Mayah, princess of the Draken House of Al-Maddeiri, has been haunted by ghosts for years. Visions, dreams, and nightmares—ghosts reaching out to her, begging her to save them. But how do you save people who are already dead? Tristan Barnes is supposed to be Mayah’s healer, reaching into her mind with his white wolf powers to fix the damage, slay the ghosts, and coax her lost dragon back out into … dragon back out into the world.
It’s bad enough that he’s lost his professional distance and fallen head over paws for his sexy, feisty patient. Even worse, being near Mayah is opening up old wounds. His hard-won sanity and stability are slipping away, and the ghosts of his own past are coming back to haunt him—literally.
But what will happen when they find out they’re seeing the same ghosts—and that they aren’t really ghosts at all?
Tristan and Mayah will have to break all the rules, and face their own fears, to finally save the ghosts—and each other.

Loved it. This is one of those books you want to read over and over it is so good. It has a lot of twists and turns, suspense, excitement, emotional situations and so much more. Two people with gifts who need to heal from the past. I highly recommend it. I voluntarily review a copy of this.
Mayah and Tristan
Loved the second book in this series. There is lots of action and I am enjoying how the overall story is developing. Anxiously waiting for the third book to be released which should be soon.
3.5 stars. Once I got into this I enjoyed it.
I struggled to get into this for some reason at the beginning, just didn’t grab me right from the start. Not sure if I just wasn’t in the mood but I usually love this authors books.
I put it down for a few days then picked it up again and pushed on.
Once I did get back into it, I found it enjoyable, a bit convoluted and busy.
The ending was intriguing.
I was kindly offered a copy of this book but read it through KU.
Loved the book. Tristan finds his mate in the dragon princess, Mayah and a beautiful love story happens. Along the way they have a lead that white wolf shifters are being held captive and experimented on. There is a lot of action in this story and the rescue mission has a few blimps, but the love between Mayah and Tristan holds steady. I have not read the first book but plan to buy it. This is a great read and I would recommend it.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dark Dragon’s Wolf by Anastasia Wilde is the second book in the Darkwing Dragons series. I loved this book! From the start Tristan and Mayah pull you into their story with a desperation to “witness” their attempt at bonding. There is so much action, drama, angst, humor and love in this book that you just can’t put it down. This is a series read and the books should be read in order to get the maximum enjoyment from the series, but you can read this as stand alone (but, why when the books are so delicious!). Anastasia Wilde gifts us with strong characters both primary and secondary) that you can’t help but want to love or slap upside the head. There is resolution to Tristan and Mayah’s story. A great read to get you wound up for the day!

Dark Dragon’s Wolf, by Anastasia Wilde is a trip into illegal and horrific treatment of living beings. It is well written with never a boring moment. This story will capture your imagination, filling it with suspense and mystery. It’s filled with action, adventure, humor, and, of course, steamy romance. It’s not necessary to read her other series, but you will meet some characters from them, while at the same time meeting new ones. The story is a definite page turner
Tristan and Mayah are both tattered and tortured from imprisonment, torture and drugs. Tristan is have blinding headaches and nose bleeds. Mayah has lost her dragon from all the torture and experiments she’s been through. Both are seeing ghosts and that are calling for help, but are they seeing the same ghosts or their own personal ghosts.
As Tristan and Mayah try to figure out why the ghosts are haunting them, they find a Gen-X group may be involved. They enlist help from the Bad Blood crew, the Wild Dragons and even the Red Dragons.
This is another five star story and I expect future installments will be just as great and a must read for anyone who loves paranormal romance.
I received an advanced copy of Dark Dragon’s Wolf from the author and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Tristan and Mayah have been through a lot. Some things for them have been similarly. Captivity and experimented on. The story has so much depth of it and it is very rich. It is a very good story and well worth the read. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Tristan and Mayah are my favorites! I loved the first book with Emon and Trish, but there was just something extra special about this one and the bond these two had and the events they had to overcome. They were both so tattered and tortured but they trusted in and relied on each other to get them thru the danger and turmoil and come out stronger with an unbreakable bond.
There is so much to enjoy in this book from the suspense, drama, action, danger, and romance to the snark (which I love), the emotional turmoil, mystery, and laughter. We get to learn more about the Al-Maddeiri dragons and we also get to catch up with the Bad Blood crew and Wild Dragons and even the Red Dragons jump into the fray. It is one huge dysfunctional family to the rescue! It was great to see them all make an appearance and help out when trouble landed on their doorstep. It was a non-stop adventure from beginning to end.
*I received an advanced copy from the author and I am leaving my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are solely my own. Thank you, Anastasia Wilde.
