sisters Alice, Jasmin, and Regina inherit their family ranch after their father’s death. Alice the youngest sister wants to make the ranch profitable and continue living on it. She goes on the website Date Monsters to contract a shifter businessman to help her make the ranch profitable. The werewolf shifter she hires is Matthew and the sparks begin. This book is an entertaining read that enforces the idea that anything worth having is worth working for. I loved reading this sweet slow burning romantic read
Alice and her two sisters had a really bad childhood, but when their father dies, she wants to continue the homestead and exchange the bad memories of her childhood into something positive by succeeding with the homestead.
As she is way over her head she contracts a wolf shifter – Matthew – to help her make a success of the business. The chemistry between them is amazing and he does way more for her than just setting up the business-side of the ranch.
A nice story of people who try to make lemonade of lemons that were handed to them. To quite some degree inspirational, but also well written and entertaining. The characters are very “human” – with lots of character flaws – but lovable.

This was a very deep story to read. It had a good story line, even if there were no shifters in it. There is a lot of going deep into the characters past to understand why they are the way they are now and how to get over it. It was nice seeing how the three sisters who were pretty estranged from each other with their own childhood issues coming between them work things out until they are all working peaceably together.
This is about the three sisters who had an abusive and neglectful father. When he dies they each get a financial bonus yet the youngest, Alice, gets the ranch. She had dropped out of college to care for their ailing father until he passed away. The oldest sister, Regina, who took the physical abuse for the other sisters, is a hardened woman. She wants Alice to just sell the rundown ranch and be done with it. The middle sister, Jasmine, was supportive of Alice, also because she was allowed to live at the ranch with her partner, rent free. Alice wants to rebuild the ranch, change it from having bad memories to a place to make happy memories. Jasmine told Alice that she could use the app Date Monsters to also hire consultants and such, not just for dates or hook-ups. So Alice did that and hired Matthew.
Matthew is a shifter who is a lawyer. He has a big firm in the city. When he saw the ad for a consultant to rebuild the ranch, he knew that he could do it. When he went out to view the ranch for the first time, he knew he could do it, in budget, only if he called in a lot of favors. One such favor was from a male that has a string of ranches, but he was a misogynist. He felt women should never leave the house nor have a thought different than their father’s or husband’s. If he found out the ranch belonged to a female, he wouldn’t help at all. By have this pig of a man helping, it saved Alice over $150,000 on the renovations. Meanwhile, Matthew has to put out all the fires that his HUGE family has. It seems that if he helps one person out, two more need help. Good thing he has his own law firm with competent employees to help his family. He also seems to have a hard time keeping this professional with Alice. When they get alone, it seems she is grabbing him for another kiss.

I think that I like this contract thing. It’s new and different, refreshing. The story is excellent. The way it brings the sisters together in the end and they make a future together is above and beyond. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
