The New York Times bestselling author of Double Shot cooks up a knockout treat featuring irrepressible caterer Goldy Schulz that gives new meaning to the phrase, “let’s kill all the lawyers” I tripped over the body of Dusty Routt sometime after 10 on the evening of October 19th.Goldy Schulz has a lucrative new gig, preparing breakfasts and conference room snacks for a local law firm. It’s time … local law firm. It’s time consuming, but Goldy is enjoying it—until the night she arrives to find the firm’s paralegal dead. The poor girl also happens to be Goldy’s next-door neighbor, and now her grieving mother begs Goldy to find out who murdered her daughter.
Just because the police are on the case doesn’t mean Goldy can’t do a little snooping—and catering—too. Before long, Goldy is knee-deep in suspects, one of whom is very dangerous and very liable to cook Goldy’s goose.

Goldy Schultz is always a fun read.
I read and enjoyed this entire series when it was new.
Read March 11, 2018
It has been years since I read a “Goldy Bear” mystery and it was kind of weird to be back in her world. There were people and events that I had totally forgotten about or just plain don’t remember at all. It was like knowing people, but really having to relearn who they were again.
This one was very good – I had no idea and …
Always love Davidson’s stories and recipes.
Love her whole series!
I have enjoyed reading all of the books by this author! I find them easy to read and clever story lines.
wish diane mott Davidson would write more I have read everyone of her books really love the recipes
I have read this whole series I was sad when she decided to end the series.
The characters were interesting enough I could hardly wait for the next one to come out
I love all of Davidson’s Goldie books. Not just because I live in Colorado and like to figure out what area she’s writing about, but mostly because since I’ve read them all from the first, I’m invested in Goldie and her son and her catering business. I believe these are the first books to have the recipes printed in them.
Love the author. Have read all of her mysteries.
Excellent series! Wonderful recipes.
I love Goldy and her stories. The recipes are quite good!
I have read every book and would recommend reading in order.
In addition you get recipes that are usable and delicious.

I like following the characters in the series.
I have enjoyed all of Diane Mott Davidson’s books. They are all enjoyable and easy reads.
I have read and enjoyed most of her books. This one was very disappointing, bordering on ridiculous. I will hesitate before choosing another. Certainly would not recommend to anyone over the age of 12.
Fun read
