Mary Ann Nielsen lives by her one-strike-and-you’re-out dating policy, but she’s always open to meeting the right guy. When she accidentally rear-ends handsome Trevor Brooks on her way to a charity auction to buy back her beloved grandmother’s long lost bracelet, she figures this unconventional meeting could at least turn into a hot date. Wrong. Trevor is annoyingly responsible and more concerned … concerned with insurance reports than responding to her flirting so he earns three strikes right off the bat.
Flustered from the car accident and being rejected by gorgeous Trevor, Mary Ann mistakenly bids on the wrong auction item and loses out on reclaiming her grandmother’s bracelet. Instead, she wins four dates on a reality TV show with none other than stuffy Trevor Brooks. Now she’s broke and the only way to get the money to buy back her special family heirloom is to win the grand prize money from the televised couples competition by convincing the audience that she and Trevor are in love.
While dating Trevor on the show, Mary Ann discovers the reliable analyst is fun and kind-hearted. In fact, the more she finds out about him the more she starts to fall for him. Could giving Trevor a second chance mean winning not just the TV show and her grandmother’s bracelet but the love that Mary Ann has always dreamed of?

Finally it is Mary Ann’s story and after seeing what she was like in her sister Gingers book Up to Date I couldn’t wait to really get to know her and I was not disappointed. Mary Ann is not frivolous with money nor does she ditch guys she is dating quickly due to no reason and you real feel for her you slowly learn about growing up so Trevor is the perfect match for her whether either of the realise it at the time. There are plenty of laughs, awkward moments, love, heartbreak as we get to know them both more and she the sparks start to fly oh and yeah a dating competition I would love to participate in lol!

Really enjoyed this fun, action packed and sexy journey filled with witty and engaging charters, memorable dialog, heart racing twists and undeniable passion. Was a great read from beginning to end and so fun to read.
This was such a sweet read and fun too. You’ll love reading about Mary Anns mistakes and what gets her into a dating the same guy she had a accident with, Trevor. The banter was exciting to read between the the characters. This was my favorite read!

This is another fun story, in this series, that is great for a lazy afternoonReading session. Mary Ann and Trevor are a great couple. Mary Ann is a bit flighty and Trevor uptight but opposites attract. Things don’t go smoothly for the couple but all works out in the end I would recommend this book.

Wow. Just wow. Hatler outdid herself with this storyline. Pure gold. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I was stunned at the end to learn of a connection to a different series.
I read the first half of this series but haven’t read the last few, so I didn’t recognize any of the characters – though I assume we’ve met a few before. However, that didn’t put a damper on this book at all.

I enjoyed reading Date & Dash.
It’s a delightful book about Mary Ann
& Trevor. When Mary Ann notices
her Grandma’s bracelet, in an auction
catalogue, she knew she wanted it back.
It has a very special meaning to her.
In her mad dash to get to the auction,
Mary Ann runs into Trevor, literally.
She calls her friend to help with the bid.
When she arrives to claim it,
it turns out Mary Ann bid on the wrong item. What it did include, is the gorgeous, Trevor. The last person she wants to spend time with.
I loved everything about the story!
A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!
Rating:
This was a fun story. I didn’t like Mary Ann much in Ginger’s story so I liked that she got a redemption round. I loved all the characters. Trevor was the perfect guy. They both had layers and the story had a bit of depth. I liked that everything and every problem was resolved by the ending. Both Trevor and Mary Ann were amazing characters. They grew throughout the story and found love at the end. The reality show was a different way of having the characters fall in love.
The story follows Mary Ann. She’s a bit impulsive but kind. There’s a guy at work taking credit for her work but she doesn’t want to say anything, because he is her boss’s nephew. One night after work, she sees her Granny’s bracelet on an auction pamphlet at her sister’s place. She rushes to the auction and rear ends someone in the process. She tries using her charm but he’s really stuffy and brushes it off. Ginger then calls her friend to put in 5,000 dollars on item 65. When she reaches there, she realizes that she bid on the wrong thing. She bid on a reality show with the guy she rear-ended for a chance to win 50,000 thousand dollars.

Date and Dash is the tenth book in Susan Hatler’s Better Date Than Never Series which presents the story of Mary Ann Nielsen and Trevor Brooks. While going to an auction to buy back her grandmother’s bracelet Mary Ann accidentally rear ends Trevors vehicle. Mary Ann is so flustered by the car accident she bids on four dates on a reality show instead of on the bracelet. When she realizes her mistake she must follow through with the dates which turns out to be with Trevor to her surprise. To get their money she and Trevor must fake being in love. I recommend this great and sweet romance with its happy ever after.

3.5 ****. It’s a real comedy of errors with two romantically disillusioned people. She just wanted her grandma’s bracelet and she gets a reality show with the guy she just had a car accident with. Could we have any more fun? It really is a fun, shorter-side book. She is a little too quick to make judgments and poor guy has some unhappy baggage. Susan is able to make light of it into an enjoyable read.

I didn’t want this story to end! Mary Ann rear ended a gorgeous guy on her way to an auction so she called her friend to bid on her grammy’s bracelets item number. But when she arrived at the auction the item she won was a series of dates with a bachelor for a tv series to win money. Not only that, the bachelor was the gorgeous guy she rear ended. They had to make everyone believe That they were the couple that was the most in love. Really fun read.

This was fun and flirty with car accidents and confusion and then being thrust into a reality show. It was fun to read and see the different sides of Trevor that Mary Ann couldn’t resist.

When Mary Ann sees her late grandmothers bracelet that she always loved go up on auction she is determined to win the bid but the bid gets placed on a bachelor date for a reality series where the lucky couple will win $50,000.00. She can use the money to buy the bracelet from the woman who won the big in the auction if Mary Ann can just get through the dating series with the hunk Trevor. Enjoyed this quirky sweet romance and the characters were adorable.
