I knew I shouldn’t have done it.Lies never work. They always get discovered in the end.But I lied to Chloe Galer. I told her I had a boyfriend, when all I have waiting for me at home is a cat. There’s only one solution left. One way to rescue myself.Look on Date Monsters, and find a shifter willing to be my boyfriend for the week.Except Oskar Wainwright is more than what I bargained for.He accepts … more than what I bargained for.
He accepts my request within hours. And when I meet him…
He’s even more handsome in the flesh.
It’s all a lie.
We have to pretend for one week that we’re dating.
But I’m not sure I can pretend.
I think I might be starting to develop real feelings…
And that’s a huge problem.

I like the name of the dating service, Date Monsters Shifter Dating Service. A brilliant idea. I liked the story. And it does have some advantages to have a werewolf PA on your side too. It was fun and somewhat lite. Nice. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.

This was a quick read. I could sympathize with Lena. Being quiet, not the center of attention, a follower. She makes a bad mistake that ends up making her happy.
Wish I could find a man half as good and sexy as Oskar.
Oskar Wainwright was the third son of a wealthy Dragon Shifter family. There were several, but one of the family owned business was the Date Monsters Shifter Agency, which Oskar took full advantage of to his father’s detriment. Seems his father wanted grandchildren and continued to parade what he thought to be eligible young ladies for Oskar to marry.
Lena is human and truthfully, a people pleaser. Living in an extremely small town where status and reputation is everything, Lena has messed things up royally and needs to fix them desperately.
This is a fast paced, quick, easy read by Lisa Daniels. The story flows, her flawed characters are relatable in their interactions, the plot continues to build throughout. It was a fun book with a few twists, turns and angst to keep things fresh and interesting.
I enjoyed reading this book , it has a good storyline . The storyline is entertaining and filled with action, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Who hasn’t been that person who lies about how exciting their life has been? I just love the way she handled. Yeah, her mouth got her in trouble, but who doesn’t love being in that kind of resolution which made a fantastic story. The story was short, but complex enough that I kept turning the pages. You are in for a fun read.

Date with a Dragon by Lisa Daniels is a fun romantic story about how sometimes the unexpected can change your life. In this story Lena Tate, small town Geevor, Wyoming’s librarian goes on a website Date Monsters to hire a dragon shifter to be her date for her high school reunion. Oskar Wainwright, dragon shifter and owner/user of Date Monsters agrees to be Lena’s date. This story is sweet, sexy, and romantic in the best way. Anyone looking to read a sweet romance with a steamy happily ever after ending will love this story. A fake Date with a Dragon turns out to be real love!
This was a fun and fast story. Lena lied about dating a dragon and has to use Date Monsters to find someone to go with her to a reunion. Oskar was a dragon shifter who was use to 1 night stands. When he takes up to date Lena he ends up spending more time in her small town than planned. The two had great chemistry and a little steam. Katie who was Oskar’s pa was a fantastic secondary character. Loved how the relationship developed. Loved it!
This was a nice book with a great plot and characters. Lena Tate is a quirky, kind-hearted push over who lies about dating a dragon. Fortunately for her there just so happens to be a dating agency, Date-Monsters owned by the dragon family the Wainwrights and Oskar Wainwright accepts her contract. As these two with the aid of Oskar’s PA Katie work to convince Lena’s friends and town that Oskar is her doting boyfriend the lines begin to blur and the truth may be revealed before the contract reaches its end. This short quick-paced story was very entertaining and a pleasure to read.
what started as a lie to get out of an awkward situation just might have brought him his fated mate.
But can real feelings survive artifice ?

Lena let her mouth run away with her and found herself desperately needing a date for her reunion. Signing up with Date-Monsters, she interests Oskar, whose father started this side company. Although Geevor isn’t a town that has many attractions, Oskar and Lena begin to see appeal of each other. I enjoyed Lisa Daniels’ Date with a Dragon and recommend it.

Lena is a small town librarian living life on the fringe who tells a lie to make herself look good to fellow classmates from high school. Her solution is to make the lie good by hiring a date with a monster. That monster is a playboy, rich, dragon shifter named Oskar. There are so many directions you can go with “it started with a lie” and Lisa Daniels ran with it to the finish line! This was a sweet romance and I found myself cheering for Lena and Oskar, really hoping it all worked out for the couple even though I knew it would,
