It was too dry did not finish it
This book was okay – an easy read, but the storyline wasn’t as compelling as I originally expected. There really aren’t any surprising twists, even though it seemed that’s what MFM intended.
Slow moving. Less interesting than the Sasha books. Probably won’t read another one in the series.
I didn’t care for it.
I really enjoyed the main character, Bodhi, and how he listened to many other sides of the investigation and pieces together the truth.
Loved reading this book – even though it makes you scared about the murders, the zen inserted really made this book enjoyable! Thank you!
I liked the chapter headers comparing Christianity and Buddhism. The characters are good, and the ending is not expected
I enjoyed this book. The characters were true and likable. The plot was interesting and believable.
Will read the next book to find out how Dr King is doing solving medical problems.
The author develops a very good story line and skillfully guides the reader to follow the logic path being teased along by the narrative. Zebra hooves can be misleading.
Excellent murder mystery with many different twists. Interesting aspects of Buddhist , Christian ,Catholic and Santeria religion. It was an interesting read.
Good pace and real characters. Good story. Good flow as in I didn’t have to go over anything to get what was going on. Characters seemed like real people.
This book puts a real twist on the murder mystery genre. Interesting insight into religion and it’s effect on how professionals do their jobs.
Excellent read, relatable characters, real life mystery, couldn’t put it down, love Bodhi Kings calming influence and investigative skills, scary that it could happen to anybody,
This book was not what I expected which made it even more enjoyable.
I enjoyed the characters and the story. The way the author built up the plot, as well as the twist, kept me interested.
Interesting blend of people with different theologies. Intro to a series.
Good clean book with a very interesting story.
Enjoyable read. Really like the main character and would like to read more with him as the central focus. Interesting plot and setting. Look forward to more in the series.
