I have read 6 or 7 of the “Lei Crime” novels. They are always an exciting read with enough unpredictable twists to keep you from figuring it all out too soon.
It was OK. A bit convoluted
Toby Neal manages to write fresh plots while following the same characters in this series of books. I enjoy each of them. The characters are familiar, but not boring.
As expected… lots of twists but held my interest all the way to the last page
This was a good read
Just briefly, I really enjoy the Toby Neal books. The Hawaiian settings are real and the characters seem very human. The closing of one chapter in Lei’s life and the opening of a new one leaves me looking forward to the next book.
He led my attention
From my limited knowledge of Hawaii, it was well researched which made the case(s) seem probable, and the characters believable.
Was suspenseful so much so that I had to put it down sometimes and take a breather!
Once again Toby Neal proves to be a good read.
Tough and tender. I enjoyed both the storyline and the characters.
