I barely survived my first year at Darkhen Academy, and now with Ryder gone and my heart shattered I’m not sure I’ll outlive the second. But I have to, right? Because Luxora and her evil minions aren’t waiting around for me to get over my broken heart. With increased attacks in the human world, the supe slayer squad must ride on! Then there’s my father. He’s kind of obsessed with unlocking my new … with unlocking my new super powers. As the first female warlock ever, he’s dead set on harnessing my abilities, even my darkest ones. But if I do, will the dark oracle’s prophecy prove true?
The problem is, I can’t focus on any of that when all I want to do is tear apart the Underworld until I find Ryder. But after months apart, will the man I find be the same one I fell for?
***This is an upper YA/NA crossover with schmexy supernatural guys and is best suited for age 16 and over. Be warned, the steaminess factor does increase through the course of the series!

Action Packed But A Bit Predictable!!
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)
Demons (Darkblood Academy #3)
With Ryder’s Demon taking him over & stealing souls, Luna is desperate to help find him to try to bring him back. She isn’t initially aware of how far he’s fallen. The Super Slayer Squad are then informed of they see him it’s a capture or kill order, she’s devastated!
The Dark Lord is still after Luna & she strikes at the heart of them – not everyone will survive!! This is an emotional draining semester for Luna. She relies on Drake quite a lot. A new Angel is added to the staff There is a huge betrayal but I think we’ve all known it was coming! Roll on 1st December for the final book in this series so we get all of our answers & plots tied up!!

I love seeing Luna grow into her powers and get more assertive. I also love that we get to know a bit more about Drake. Not everything is predictable, but I sometimes get annoyed with Luna. Mostly when she’s acting like the teenager she is, when her emotions get the most of her… That is rather predictable and I can’t help that I want to slap her on the head once in a while! This is often a part of YA novels though, so I can’t really blame the author for this, and the rest of the book is really good! When’s the next one?!
Another fun-filled adventure for Luna and the gang. The love triangle is in full swing, and I honestly can’t decide which love interest I like most. Great continuation of the series, but now I need book 4!!!
Darkblood Academy: Book Three was impossible to put down! I fell more in love with the characters GK DeRosa created.
Possible spoiler if you haven’t read the 2nd book!**
Ryder’s absence was definitely felt in this book. Although, it was fun to read more about Drake and get to know him better as Luna grows closer to him in Ryder’s absence. I can’t wait for the 4th book!
Luna and the team search for Ryder and try to take down Luxora in this third installment of the series. I love the growing relationship between her and Drake and can’t wait to see where i goes. Luna is growing more and more into her powers and is becoming a true force to reckoned with. This is a fantastic series. It draws you in and refuses to let you go. A true to must read. I volunteered to read this book.
This is a fantastic series. If your an academy reads lover and the Supernatural, then this is definitely the read for you. The Author has definitely brought a must read story. This is fast paced and action paced and its a real page turner. This is definitely more than a 5 star read.

I can’t believe this is the 3rd book already!
I love this series so much! I’m gonna miss it when I’ll read the last book 🙁
As much as I loved this first one sometimes I had to convince myself to read, but at the end it was worth it! Maybe it is also because I’m a little bit older and sometimes something is more for a younger audience, but either way I enjoyed it a lot and can’t wait for the last book!
Demons unleashed, hearts are shattered, an the enemy of my enemy is invoked. Book three is intense and heart pounding! Forbidden romances leap up totally compounding the eternal confusion. So many questions! Book four of course is a must read now, and I believe a spin off series follows this as well so totally looking forward to it! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Its like smashing together books 1 & 2, than twisting the ending a bit differently! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the characters but the storyline was repetitive! I’m hoping the final book will annihilate this book and will blow my mind after the disaster of this story!
Maybe if Luna wasn’t so whiny about Ryder I could have enjoyed this story better.
G.K. hits it out of the park again Book three of the Darkblood academy series just keeps getting better and better. It picks up where book to left off. Luna and the sup slayer squad are back with a few changes. I suggest reading books 1 and 2 before reading book 3. Though you could read alone. But you will miss so much.
Spoilers…..
Though i do miss Ryder and Luna time so hot. Luna is basically now closer with Derek aka ice Prince. Not so bad but in my opinion Ryder and Luna belong together. If there. Were a ship. I would ship them
Can’t wait for book four.
Demons is Book 3 in the Darkblood Academy series by G.K. DeRosa. When you think it can’t get any better, it does. Luna is having a hard time accepting what has happened to Ryder (her love) and blames herself. Drake (the ice prince) is there to support Luna and has been thru it all and it’s great to see them developing into something more than friends. Ms. DeRosa has given us a superbly well crafted world with well developed and interesting characters. If you want a fast paced, action filled adventure that keeps you turning pages from beginning to end, then this is the book and series you are looking for. Am both anxious and sad for the next book in the series (it will be the last one in this series) to see how Ms. DeRosa will bring this series to a close. I hope we will be seeing these characters in the future with some having books of their own. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
As for most readers, my heart was torn-out and stepped on at the end of book 2. Luna wants to try to get over Ryder, but just can’t seem to do it. I do love that Drake is becoming more transparent with his affection for Luna. There is so much going on and all of Luna’s emotional upheaval it just is one wild adventure. Luxora is still after her, Ryder is still fighting his demon, Drake is one hot fey prince, Luna’s secret is harder and harder to hide and she is not giving up on Ryder or her team. I could read about the Supe Slayer Squad for a long time to come. I am loving this series. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
This third instalment is every bit as awesome and addictive as the previous two! A highly emotional rollercoaster ride filled with action & battles with Luxora and the demons & I love Luna and really really feel for her over Ryder! Still she is full of sarcasm and snark and makes an awesome kick ass heroine . Throw in more twists and turns and you will be left wanting no needing book 4!
