New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Kresley Cole continues her seductive and “devilishly passionate” (RT Book Reviews) Immortals After Dark series with this tale of a vampire shunned by his own kind and a beautiful phantom, bound together by a passion they cannot resist. N#65533;omi Laress, a famous ballerina from a past century, became a phantom the night she was murdered. Imbued … night she was murdered. Imbued with otherworldly powers but invisible to the living, she haunts her beloved home, scaring away trespassers—until she encounters a ruthless immortal even more terrifying than N#65533;omi herself.
To prevent him from harming others, vampire warrior Conrad Wroth’s brothers imprison him in an abandoned manor. But there, a female only he can see seems determined to drive him further into madness. The exquisite creature torments him with desire, leaving his body racked with lust and his soul torn as he finds himself coveting her for his own.
Yet even if Conrad can win N#65533;omi, evil still surrounds her. Once he returns to the brutality of his past to protect her, will he succumb to the dark needs seething inside him?

Book 5 of the Immortals After Dark series. Let me sum it up for you this way:
Conrad is a crazy red-eyed vampire, locked up in a mansion by his non-red-eyed vampire brothers to try to bring him back from the brink so they don’t have to kill him.
He hallucinates all the time because of all the memories from others he has in his head (from feeding …

This is the 5th book in the IAD series. And each book is better than the book before it.
Kresley Cole has an amazing …
One of my very favorite Kresley Cole books — a beautiful ghost story between a lonely, wonderful dancer from the 20s and a broken, maddened vampire who can somehow see her. I love all of Kresley’s books, but this one is so incredibly special to me. And can be read out of order in the IAD universe.
Whole series is great
I love this series so much that.
If you’re a fan of supernatural, steamy couples, bad boys and tough girls then you’ll have an amazing time reading this.
Talk about a strong heroine. Neomi is amazing!!! How can a freakin’ ghost be a valid heroine? Seriously? But it works, and it works well. While I’ve enjoyed this series so far, this book is the one that has shown me that Kresley Cole truly is a genius. Her heroines are always strong, her heroes always stubborn and somewhat broken, and she always …
I just love Naomi and Conrad’s story. Dark Needs At Night’s Edge by Kresley Cole is part of the Immortals After Dark series. Each book keeps getting better than the last, I love this world that Ms Cole has created. So well written, it is easy to get transported right in the story. Love every character and cant wait to meet more as we build up to …

I’m slowing but surely going back to re-read the IAD series from Kresley Cole, but this time I’m listening to them. It’s all thanks to the Fated Mates Podcast. I love listening to the podcast after I’ve listened to the books because they reveal so much of why I …
These Wroth brothers are something! Each one is so delicious in its own way. Conrad is no exception. The journey he takes on in this book melts my heart for this tortured soul. At the same time, I can’t help but adore Neomi’s character. She is such a strong, optimistic, progressive, sensual, luscious, gregarious person, who loves life and all it …
Love the world that Kresley created!
Ok, another great one in this series, I’m unsure if I can choose a favorite yet. I like the struggle with Conrad, both internally and with his “Bride” I really love the character of Neomi. She’s willful, strong, can be independent, but she’s also girly and fun! I think they made a good match. I was pleased to see some characters return, especially …
This is the second time I’m reading this book.
I love the world of the immortals. It just keeps getting better and better.
Conrad Wroth, a vampire mad with the memories of those he drank from, meets the ghost of ballerina that shakes his world. She is bound to the house where his brothers have imprisoned him. They hope to find a cure for his …
