This book has been sitting on my TBR for a long time and I wonder what took me so long!
Aleksio is a ghost from Mira’s past. She thought he was dead and when he came for her, years later, she could not believe that he had been alive all this time.
This book has true mafia situations and drama. These characters are caught in a turf war, and it will get bloody and crazy.
Viktor, Aleksio’s long lost brother, has his own demons that he is dealing and struggling with. But he would die for his brother.
I loved how Annika Martin wrote from 3 main character points of view. It gave the story more depth and understanding from the all the people involved.
Wickedly arousing and extremely mind bending plotline. I loved Mira and her strength. Aleksio is so so dark and intense but Mira sees the beauty inside him. a really great read I will be reading more books by this author.
OMG!!! I may hate Russian hackers but these Mafia princes are to die for! Non-stop action, great plot, and crazy but likable characters make this a must read. Bloody and violent, this novel doesn’t glorify their actions, rather, it focuses on love that will eventually change their lives. There’s no compromise yet, it’s kill or be killed. Best Russian mob story yet!!!
Aleksio is trying to take down the group that killed his parents and separated him from his brothers. He kidnaps the bosses daughter, Mira, as leverage to find where his youngest brother is.
I really liked Aleksio and Mira. Their relationship was quick, steamy, and perfect for the overall storyline. I really want to read the rest of the series to learn more about Viktor and Kiro, and hopefully see more of Aleksio and Mira.
Perfect anti-hero in this intense dark romance
I love dark romances with alpha heroes like Aleksio. I fell in love with him and Mira right from their first interaction on the book’s pages. The story has raw, intense, gritty emotions. It was sexy and exactly everything I love about the dark romance. The mystery and suspense kept me intrigued and unexpected twists and turns in the storyline while lies are unravelled made me mesmerized with the plot even more. I just devoured this book. I will for sure continue the journey with Dragusha brothers.

Our Dark Prince is deliciously wicked and bad in so many great ways. Survival, loyalty, strength, love of family, these are what built and drive him. He will stop at nothing to reunite his family and take back what is theirs.
Mira was a refreshing character. I was so glad she wasn’t written as an immature twit but a real sweetie. She is only naive by how she was raised but otherwise, she is strong and fierce in her determination to help other’s or by doing the right thing. She is smart and resourceful.
I highly recommend reading as I can’t wait to find out what the brother’s stories are. Happy Reading!

Amazing start to a series! I kind of want to read the rest now…we’ll see if I can get my hands on the sequels 🙂 but anyways I’m just happy because for once I actually enjoyed a dark romance centered around kidnapping. It’s very much my thing but so often it’s ruined by Alpha Male posturing and weak main characters and waaaay too much sex for my taste. Here, the sex comes in small portions, and the MMC’s possessiveness is balanced off by vulnerability and a FMC who can take what he throws at her. Not to mention he knows her as a person and doesn’t just see her as a piece of meat. Tension? High. Dark tone? Look, this woman’s finger comes within an inch of being cut off, she’s drugged, threatened, and nearly killed a couple times, and the MMC’s backstory is grim as fuck. But you balance it out with good character development and genuine relationships. THAT’S HOW YOU DO IT, PEOPLE. YOU MAKE IT ABOUT MORE THAN SEX.
Anyways I liked this book.
I ended up buying the whole series. Couldn’t put it down, sad that it is done.
I loved it have every intention to read rest of series.
