Lola was so strong for having a stalker. The book was really good. It was crazy how that crazy stalker of hers followed her so far, he was really crazy. Matti was so sweet to Lola, they make a good couple. And Lola’s best friend was great for her to.
I absolutely loved this book! It kept me on my seat throughout the entire story. From the first page through the last. This had suspense, and twists that kept me excited with every chapter I read though.
This is my first read from Author Jenna van Berke, but it will not be my last! Thank you for such an absolutely fantastic story!!
I liked reading this book Dark Nights by Jenna van Berke because it was a very good suspenseful book. I normally don’t read books like this but I was intrigued by the blurb. Lola was being stalked by someone named Mike. They used to work together and he was blackmailing her. That is why she couldn’t go to the police. He was very good at stalking her. He knew everything about her and her family and friends. She tried moving away and even going to another country, but Mike always found her. I was on the edge of my seat reading this because stalkers are scary and invasive. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. It was very good and I highly recommend it. It will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat.
This second book of the series focuses on the arrival of Lola at Oravi. She was being stalked and this was the main reason for her trip to Finland, what she did not count on was that the stalker would follow and find her in Oravi and then….. As the previous book this one was also a light and enjoyable reading. Let´s see how will the series continue.

First time read of Author Jenna van Berke. I love romantic suspense. This delivered. I dislike stories that jump back in forth in time, which this did, but I understand why it was used in this story. I have not read book 1 in the Northern nights series, but I had no trouble with this and I don’t feel like I missed anything. The stalker was creepy and you feel the creepy vibes. I liked Matti and Lola, well done. This is told from several points of view. I would have been happy with just Matti and Lola. That’s my personal preference. An enjoyable short read. Thank you for the arc Jenna and Story origin. I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.
What a great read this was the characters are well developed and engaging and with chemistry. Will they survive the stalker who is after her and will he be able to protect her. The suspense made for a great storyline.

This is the 2nd book I’ve read written by Jenna van Berke; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Creepy crazy stalker. What a terrorizing time to have someone think it’s normal to watch you and follow your every move. I could feel my heart clench a few times reading this as I could imagine what was going on.

This second in the Northern Nights series does ramp up the suspense with a stalker who is nothing short of determined. My favorite parts of the book were from when the stalking began in what felt like a diary or journal. They’re from Lola’s point of view and they certainly paint a creepy picture. The romance side of this one is where I ran into problems. We’re told that Lola is attracted to Matti and later in the story, we get a bit from his perspective, but that’s telling, not showing. It did take me a little while to warm up to Matti, so that may have had something to do with it, but I would’ve liked more depth and I don’t know, maybe some romantic exploration between these characters. They seem to go from mere attraction to a relationship very quickly. That aside, I did enjoy the suspense and learning a bit more about this town. The story is a quick read, perfect for an easy weekend afternoon.
Nice series. I was really enjoying the suspense & story and when suddenly everything wrapped up pretty quickly. I noticed there’s another book in the series, so perhaps some things are further explored there.
Great love story nice with i believe all the best. Romance, mystery, suspense and a perfect happily ever after.
Lola has a stalker, a former co-worker. He hasn’t done much. Yet. Except hack her ex and blackmail her with explicit photos. She moves, cuts her hair, changes phone numbers, shuts down social media – all to no avail. Before long, he finds her. She heads to Finland to visit her best friend, Litza, and her husband, Niila. She’s attracted to their friend, Matti, and they begin a relationship. She begins to feel like she’s being watched again. But it can’t be Mike – there’s no way he could find her halfway around the world. This is not a very long book, but it really packs a punch. The characters are well-developed, and I really like Lola and Litza’s friendship. Matti seems a bit closed-off, but that’s just his way, and he opens up with Lola as their relationship deepens. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat for a good while. This book could be read as a standalone, but I feel like I had a better understanding of many of the characters having read White Nights first. I appreciate the glossary at the beginning, explaining Finnish words and terms in one place for reference during the book. I’m really looking forward to the next in the series.
