Great book! Better than Gone Girl!
Everything Gillian Flynn writes is great!
The best of Gillian Flynn.
Gillian Flynn wrote Gone Girl, Dark Places and Sharp Objects. All have a similar theme — they are dark crime dramas featuring disturbed young women. If you like that sort of thing, as I do, then I recommend all of them — they are well written and a little scary.
Suspencful, I could not put it down!
Dark indeed, but a compelling story. Nothing in the story seems to add up, because you can’t possibly imagine what took place all those years ago. An absolute must read.
She’s one of my favorite authors!
Really liked Gone Girl and chose to read based on that book. Good read.
While I like the book, I just found the main character too whiny. I know she had her demons to resolve and accepted that throughout the book.
I would give it 3.5 stars.
Her books are all dark so you need to be in the right mood to appreciate them.
suspenseful
Very good.
‘Gone Girl’ got all the attention, but Gillian Flynn delivers just as much drama in ‘Dark Places’ with satisfying results.
Love the slightly skewed normalcy of this book. Twisted is a good adjective for it. Couldn’t put it down!
Good read if you like thrillers.
as a follow up to the stunning ” Girl on a train’ pretty impressive. A totally different book with the same unpredictability and hyper observance that so quickly sends chills down one’s spine. Well done!
I don’t really care for any of her books. Sorry!!
Really enjoy Jillian Flynn. She has some twisted thinking but I like it. Would recommend anything she has written.
Entertaining but not her best work.
Amazing!
