OMG!!! What a fantastic finale to this amazing paranormal RH trilogy!! Things have been coming to a head for awhile now so it makes since that it would peak. Celeste has a lot to deal though she does so superbly. Full of twists, surprises, and emotional overload. Perfect for fans of steamy paranormal RH. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
In this final book of the series you have so much happening! Celeste is now part vampire, part wolf and still all witch so what needs to happen next? To become part fae! Don’t miss out on how this happens and all that comes in between as well as an explosive ending to end all books!
Dark Poison by Grace White is a Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett.
I love Grace’s books! They always leave me begging for more. She did a great job wrapping up the series.
Sarah did an amazing job narration. I absolutely love everything Sarah has narrated on. She knows how to bring a story to life.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Romance, Paranormal, or Reverse Harem books.

Dark Poison was the epic conclusion to Grace White’s Devil’s Gate trilogy. It picks up where book two left off and cannot be read as a standalone.
The time for Celeste to complete her destiny is coming quicker than anyone wants. Danger is coming for and anyone she cares for, as Dahlia’s vampire army along with a Fae traitor and Le Anciens have Celeste in their sights.
While she has the support of her men and some of the paranormal inhabitants of Devil’s Gate. Celeste will need to be the one to figure how to end this centuries long struggle of blood and sacrifice before she loses everything, including her life.
For fans of this series, the end is finally here, and Grace White sends out he series with a bang! Watching Celeste embrace what she was to become was epic and seeing her combine witch, fae, wolf and vampire seamlessly was pretty incredible to watch.
As Celeste learns more about herself and what is to come, she grows closer to Laken, Gage and Lucas, which also helps to draw their species together for the upcoming battle.
I love how these very different alpha men all come together for Celeste and have to learn not only to share her affections, but also how to give her the space that she needs when all they want to do is protect and claim her. It was really fun watching her learn her own strengths and begin to trust in them as she brought the alphas together.
There are some extremely hot and sexy scenes and the final battle is fierce. A sacrifice will need to be made, and it’s both unexpected and amazing. Readers will appreciate how this all plays out as the author also gifts us with a fabulous epilogue to wrap this trilogy up in a spectacular fashion. 4.5 stars
A phenomenal ending to this trilogy.
There was not one chapter that did not have action. Celeste has decided to embrace her future and end the cycle of blood, death, and sacrifice. It was awesome to watch her discover herself and become The Vessel.
Kudos to Ms. White for writing some hot, hot, hot reverse harem. It got steamy.

The end has come to the Devil’s Gate trilogy and it was suspenseful, action-packed, and titillating. Every page has steam rising from it. The ending had me satisfied and I felt completed. I felt like I had been given all the answers and all was right with the world. The epilogue was perfect for this book. It left me with one burning question, but I don’t think the answer will ever be revealed, nor is it needed. Celeste, Gage, Laken, and Lucas are united as one and they will go forth as such, in all things.
I loved this story from the beginning and was eager for each new book to unlock more keys and secrets into Devil’s Gate. I found the storyline to be imaginative and believable as far as paranormal go. Each book made sense and left me needing and craving more.
Having the heroine mate and bond with a member of each species, vampire, wolf, and fae, was extremely satisfying. My favorite mate changed throughout the book, but in the end, I loved them all and the different personalities they brought to the story.
I would certainly recommend this series to anyone who wants to read paranormal and step into the dark world of Devil’s Gate with Celeste LaFleur and her harem to guide and protect you.
I hate saying goodbye. Whether through death or the last page, goodbyes always make me sad. Saying goodbye to Devil’s Gate is no less sad. Dark Poison brings everything to a head. Vampire, wolf, faerie, and witches abound but not all will survive. The war is coming. The Vessel must be ready. And yet, I don’t want it to end. Don’t worry, Grace White has a way of making you happy in the end. Must be a loophole!
I loved this, it was a wonderful conclusion to the trilogy. I’m going to miss these characters and their extremely sexy interludes at the cabin. The finale to their on going battle was bittersweet, touching and yet perfect in how it played out. I admit I had a difficult time with how the men were constantly protecting her despite knowing she is stronger than they are. But I also understand it’s the protective instinct and worry within them. That being said, Celeste is a freakin badass! Anyway, this was a great trilogy and I’m sad it’s over, I will definitely be rereading it binge style over and over again as I have now added it to my pile of books I can’t let go of.
This is a fast pace read that will you hooked to this amazing series that will have you feel like you are right their durning the writing of this amazing read . You can feel the strong love throughout this book.
So Good But I Wanted A Bit …. More!!
This has been my favourite RH Series I’ve read to date! I’ve loved the characters, storyline, drama, heartbreak & the blossoming love!!
In this final instalment Celeste will need to become part Fae, as she’s already part Wolf, Witch & Vampire. All of the races need to be united within the Vessel (her) to finally end L’âiné & the grip he’s held over the Devils Gate, always!! Blood is everything in their circles & she comes to fear what it will take to finally defeat him!!
She needs to connect with her last mate, Lucas. The Fae has wanted her since he first saw her, but knows this final step will change her irrevocably & is initially reluctant! The ceremony, when it takes place, is pure lust & steam, with all four of them participating!!
(This is where I wanted ‘more’! The details were lacking compared to these types of scenes in book #2 where they were written brilliantly with depth, heart & so much emotion – I found that sorely & disappointingly lacking with the intimate scenes in this book.)
I still feel like we didn’t get to know the ‘man’ Lucas, in the same way as did with Gage & Laken! He seemed so mysterious & knowledgeable, full of secrets & a past but we didn’t get to know any of it – again, this disappointed me as I genuinely love these characters! But it didn’t take anything from the story, I’m just greedy!
Having had my little moan I truly can’t fault the rest of the story. It has light moments & then parts that are so dark, especially for Celeste The final confrontation & it’s results were surprising & so emotive!! I adored the epilogue – perfect!!
A great series overall. This book brought it to a satisfying & wonderful conclusion. It had justice for ‘everyone’ involved which really pleased my heart!!

This is the final book in the Devil’s Gate series and one I have been patiently waiting for since reading the first book Blood Lust. The first thing I have to say is that I’m so glad we FINALLY get that piece of Lucas I’ve been dying for. He’s always been so intriguing; doing his thing but in the back ground. He finally let’s us see him emotionally. All 3 men were perfect for Celeste and I love how they weren’t afraid to express their love for her no matter who was watching. The only thing that I wasn’t such a fan of was Celeste and her negative feelings. She’s the strongest being in Devil’s Gate yet she acts like a bit of a whimp. I know her men didn’t help in that respect and that they feared losing her but she needed to fullfill her destiny and they kept trying to hold her back. I liked when she finally stepped up and showed her strength, especially to her men. This was the conclusion that I needed and while I’m sad to see them go I’m glad they got their HEA. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
